The more people who try to mine as soon as a new coin is launched, the higher the difficulty will be minutes after launch. This lowers the number of coins that each person will get, etc...

Pay attention only to those currencies that have the higher number of posts in dedicated thread (hype is what your are looking for). 3. An hour before the official start, prepare your miner and if you lack the power, rent 5 cloud servers x 32 CPUs each (1000khash = $7 per hour). 4. Mine new coin for the first hour, and when you have millions, sell it to latecomers. 5. I just bought 5.5 vertcoin hope I am not too late for the gravy train.

After 1,5 month my stock is worth $6 5000 ;D If you are investing $10 for 1 hour of mining crapcoins with 1 mhash/s then obviously you are doing it wrong 8) If you are smart enough then you can mine coins which have the greatest chances of success.
