Title: What would happend if someone invent superquic blockchain and dont loose safety?

I believe that soon blockchan as block in the chain we call cryptocurrency will be replaced by another mathematical model that will allow instant value transfer.

I believe in magic. And unicorns.

Then I would have some superluminal spaceplanes to sell you.

For 1BTC I will tell you how to make these super quick blockchains.

I've also got a lovely piece of engineering for sale that crosses a local river.

You'll need more than a mathematical model to allow instant transfers. You also need a physical model, in which the speed of light limit does not apply. Here in the real universe, it is physically impossible to send data to the other side of the world and send a response back in less than 85 milliseconds (133.7 milliseconds if you have to go around the world instead of through it). This is not a limitation of current technology, but a physical law. In practice, connections are much slower, and it takes multiple hops to send data to all nodes on a network, which can take several seconds or even over a minute depending on network topology.

What you're suggesting is impossible with today's technology, and even with future technological improvement, there's a hard limit on how fast it can get.

Tachyons. I can't say more because there's a patent pending...

Sorry mate, but I used the tachyons I invented next summer to get my patent granted last fall.

Unfortunately the US government declared it "born secret" information though.  ???

I don't see why. The US government deemed the "tachyon bomb" project to be a complete failure, after its repeated failures to kill Hitler.

Damn! I just realized it! Of course!

The US government is full of Nazi's! And they're trying to stop time travel!
