A lot of my fb friends complaining on their posts that their twitter accounts got suspended, and we suspect that it becomes suspended because of the hashtag #ICO on their posts ? What do you think guys ?
This matter is important because it can affect the bounty participants in some instances.

Afaik twitter has announced if they will ban cryptocurrency from them and it has been around some months ago. Facebook and google also said that

Infact, google said it too and soon implemented ban on cryptpcurrency ads being displayed on front page but google surely have missed lots of income by doing this. Similarly twitter and facebook might lost traffic of they implement ban because most visitors have nothing to do on twiiter other than to find earning resources into crypto

My opinion - if this ban was introduced, then the official accents of companies that ico will be affected first of all. Twitter blocks "waves" for various violations. To find out the reason for the blockage, you need to write to the support, they respond within a few days

As you know, after Facebook and Google rule which prohibited ICO martketing advertisement, twitter has announced the illegal when talking about cryptocurrency. Hence, your TW account may block or suspended if you cross the rule. Lets change bounty campaign such as: arcticle or video to get rewards.

I do not understand why they banned the promotion of ICO on Twitter. This affects the development of the project and the bounty hunter.

lets hope for the best thing to happen, i know that i am late on the bounty party where a lot of participants last year really getting big amounts.

Haven't happen to me yet, I only get suspended because of multiple tweets and follows in short period of time

Read rules twitter there is no info about crypto.They ban they want.I go to police with my twitter.

Because, they don´t receive nothing from that. Plus, it became really annoying all that ICO spams from fake twitter accounts with fake followers.
I agree with twitter decision - it become to much. Twitter not supposed to be spam platform. I vote for twitter without spam  ;)

Do not worry if facebook and twitter ban your account because of promoting icos. There are many other social media channels to promote icos.

yes brother, some of my friends twitter accounts has been banned yesterday. i think when we promote most of scam project they will ban other accounts. because most of projets are scam, then twitter will noticed that and deleted all tweets which campatible to that project. so if you promote that project rapidly twitter will ban your account

I have never experienced anything like it before, I think the ICO ban on twitter will never happen, I've been hearing about it for so long, but until now it still does not apply

Facebook and Twitter have declared war on ICO projects. However, they did not stop making money on this.

They sometimes block accounts to show what kind of noble businessmen they are

FB and Twitter may ban crypto adds but can't ban your posts except they are spotting the posts as spam if you post frequently. You should make 1 post in an hour then you won't have any problem.

Are your friends sure that their twitter accounts are banned/suspended because of it's correlation to ICOs on their post? if that is so then most of the twitter accounts that are inspired to participate bounties must be banned too.

Maybe your friends broke a rule from twitter's TOS so ask them and take a review not just assume that they got banned due to posting ICO related things.

Then find another way or stop joining twitter bounties.

I don't think your friend accounts banned because of posting or tweet about cryptocurrency cause I'm still posting on Facebook and Twitter about cryptocurrency but seem like my account still work fine. Maybe your friend accounts broke rule of Facebook and Twitter so their account suspended but not because of cryptocurrency and ICO :)

note also when searching on Google it is very difficult to find the necessary information about ICO.We have to look in other search engines.In the news feed recently read that these prohibitions are due to the fact that Google creates its own cryptocurrency.This news is not confirmed but also not refuted

I have experienced of suspending my twitter account but it was due massive activities such as following a lot of twitter users and as well as twitting too much that over to the twitter rules. I think that's what happend to your friend's account too. To be able to avoid getting suspended or banned try to control or atleast minimize posting ICO related posts.

Yesterday was such a problem,i open a Twitter there inscription: Your account is temporarily blocked,because of the automatic actions.You need to pass CAPTCHA.Captcha passed and the account was restored,immediately made twitteraudit and fake accounts became 0.Probably cleaning bots.

these ban against cryptos are ridiculous!

these same corporations have valid concern with regard to liability: “The SEC regulation around cryptocurrency has been somewhat unclear in an ever-evolving landscape, so, by allowing cryptocurrency advertisements, they might be opening themselves up to legal liability without necessarily knowing it.” and the main purpose of Google’s ban could be to protect investors without harming those already currently involved in the industry for the sake of positive development of the blockchain technology business ecosystem as a whole.

My account got suspended from twitter since yesterday and i was sending appeals form but still no response from twitter. Yeah maybe its my bad luck and still waiting response from twitter about a reason got suspended.

One of possible reason I guess, twitter might follow what google and fb did, there's reason about it lets wait and see reliable sources, bounty hunters will be very affected of this certain moves coming from twitter if this type of actions are strictly implemented, also, maybe some concerned people request this maybe they've seen enough and they've wanted to make twitter a place just like before.

Some time ago, when I participated in many bounty campaigns, a temporary account lockout was every day. But now everything is in order, perhaps the main thing is not to exceed some day limit on the same type of actions.

Still there is no official announcement about ban of ico related ads from twitter or Google or any other social media may be it will happen in future so let's wait for time to come than we will know about ban ico related ads from  social media.

It has not happened to me yet but I heard about it some months ago and I even saw a couple of pages from companies that were closed but eventually they were unblocked on fb.

Yes, I was wondering the same. I did look at Twitters terms. It could be because Twitter deems bounty hunters tweets/retweets as spam.

"Spam is generally defined on Twitter as bulk or aggressive activity that attempts to manipulate or disrupt Twitter or the experience of users on Twitter to drive traffic or attention to unrelated accounts, products, services, or initiatives."

Another reason:
"if you have followed and/or unfollowed a large number of of accounts in a short time period, particularly by automated means (aggressive following or follower churn);
if your Tweets or Direct Messages consist mainly of links shared without commentary;"

I did read an article last month where it stated that twitter will be banning accounts that advertise for ICOs. I wouldn't blame twitter for this. The amount of scams taking place through ICO has increased tremendously and this forced twitter to take steps against them as those scams might highly damage their reputation. Its not only twitter, even google and facebook did make a same announcement.

Not yet, i also have a twitter account and following scidex for last 3 months. I don't face any problem.

I don't think twitter is banning ICO/Crypto related accounts.But twitter do ban any account that promotes/engaged in spamming.
May be your friends are spamming twitter  with airdrop/bounty related posts

You are correct but they will be looking to lock the featured and fake accounts only. Not the all accounts will be banned hence even you do not worry about it.
I see this problem two months ago. Most of the social website and elsewhere you will be find the ICO related ads get banned that time.

Thats the reason Since the countries regulated and hacking issue with the bitcoin made the corporate feel fear on them.

As far as I know, twitter and facebook are no longer allowed to advertise crypto money. even the amazing manager said that now facebook and twitter bounty will not start. may be connected. Unfortunately if it continues like this, there will be no bounty over social media. I would recommend reddit and linkedl account development and account development.

Agree with that, I still see loads of twitter crypto accounts out there.  The ones that got banned are probably misusing their accounts. 
Not sure about google advert,  but their youtube videos are filled with crypto adverts I can say :D

With my account so far everything is in order and it is not blocked. But now I do not participate in bounty campaigns on social networks and therefore do little retweets. If I did 100 retweets a day, as before, then I would be definitely blocked))

I an very concerned of this massive banning. a couple facebook friends has posted that their twitter got banned for no reason, or warning.

Yes, my two accounts are suspended by twitter because of hastag #ICO. And Twitter & Facbook also suspend new ICO company API account. Yes its can affect on our bounty and airdrops programs. 

I have read the policy but there is no policy that crypto related stuff will be prohibited. Maybe they been suspended or banned because of the misuse of their accounts.

Twitter has said they banned ICO related PAID ads but I don't know with these bounty posts.

No other people complain about their twitter account got banned by just posting an ICO/crypto related posts.

I think that such a rule will affect the bounty quest and increase the developer's workload for the bounty quest. For bounty hunters, I have not yet panicked and may only perform tasks in accordance with the bounty rules. Others do not have to worry about.

I heard information about bans, that they are not always connected with crypto related tweets. Some not crypto-related accounts were banned either. Possible reason is spam, where a lot of tweets do not receive even 1% of engagement.

If you fill up with retweets 30 pcs a day, of course they will block. There are a lot of spam in Twitter on messages, many tweets are not useful.

Oh, I guess that's what also happened to me. I have a twitter account dedicated solely to cryptocurrencies. Most of my posts are there, I guess, but I remember making a post about on cryptocurrency project which was planning to use blockchain to detect some small insects on bees or something. Anyway, the project was really different from the usual ones, so I made a post and some crypto news twitter blog even made a retweet. I recently wanted to check out that project and went on my twitter page to find the name of it, but found out instead that the post just disappeared. I don't know why it happened, and I think I didn't get banned for that, but it was sad to me that twitter even has the right of doing such things. I mean, I read about the cases when twitter bans some posts, but they are related to pornography or  violence. I just made a nice post on a new way of using blockchain...

If my own opinion if we suspend your account better direct our pm same bounty just his manager directly to get on clarification directly

Yes its been happening for a while now and to be fair to them they did announce that they would be doing this a few months back.
My account had been blocked for a bout a month or so before i got full control of it back a few weeks ago.
Again the same thing has also been happening with facebook and medium.

I think this is issue is become more common with a lot more people facing this issue simply by posting about cryptocurrency and not just ICOs. I, too, have been banned and had to complain to twitter to get my account reinstated. The process could take up to a few days to even a month.

Maybe your friends have violated some of the rules and used their accounts for unusual activities. I've never encountered being banned for promoting an ICO in Twitter so far.

Twitter and Facebook aren't the only ways of promoting ICO's and thankfully so. My accounts haven't been banned yet and this is largely because I'm not heavy on twitter and facebook bounties. But should it be a total ban, bounty hunters will always find alternative means to promote ICO's.

I have heared about the banning in Twitter accounts with tweets about ICO, but I see lots of accounts that make tweets connecting with such topics with no problem. And I do different tweets about projects as well. So I understand you are surprised to hear about something like this. But imagine the amount of Twitter users - too much. Even the very good and fast system can not catch everyone at the same time for making tweets like this. Just like the situation with Medium platform - lots of participants also have been banned but not at once - just step by step. It may be the same. Hope such a situiation will not be for too long - I mean all the restrictions.

About this news it was writen for 2-3 months. Twitter banned direct advertising of ICO, but it wasn't talk about banning accounts that promote ICO. Nevertheless, many bounty hunters received ban without the right to restore accounts. Interestingly, people have 20k + subscribers and accounts older than 2 years. People say it's recommended to avoid hashtaging ICO if possible, not to posting links and periodically to write about another things than ICO

Yep. It's true :). There are no ICO project can create ads on Twitter or Facebook anymore but it's not mean that every Twitter account related to cryptocurrency or ICO also banned. If it's true, so why I still can use my Twitter account as usual so I think OP is not true :).

I think it's not because of the hashtag #ICO they use, because I also always use in my posts. may be they blocked because it is considered spam and too often post links referral airdrop

I every day always promote ICO projects through Facebook and Twitter by posting, sharing lots of posts and some hashtags of cryptocurrency. Until now there is no problem with what I do, all still I can do until now.

There may be some actions you take to make your account restricted.

But we can see a lot of fake giveaways from fake accounts and Twitter say that does not against their rules.

and they explain it by the fact that they want to protect us from scams project, but it seems to me that this is not true, everyone has their own benefit.

Don't panic. I think that there will be other ways to make money on bounty campaigns.

I'm still using the #ICO tag and so far I have not faced any problem. But if Twitter is going to ban the accounts that use #ICO tag then we have to be careful. Even if the Twitter restrict posting ICO related posts then we have other ways to join the campaigns like content creation.

My account is often temporarily stopped.
Then recover by mobile authentication.

Apparently, when we posted the same sentences and tags in succession, we often stop, so it seems probably was mistaken for BOT.

Incidentally, the account that was frozen, not the stop, is still frozen. I do not know the reason for this.

For twitter banning the ICO related account would not help the situation, because the traffic generated by ICO project could no be over emphasized including the amount generated from advertisement, would enable  the authority to think twice and lift ban on the accounts.

this is old news, there is nothing to worry about.
I am sure this issue is only to make panic and the fact is not as bad as they say. Twitter is still convenient to spread the word about ICO and other crypto products.

I still use twitter to present ICO projects and new normal coins and no difference from twitter. I hope this information is inaccurate because if it is true then it is a bad signal for cryptocurrency.

Twitter is a big social media and very effective for crypto advertising and learning. Suspension of Twitter accounts relates to the rules they make starting from spaming content, adding unreal followers and many more suspend account cases

I believe the infornation was true back then in March, twitter indeed was banning crypto related accounts but people didn't read the full story.  “Social media giant Twitter appears to be cracking down on cryptocurrency scam accounts – but several members of the crypto Twitter community have been caught in the fray.” Thr point was to reduce scammers not legit users on twitter.

The ban had been relaxed lately and twitter account owner need to be courteous with contents of there posts.

maybe not because of the hashtag, but it could be because you add too many followers or retweet from another account because I  have never been banned by twitter because of this hashtag. or maybe other tips are to secure the account with an active telephone number

Facebook and Google has banned ICO related advertisement. Facebook also suspended huge amounts of Facebook accounts related to cryptocurrency. Recently Google has been starting showing ICO related advertisement. I haven't found any news about twitter bann on cryptocurrency.
