Title: 1 PSU VS 2 PSU Post by: mac-coin on February 04, 2014, 07:58:12 PM I've got 2 mining rigs now
1st 1 has 4 x 7950 gigabyte GPU using a single 1200w PSU The 2nd has 3 x R9 290 sapphire GPU with 1x 850w PSU & 1x 500w PSU There both happily working away after having a bit a trouble getting the dual PSU rig to work, Need to use one of the USB riser get the 3rd card working on the 500w PSU. So My question is, apart from the extra cost of the USB riser's and PSU link cable. 1 decent 1500w PSU cost £300 plus 2 decent 750w PSU cost around £130 What are people views on the 2 options, I can see pro's and cons for both.
