The goal of the site is to use data to sketch out modern life, to shed light on who we are and how we live, and to underscore where we’re making progress—and falling short—as a society.
The media world is in an exciting but also terrifying phase where a big open question is financial viability as online ad rates plummet. I think one answer may be in the form of bitcoin.
