Title: 21 Bitcoin Mining Computer_HELP!
Post by: jimjam123 on June 19, 2018, 07:07:03 PM
I was able to get a few of these really cheap and they did not come with their software.
As their network is permentaly down, i was thinking that these miners should be able to run on any BTC mining pool.
With that said, does anyone have any insight into how to do this?

I gave it a shot; however, i was unsuccessful.

Thanks,

I was always after one of these. Wanted to see what it was like, just as a general interest in another part of the bitcoin world.

You know they are completely useless as actual miners right? You basically bought yourself a couple of RPis

I think this is use only for speed up your transaction and its full node too it use to contribute on bitcoin.
If you have this device you can use it to your business to instantly send or receive bitcoin.

I was search the guide in google but I don't see any guides but I think this video might help you out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLwbBojDD_U

Well I didn’t know it was useless, until I bought them. I paid a little more than a raspberry pie  for each so really no big deal. Just want to get some of my young Neices’s and nephews into mining. Thought this would be a cool introduction. I will keep trying, I’m figuring cgminer along with some coding should do the trick. The way I see it is that it’s a few times more powerful than the best USB miners, good for the BTC solo lottery.

I am reading 80-110 gh/s.
Im sure they can be fine-tuned once i hammer out the code.

Okay but at what power draw?

I mean, an S1 is also a few times more powerful than the best USB miners.

The power draw is unknown at this point as i haven't been successful in mining with it yet.
As soon as i get it going, i will post this info.
