-Preamble

As blockchain technologies are becoming more popular everyday the acceptance of its value and use it is getting stronger. Mineable cryptocurrencies are a big portion of this new ecosystem. Cryptocurrencies mining is such an expensive an energy consuming process. As mining difficulty increases, more powerful equipments are needed in order to mine coins, making energy consumption increase. At SunCoin community currency we believe this unsustainable:

- Cryptocurrencies are being mined without considering energy consumption in terms of environmental impact.
- Unbalanced cost of energy throughout the world makes mining companies to concentrate in cheapest areas.
- Energy power must be available to anyone regarding of where they live.


Our main purpose is to build a solid community that contributes with cryptocurrency projects that reduce environmental impact or at least are sustainable. By using renewable sources of energy that could be accomplished. It is just a matter of dedication and innovation that we can prove our mission to be right. Let us work all together and help return all that energy where it is really needed.

Of course this will not be accomplished in the short term, but cannot forget we have to encourage all the community to make our planet sustainable and contributing with a clean and sustainable blockchain network will be a true step forward.



-What's Suncoin Network?

Suncoin Network is a community of people committed to build the first renewable energy sustained blockchain network. Still in early stage, SunCoin community will work towards providing a blockchain that includes smart contracts that will comply with +90% renewable energy consumption.

Suncoin ($SUN) will be the common currency of these projects as it will be used in payment of services, purchase of products related to renewable energies and ecological self-supply equipment.


-Community focused

Suncoin network is a community based cryptocurrency. We are working hard in a governance system that lets the community which ideas/projects are the best to accomplish as the project evolves. All information is communicated and available in our community channels.


-Masternodes

As a proof-of-stake (PoS) currency SunCoin makes it possible to get staking rewards by owning masternodes. Once governance will be available, masternodes will be responsible for voting and select for initiatives.


-Mining

Whilst $SUN is a mineable coin at this early stage Suncoin Network's main objective is to swap a stable and secure network maintained only by PoS (proof-of-stake) masternodes which certify the consumption of renewable energy with a minimum +90% certificate.


-Decentralized network

We are working on creating an easy and understandable system for everyone to propose and participate in decisions made at SunCoin Community, with $SUN being the currency that will fuel these governance system.

The community around this project is pretty interesting. One of the members is already running a sun powered masternode.

SUNCOIN does have a good concept for the future of cryptocurrency.
To change or reduce the amount of energy needed to do a mining is something that really crucial for the future of cryptocurrency.

That's where we're going with this.

The main idea is to certify a use of renewable energies in +90% of the use of the blockchain itself.

In addition to being an asset of use in the acquisition of goods and related services.

We've now got a masternode script up and running, SUN masternode installs are now quick and flawless.

Project fundamentals look great, idea is genuine. Still a low cap gem with great potential! Just filled my buy orders to setup my first MN. Thinking on this as a long term project!

Project by governance and with a specific objective? You may not have time to look for more of the same, but I still wish you would see our white paper or community to see what our project is all about. 

The main difference is that we are not a token ico , we are a dash network with technological and solidarity objectives.

Innovative projects always require large communities to achieve missions, and seeing from the concept of renewable energy utilization is a difficult thing to do in a short time, therefore the greater the development of the community, the faster the time needed for development, very good for focusing in the community

By using 90% of energy that comes from renewable energy should be able to keep the environment safe while still be able to mine some coins at maximum capacity.
It could give advantage on both side.

This is a great step for the environment. Hopefully more mining companies will follow suit. Can I ask what renewable sources you will be using if you know yet?

You mentioned energy availability being an issue, depending upon where someone lives, are there any plans in the future of the project to address this issue?
This project definitely shows potential and I'll be keeping close track on it.

We currently make use of a dedicated server on which we host a node, the web and the basic services of suncoin. This host is certified to use 100% renewable energy "Kualo".

In the first steps towards the use of more renewable energy "Points" in our network, we are preparing a process of awarding prizes to nodes that are hosted in systems powered by 100% renewable energy, as well as small mining farms with solar power.

In the white paper you can see the short and long term objectives such as the management of an ecosystem where sun would be an asset for the purchase of services and products related to the use of renewable energy.

Good idea, an interesting community, a community committed to building the first blockchain maintenance network.

If the future plan is a charity and project fund for these cases, they will be managed by masternode owners who are involved in the project.

The Suncoin project aims to be decentralised ,but there will always be a group of users dedicated to the main objectives  90% of the use of renewable energies and above all the rest of the point ,to help in areas where it is necessary and to make projects around these objectives.

Without forgetting also the attempt to create SUN an asset in the purchase of services and products for renewable energy.

This project was rescued by the community and during almost 3 months we continued to grow gradually, achieving that the price has not become an interest and has not been maintained, neither overspeculation nor unstoppable fall in value.   

My personal assessment is that this community is being created that can make this possible.

The bounty is not to join in, the situation is that right now Discord is the community center for the community.  There are all available bouncers on display and this way we make people come in and make contact with the rest of the members and see the conversation and evolution.

On the whitepaper it says that it willl be updated before the first fund, how is the process going?

A new version of the whitepaper is being edited with all the updated information, in it will be shown in detail the processes and actions that we will put in place to achieve the objectives of the project.

The first Aurora Fund will start on September 13.
We are planning to launch this new version on September 10, where we will also show the functioning of the aurora system.

Where can I see the latest news of the project?

We are working on this aspect from the community to establish some objectives and procedures for it, these will be published from day 11-s with the new revision of the WhitePaper.

At the moment of retaking the community the first part of the wp was launched (very basic) trying to show the objectives of the new project to make the community grow, after all this time we have more clear the acutaciones and way to achieve it and will be reflected in the next version of the WP.
