Title: Bitcoin Price Rising
Post by: lightlord on September 19, 2011, 11:22:36 PM
It was at $4.70 earlier and it has been steadily rising to $5.51; it already went up 80 cents. It might be
the best time to buy before it skyrockets up insanely. Suckers to all that sold at $4.70 xD
Bitcoin might have some life left; not dead yet.

http://mtgoxlive.com/orders

Hurry; another skyrocket could occur; and you would of wished you had got it at $5.51 and not at $7. Now
you might be like meh; then a month later be like hmmm remember this guy called lightlord; he said it might skyrocket and its $10 already; fml could of bought at $5.51; could happen.

I am considering buying some too; Before it skyrockets again.

Isn't this about the most obvious trolling attempt you've ever seen? Skyrocketing 5 cents? Are you serious?

This is an obvious pump-and-dump attempt.

Mr. "lightlord" is obviously long BTC and is trying to pump the price up so he can make a quick buck.

Why am I the only one to mention the obvious? No one else notices the pink elephant in the room.

I think you are one of the few who still gives a damn about such actions. The rest of us switch off :) And/or read these for the amusement factor "poor little simpletons. ah, ain't they cute"
That's meant to be a compliment, by the way, Angel :)

I think I am getting paranoid in how what I say is being interpreted.... I said a couple of very nice things to my girlfriend and she totally took them the wrong way ! women ! nightmare !

I am not trying to pump... If i was the price would of went up 5 cents then crashed; in my attempt; its well over $6 right now at 6.10 now as i speak.
I bet you sold all yours at 4.70 and you are not very happy...
We all make our mistakes; just admit it.

I bought a few at 5.20 and most at 4.70; i am not planning on pumping and dumping; i am actually planning on holding them; i think bitcoin has a potential future.

You need to relax dude half the posts in this thread are by you. I hope I'm not the only one that thinks you need to shut up and stop posting minute to minute updates. There's a website people can go to if they care that much.

It's nice to see price recovering a bit, but the next hurdle is to at least get above 6 and hold. And we still aren't seeing much volume on up moves compared to the volume on down moves. It's encouraging, but there's not much evidence yet that a major rally is coming.

Because the op doesn't know any better he posted in mining to sell his io coins because he had mined them, as opposed to the marketplace...

I welcome you and your thread to the Speculation forum, haha. The charts are in agreement with you. Most technical analysts have been saying it for a couple days now, it is going up! =)

Damn that manipulator!  He/she/they/it just threw 1400 bitcoins into the bids and we're back below $6 again.  If only people wouldn't sell the price would go up!.... (or maybe people think this rally is as good as it gets and the smart money is bailing out).

This damn manipulator is the only thing keeping prices from $7 or $8  >:(

Yes I just rolled my eyes at that as well. It was either the He/She/they/It Manipulator trying to scare people by removing a nice wall of support, or some weakling getting scared even though 5.9 -6.1 essentially appeared to be the bottom for the last 12 hours. It was slowly climbing the last couple hours. Hopefully the market will just plow forward anyway.

This is an obvious pump-and-dump attempt.

While I feel your pain, you give the OP too much credit. Pump and dump?! As if the OP pumped anything into the current price. He said himself he "might buy". Pump and dump indeed. One needs cash before one can pump and one needs coin before one can dump. Troll maybe, market maker... yeah right. As if market makers need to post every $.03 change in price in... where was this originally... the mining forums? Oh joy!

Whew!!!  That was close.  I finally sold my last 3 bitcoins off at 6.20 that I bought at 6.14.  An 11 cent profit after Gox fees, but thankfully I came out without a loss.

Now it looks like it's going to drop.

In the middle of the night another MASSIVE 5000 coin drop. The Manipulator trying... yet again to kill this price confidence at 6? Or weakling?

It is obvious that he is trying to maintain the price at below 6 so he can buy it all slowly...

We just screw that guy, and buy everything, including his 16k BTC wall.

I am sure that this will trigger another exponential rally, and then we will have sufficient profits to repay whatever we got of loan to do that feat (yes, I got loaned money to buy 600 BTC... I cannot get more loan... so now I am counting on you people doing the same).

Possibly.

I'm all for people throwing money at bitcoins.  Just make sure it's money you can afford to lose.

I am sure that this will trigger another exponential rally, and then we will have sufficient profits to repay whatever we got of loan to do that feat (yes, I got loaned money to buy 600 BTC... I cannot get more loan... so now I am counting on you people doing the same).

Bitcoin is a high risk and highly speculative investment.  There are no guarantees.  Where people previously saw guaranteed price rises and returns (based on difficulty increases) some got burned quite badly.

note to self: never make a sell order based on your profit ratio rather than a hypothetical ideal buy  :-\

damn I missed this buying opportunity  :(
