Title: A Life Where Everything is in Crypto - think peer to peer
Post by: worldtraveller321 on June 18, 2018, 10:54:40 AM
This could be lots of fun. Think of Bitcoin or even any other crypto. If most of society were to switch all Fiat over and into Bitcoin or another crypto. Thinking on the Peer to Peer aspects.

Tell 4 to 5 things on how life be different if all went to a decentralized Peer to Peer currency.

talk about the impact on education? crime? family life? how each community is governed? poverty? wealth? environment? or if you wish write this out as a small paragraph even as a life for people in a decentralized society of peer to peer payments?

could be a fun vision? look forward to hear all your minds work.

If we all use crypto money in all aspects, I think the difference will be felt in everyday life and it also feels weird if all is not used, and this will be very influential in all things.

I wouldn't actually like such a system.

decentralization is great, but there are actually perks to having centralized solutions, too.
(Not necessarily talking about governments, so put the shotguns down.  :D)

Corporations create marvelous work, and yet none are decentralized. We would be throwing the majority of progress as a civilization, if we lost those.
If everything was peer to peer, we would also lose all current "meeting places", that many of us have.

How do moderators work in a "decentralized" forum? Do we vote?

With most of these solutions, we end up with total democracy.
The second worst form of government. :)

I don't want that future. I want a future with voluntary participation in larger collectives.
There is nothing wrong with a voluntary agreement to follow the rules someone else makes.
Unification is a beautiful thing. Forced unification is the thing that crypto helps us avoid.

Come on! What are we doing your homework for you?
This sounds like the format for every school assignment I've ever seen.

I also hope it will happen and all fiat can be replaced by bitcoin, and it will be easy to transact in the trade of goods and services for the whole world.

The essence of crypto is peer to peer. It creates a flat world.

I don't think that fiat money could be totally replaced by crypto-currencies any time soon. But in the long run, sure, why wouldn't it be possible. And in the meantime, they could happily coexists together.

In a broader sense (not in the context of crypto-currency) using Blockchain technology can revolutionize many aspects of our society, including healthcare, digital records, the copyright sphere, storage, an other areas. But I would like to see the blockchain technology implemented and used in the election system. It could provide transparency and totally eliminate fraud. Voting on the blockchain could help prevent government manipulation, which often happens even if the society is perceived or declared as democratic. And as an additional benefit, the voters could vote remotely. IMO, voting is something that determines our lives to a great extent, and there shouldn't be even a shred of doubt that it hasn't been fair or transparent.

When everything is decentralized, I think the government will also be eliminated. Because everyone will demand a democratic system which means peer-to-peer.
Decentralization in terms of treatment, or finance may still have a positive impact but if used for the education system, I think it will not work properly, the students need supervision and control of the computer alone will not be enough to overcome the stubbornness of the children.
For payment, I do not think it's necessary to use any kind of altcoin. Bitcoin has many advantages and I think that's enough. Using all types of altcoin for payment will only confuse the layman.

If our life revolves on cryptocurrency as the primary foundation of finance then payment system will be very easy. We no longer go to the bank, or to any establishments to pay. We just need our computer and our mobile phone to pay our bills, debts, tuition, payment for services and many more. Payment system will be on a new level.

This is actually the dream and aspirations of the founding fathers of Blockchain, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I also believe this will happen one day when everything will be crypto with P2P transactions all over.

This sounds like the format for every school assignment I've ever seen.
It does sound like a question from an assignment asking for an essay but I wonder though, are there any schools that ask the same question in their student's assignment or seatwork? I would love to hear about them if there were any.

That would really be great if someone was able to find a way to use blockchain technology in the election system. It would also eliminate the hassle of falling in line on voting precincts but I think politicians will still find a loophole for cheating it.

They'll definitely find loopholes. Trusted people will go to the apartments from the candidates and watch how the person votes online. The voices will buy. It seems to me that the bulk of manipulations in the elections takes place far from the polling stations. There is nothing 100% secure on the Internet right now. The power that does not want to leave can use transit servers, etc.

That would not be easy to achieve because the battle still going on against bitcoin & other cryptos from government official and big institutions , i think second generation will  reach a stage where to buy using bitcoin for cup of coffee .

Then we can called peer to peer for daily life consummation . Third parties out :-\

this will be both profitable and detrimental and we need to know the benefits will be gained by the state that regulates bitcoin and the losses will be in the can by the bank in the interest of the bank will be reduced because bitcoin does not require the bank to save money

For me, the life where everything is in crypto is very fun. Imagine you can buy things and you pay using bitcoin and you can pay without effort because bitcoin will change the payment system. But not all is fun, there are some dis advantages if everything is in crypto.
