I hope during world cup football the price of bitcoin will increase. It has been started, but I see no effect. It is a big event of the world. Does it not bring any value to bitcoin.

I don't think FIFA 2018 will result in any ups or downs for any cryoto or Bitcoin.

football is a prestigious event that is done five years of course if in association with bitcoin certainly does not affect the price of bitcoin because bitcoin prices in general only determined by sellers and buyers bitcoin.

There's no connections between this world cup and crypto, there will be one day on future when we start to see crypto commercials and crypto advertising on stadium's. It's not cheap to advertise company on world cup, or to be one of official sponsors, some crypto company or some coin will start to invest money in that sector eventually.
Now world cup is for people to watch football and bet on it, big money is in that but fiat money. One day crypto will get into it, but that will not happen this year.

This is a no brainer question! I don't see any connection of Football World Cup 2018 to cryptocurrency! It has no effect in the industry. They are two different fields. There are coins or platform which are about sports but it doesn't mean that the world cup will affect crypto market.

I think that football cup will not affect the price of bitcoin or any other crypto coin. I do not see any connection for this. But probably if there are investors whose bet are crypto coin.

World Cup has absolutely zero effect on Bitcoin's price. Newbies should take as a rule of thumb to never tie any news to Bitcoin's price, unless those news involve Bitcoin directly, like if some important country changes its legal status. Theoretically, some news like signs of upcoming worldwide economic collapse or a big war could affect prices, but we haven't seen anything that big yet, since Bitcoin created after the last global economic crisis.

I don't see why these kind of events could influence crypto in any way.

I believe that FIFA World Cup 2018 will have much effect on crypto market and hopefully this effect will be positive. I thought that it will have a positive impact on bitcoins value but rather what I am expecting is the opposite. The good news brought about by the acceptance of bitcoin by the world cup football 2018 is being stomped by the negative news. The investigations done on the 4 big exchanges and the hacking of a big exchange have more power than the football case. I guess we will just wait and see and hope for bitcoin to recover.

I think it affect especially gambling system in cryptocurrency which the world cup is a great advertising strategy to gain more investors in bitcoin so the value will increase.

I don't think the world cup 2018 will affect the bitcoin. The world cup 2018 allows to people to buy their tickets by using bitcoins. and there are people who is trying to gamble their bitcoins to choose who will gonna win this game. It's like they are also promoting bitcoins by purchasing the tickets.

There is a indirect connection  between Bitcoin and World Cup. People are betting and the most convenient method of payment to the site even if it is having fiat is cryptocurrency. I xan say this because many of my friends have started enquiring about Bitcoin and how to use it.

If they make some purchases in bitcoin or another crypto currency, this will not affect its course in any way. Therefore, the expectations of some people for the growth of the crypto currency in this period could not be justified. Been giving this a lot of thought lately and also was curious about the correlation of the World Cup and Bitcoin transaction fees.
It seems that, at least for the past few days, that transaction fees have been much higher just before and even during World Cup matches.

FIFA do boost the betting platform. Sports betting isn't legal in many countries. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, thus, pave a way for people to get involved in sports betting anonymously. According to me, cryptocurrencies have a huge marketplace in betting ecosystem. But I don't think that this is going to bring any price appreciation in a $300 Billion market. Betting might constitute only a few millions which would be less than a 1%.

World cup probably doesn't have any impact on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Why are you always asking such question when there is a big event happening? There are many websites which allows you to bet using cryptocurrencies so I doubt that investors are cashing out in order to bet on football matches using fiat. Fiat betting websites might be more reliable but there are also some trustful crypto ones.

The world Cup is of course a Grand and significant event. But only in the history of football. This event cannot affect the cryptocurrency market and the market of all other currencies too. Maybe this will affect the raising of the authority of the crypto currency but not the price of the crypto currency. I hope there is an effect on the crypto market particularly for bitcoin. In the event where tickets will be sold using the btc currency, then it may have an effect on it but probably not that big enough that it could drastically increase the value of btc within that world cup dates.

I don't think FIFA will have any effect on bitcoins it'll be interesting to see if it does but honestly I don't see any correlation between the two. There was a news earlier that Russia would allow bitcoins and it would help it scale it up but I don't think it happened so let's see, if any one going to Russia take a poster of bitcoins and try and spread the word who knows we may just benefit.
