Over here, notaries are like companies controlled by a few very rich guys, who make money on inefficiency and make people to do things over there in person (physically) at a very expensive costs. The Mudamos project (a project who uses our engine for identity, signing and registering), already has more than a million signatures on public petitions and many cities already accept this kind of signature because: 1) we really identify who is signing an official petition and 2) it is very very difficult to fraud a signature. Before that, they needed to validate millions of signatures on paper and the government never could manage that. We have a partnership with one notary, who recognizes the (public) blockchain as a immutable, auditable, verifiable and secure storage for registering things. Then we co-created some features and brazilians don't need to go anymore to a notary to get a document stamped. Another feature is certifying web content: we created a plugin for chrome browser for collecting what you see on the browser and it delivers a report to be attached to the case in the court (which could be authenticated by a notary, too). It is being used for collecting fake news (this year we will have presidential elections). Before that, you needed to go in person to a notary office and pay normally thousands of money to do that. With a partnership with Profitfy.trade, we implemented the Blockchain ID as a login for the exchange. People get the account verified very fast and can login an buy crypto on something about 6 seconds. That are kind of examples of what we are already doing over here, since 2015.
