There is a lot of talk about the opportunity of blockchain to change the financial services sector but with the exception of the biggest banks in the US and globally, who are actively exploring the space and trialing use-cases, the vast majority of banks (there are over 6000 banks in the US alone) still do not yet fully understand what blockchain is (something we now plan to address at many of these conferences) and how it can be implemented for use in the financial services sector. It is intended that the Ivy Network will function through the use of a dual network architecture, where senders of Tokens operate on a public network (Ivy Public Network), and parties that provide the financial settlement to fiat currency participate on a private network (Ivy Private Network).

KYC/KYT/AML data supporting transactions will be captured in cryptographic containers that are generated from the Ivy Public Network interaction with the Ivy Network smart contracts and support the activities of the Ivy Private Network participants in facilitating transaction settlement.

This data will be stored and accessible by the financial institution and governing regulators of the fiat balance recipients.

And what about identity in the project?

Sender Identity

Senders will register with the network prior to sending currency. It is assumed by the Ivy Network that recipients are identified by their respective financial institutions and intermediaries as part of establishing an account.

For consensus, it is anticipated that a scheduled byzantine fault tolerant algorithm, such as Istanbul BFT will be used. In this consensus algorithm, each participant creates blocks on a scheduled, round-robin basis and submits its results to the rest of the network, which must vote with a 2/3 majority to approve the leader’s block calculation. There were multiple interesting sessions that addressed Regtech.

It is anticipated that the Ivy Network will use dxChain cryptographic containers to store KYT/KYC/AML data in a date container (Ivy Data Container). The data is collected through the interface of the Ivy application at the time the user submits their request for the transfer of currency. Contents of the Ivy Data Container are intended to include:

- Submitted transaction Details
- Sender identity information (as applicable)
- Supporting documentation and attachments

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) presented a session on the changing face of compliance with AI & blockchain. We had the opportunity to chat with Beth Knickerbocker, the CIO of the OCC who not only recognized that we were from Ivy, she invited us to meet in Washington later this year for further discussion off the back of our meetings with the FDIC, which had some OCC employees in attendance.

Using this format, each component of supporting data is independently and persistently encrypted to secure access at rest and during exchange using standard AES-256 symmetric and 4096 bit RSA asymmetric cryptographic methods, and SHA-384 message digests.

This project is really a promising one. It would be nice to have an alternative way to do transactions which is more secure and anonymous. On the same note, project has integrated the use of IVYA token very smartly. Usually projects issue tokens just for ICO purposes with zero utility in project and later on tokens dump. But same is not the case with IVYA which will make it promising investment for future.
I have one doubt though, I want to know what is the universal applicability of IVY Platform. Like I live in India and here we use INR as currency. So is it possible that other person who live in US sends me USD and I receive INR in my bank? Such service is available on PayPal.

Ivy Github is dead, no commits on any repository since May 2018.   Ivy Bitcointalk is dead, no talk, news or FUD since July 2018.  Ivy marketing is dead or largely ineffective.  Exchanges are not adding Ivy, there's no place to buy it or trade for it.     

From a glance it seem's Ivy itself will be next one to turn up dead.
