The 2 pilots were parachuting down when they were shot and killed in mid-air.

There will be no war of Russia with NATO, even when Russia starts annexing the Baltic countries. Such war is likely to grow into a full-scale nuclear war, which means that everyone will lose. Putin is going to sell them arms if they work with him in some way on policy of some sort. This is how geopolitics works,no country is just going to sell missiles for nothing -- they're going to do it to get a upper hand on a country and to cash in a favor. I'm not really up to date on the current politics of the two countries, but there must be something that putin wants from Turkey that can help him out in some way.
