There are many people (mostly new to crypto trading) seen here regretting buying coins that are recommended by forum members.
Anyone new to this market should learn trading first before investing major portion of his capital. Take advice but do your own research before buying any coin as no one will share your loss.
Keep in mind that if you are seeking advice here, you will be recommended by coins that are bought by members or they have some interest in it. So please don't follow blindly to every advice, take care of your hard earned money.

Other members' advices should never fully trusted but even if you make investment decisions yourself, you will probably regret not taking others' advices :)

Don't invest into coins that are just shilled in 4chan or any other place without doing proper research.Most of the times it will be for personal gains.Take the name of the coin and DYOR and then decide to invest or not.

and the most dangerous is the recommendation coin from people who are in FOMO condition, buying coins without doing research is a big mistake because there are many people recommend Hype coins even Shitcoins.

In my opinion, the best choice if you want to invest money is studying well the project on your own and get an idea without being influenced by other people interests or external factors. Don't have the goal to chase only money in this market. That's a wrong starting! Choose well and hope for a bright future!

I agree with you, because some suggestions here will not necessarily lead us to profit. at least research must be done because no one knows the direction of market movement next time.

In my case i always do my own research before buying a coin and its my choive and not others choice, i will not regret or blame anybody  cause its my choice picking up that coin.  Always do a simple research and dont be carried away by rumors.

Well, that's a good strategy. If you buy the coin of your own choice you won't regret at a later stage and this is also best way to learn trading. You make choices, either you win or learn something new.

I have always been advocating to do your own research, analyse each project/coin fully with all aspects and angles before investing your hard earned money, even though we have tried to spread this awareness among the community, sadly still we see people get attracted to the pump and dump shitcoins and loose their money in the end.

I agree with you that it is not necessary to blindly follow the advice found in this forum. But actually I would like to get more useful advice from the forum participants, and not just spam about everything just to get Activity.

Never trust anyone's advice. Always do your own research before investing.

Yes, well written. People will lose until they can finnaly understand that 95% of altcoins are crated to gather more btc or ether. Not emotionally attaching yourself to some project or token is the key, to be able to execute the trade, and have good money management

We may listen to their advice specially if they have the experience that we need but still its our final say if we will follow their suggestion or not so better to review and double check the investments before joining it so that no one will be blame but only ourselves. Our judgement will always depend on us.

it would be nice if we look at some trusted sites about the best coin sequence if the advice of your friends is in the best order why not to follow it maybe you can be lucky there.

It's the fault of gullible new investors to hear and take those suggestion of shills.

Taking your own time by doing some research of that certain coin you've heard or suggested by someone isn't painful.

Well, I will not regret following the advice of the others only if I also make time to analyze their suggestions. It should not be trusted but of course you can still follow them just make sure you know the risk of that decision. It still better if you know how to trade and invest properly, don't just follow the hype coins or you may lose your money.

Yes, I agree with you as it is a very good advice for anybody who wants to take decisions about a coin or project. It is very good to do your own research and be sure of what your want to do before you do it. Yes, you can seek for suggestions, but it is good to do your findings.

Why in the first place would you buy coins you dont know about and believe on other peoples advices when you also barely know them? I wouldn’t buy some coin just because a forum member said so, I’d rather check out that certain coin and do my own research to see if it is worth investing.

I do think that most people give genuine advice. The problem is that everyone has their own favourite coins, and will recommend them. And often the reason that a coin is someone's favourite is that the price has gone up whilst they have held it. And obviously if a coin has risen substantially in the past, that is not a reliable indicator that it will rise again in future, or that now is a good time to buy in.

It does always come down to DYOR.

You must have your own choice and for the recommendation of others you should consider it. And do some research to see if the coin you want to buy is good or not.

This is normal, I have encountered. When I first entered this circle, this friend asked me to buy one, and now I lost half. It also lost money. It is listening to other people's rumors.

Personally i only tend to invest in coins that i would USE once their roadmaps are complete, so they have a value to me personally beyond just financially.

We should take care of your hard earned money.Because it was not came by free .If you like to inverse in cryptocurrency,you have to deep analysis of certain coin.Mainly you have to check the price chart of that coin over a year or from their origin. It will give you hope to inverse in that coin.

you are very right before investing we have to do our own research because people have different points of view in determining a coin and completely it is not true, all back to yourself in determining the coin you will make investment

Don't depend your decisions from other people most especially from an anonymous person which is most probably shilling or advertising certain coins, most common words buy this X coins and you will get 20x ROI or there would be a buyback from this Y coin so invest to ride the pump, to the moon from this coins buy while it is cheap, consider them but don't depend research the coins from their suggestions and make your own conclusion as to what are you going to buy or not, most of all do your own research to find those hidden cryptos which will be worth a lot in the future.

The thing is you can buy coins suggested by others but you will not know when to exit as nobody is going to tell you that and that is the point where people make loss. Right now, you would have been in loss if you invested anytime before Feb no matter what was your pick because almost all the coins have experienced a dip since then. Therefore, stop blaming others and try figuring out the best entry and exit point available for a coin at that particular phase. You just can't make profit by buying a potential coin, you need to analyze when to exit as well.

Glad that you do able to find out and realize such thing which it is just normal for those informations to fly away on all directions where people would always tend to propose or shill out on the coins that they had already invested it out and once they do get some big investor they would able to sell it out on their holdings yet the price had already being increased and thats a normal system and if you are careless enough then most of the time you would really be fooled out.

Many people also regret not buying coins which are recommend by other members but there is really not a lot of people who can give you good coins now so trying to get coin recommendations in the forum now might be unreliable.

I think that the advices on this forum can be really beneficial sometimes, but on the other hand, in my opinion, you shouldn't make an investment just according to the comments on the forum.

Of course you need to do your own research before buying coin, every one has it's own perspective about the coin feature and some are the member of the developers, so they will suggest the coin that they promote, there are separate opinion about coin so you can't follow people's advice when you want to buy

Of course, that's the common mistake of every newbie in trading, we always have doubt in mind because we knows little than the people who already experience what's best and worst in this society. But we must have to move on, in order to process and learn what do we regret in the past and this will helps us to learn more quickly if we do regret from it, because life's a lesson.

Who are those forum members? those members that are shilling their low-capped and low volume coins, they never did a research before buying those coins.
This is the scenario that isn't happening but those investors that listened to a stranger that who said "buy .... this will pump... it has a future" listened to the wrong guy.

People think that the coin they are holding will be valuable in the future that's why when someone ask them what coin to buy, they would recommend the coin they hold to help others or just to boost the price. Nevertheless it would be to attract other people to buy their coin to have more volume. Many people choose their coin depending on their strategy may it be base on news or technical analysis or just recommendation from other people and the problem with having no basis why they bought it and just listened to others is that they would blame the people who recommended it to them.


Unfortunately, sometimes it is the only way for others to learn because if they wouldn't experience it themselves then they would not listen to the advises. I always encounter the "Do your own research" but who actually do it are the one who was shilled a coin before and lose so they learned their lesson and I am guilty of this one too.

All I could say is that for you to take someone's advice as your financial decision, they must be your financial advisor not just a forum member. Everybody has hidden agenda why they are telling this and that so taking their comments as an financial advice is suicide.

not only coins for investment but also the investment in ICO and choose a bounty. many who prefer to hear other people's opinions even from a higher rank for they follow. but there is, in fact, a high rank does not necessarily have the right options. better analyze himself with his own ability to better understand and learn about the best.

Whenever so called other members gives shill about particular coin or token they always add DYOR=Do Your Own Research or do due diligence from your end. It's best practice to research before any project which we are willing to invest our capital.
