Well both are good as long term investment but I think the wise and useful choice will surely be bitcoin only. yeah, surely people will prioritize bitcoin, but I just think if both combined will result in multiple profits. remember, do not pull all your eggs in one basket, if you want a lot of profit.

I fancy more ETH but I know that BTC and ETH are different things because BTC is a cryptocurrency and ETH is a coin and it is essential and there are a lot of other differences which are not interesting to discuss now because they are mostly technicals.
Many analysts consider that ETH will replace BTC but I do not think so. Some time ago I had a dilemma what to choose between BTC or ETH. I chose ETH but some time late I added BTC to my portfolio. I consider that BTC is also interesting for an investment especially on the current low prices.

Honestly I believe Ethereum more then to Bitcoin. Also I think in one day it will replace Bitcoin. In the current situation I expect that, we Ethereum can drop to $250 and after such hard drop it will update ATH next year.

This two coin keeps on dumping but of course we know how great this two coins. This will just depend on the risk that you can take, trading with bitcoin is quiet good because of its volatilty right now but I still preferred to hold, eth also a good option for holding coins.

Both coins are good to invest, if you have knowledge in trading then you can trade also. But now the market is in downtrend, so you can use this chance to invest in bitcoin.  Because bitcoin has more growth than Ethereum, now the price is very cheap so you can buy this coin and hold it instead of selling. Once the price will become very high at that time you can sell and gain profit.

Well if the person has the objective to make trade to increase more btc then can make trade of BTC - ETH, although this can be very risky because bitcoin sometimes falls and ETH also falls a lot and the person gets less BTC. But if the person is trading USD - ETH then it is a good option to make a lot money

I'll check out the podcast later on, haven't really heard too many crypto podcasts, will let you know my thoughts on it. As for me I'm firmly supporter of ETH at the moment, really been studying it recently and just seems to have so much potential. BTC I will always hold though, not sure of its future but have a strong feeling it'll push 20k USD sometime soon or next year.

What if these prices do not go up till the end of Q2 2018, or better still the beginning of Q1 2019? In my humble opinion the greatest virtue a cryptocurrency trader/investor would have is patience because the market could go so bearish as it is evident throughout the first quarter of 2018. This solely points out that weather you are experienced or not all trading transactions on the cryptocurrency sphere has being halted with the major activities being focused on bounty and ICOs.

I think before. When the market goes up, then everyone will start investing again in the Crypto currency. Whenever a person comes to the market, he first buys a bitcoin. And then he starts to figure out what it is. As it was in December 2017. The volatility is big and move the price in the right direction is very simple for a large holder.

In my opinion, take them all. Bat you will bring profit in the long term, I'm sure that bitcoin will rise soon. And Ethereum will not disappoint you. The main thing is to monitor the market.

It should be as the expectation with btc is high for 2018 and now already 6 months have passed and it was only a down market so renaming 6 months it has to boost it so that people who had bad first semi annual can make up in the last 6 months of the year.

Ethereum is good but bitcoin is better for me and it will always be perfect to invest in bitcoin. Ethereum is one of the most good token in this generation because almost all of the ALTCOINS are based on it but we should also consider that if bitcoin disappear all of the ALT's will go down also.

BTC and ETH are the best coins to invest. You can trust in these coins. No worries on it as the current situation can be used to buy more coins then expecting profits out of what you have invested so far. Do not sell off coins what you have. Just hold back the coins you have and invest into more coins. Gather as many coins with cheapest rates. One or the other coin would certainly yield profits in the future not so far.

If you are supporting ETH at this moment then it is your own thinking about crypto but we much as I think now a  day bitcoin is best currency to buy, ETH is not having much potential than bitcoin, it has been using in past but now only bitcoin is at demand to be bought and hold, almost 80% of countries are switching to bitcoin and holding it, because bitcoin is 100 times better and more profitable than ETH and all other altcoins.

With so many questions for OP its best to quit cryptocurrencies. He could see all this questions asked million times before and if he doesn`t have answer in his head by now, any further advice given to him is in vain.
Maybe he should settle with doge, or some other low value coin that he can buy with some funny amount and simply have fun in cryptoworld, maybe after that fun he will be able to understand crypto more then now, and with understanding he will know what he needs to do, not to ask others.

In general, it is true that there are many fields of cryptocurrencies but everything is related to what you want exactly (goal), for example, if you have enough time, then you can start the field of trading, especially when you have an acceptable knowledge in crypocurrencies or the market and it is sure that trading is a good choice in order to earn a big profit of money particularly when you behave well. In fact, the selection of investment, buying, selling and even holding, is dependent on how to deal with every new event with a smart way.

The point in my mind now is the difficulty of making transfers between the two currencies, especially after ShapeShift problem.
The reason for the rise in the price of the Bitcoin was that it was easy to use as a broker to get all the currencies.
Now it may lose part of its value to ETH due to the ICOs & Tokens.

Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency coin, and ethereum is also a queen, because they are the most two powerful coins inbcryptocurrency business, and trading, investing, buying and selling of bitcoin and ethereum are the natural way in order to make cryptocurrency business become successful, and without that cryptocurrency business will fails. And we all know that many people benifited because of the good management system on cryptocurrency business.

For me I like both. The Bitcoin and Ethereum are both good to invest, they are also good for trading. You can also do buy and sell. the both are good investment. They are the top 2, the top 1 is the Bitcoin and the top 2 is the Ethereum. Both of the coin give you good profit. You can buy hodl and trade. In investing bitcoin and ethereum you should study it first if it is your first time to invest and you  should put in mind when investing in bitcoin and etherum you should not invest what you cannot afford to lose. There is a right time to buy. it is when the value of the bitcoin is dump and sell it when the bitcoin is at pump. when you buy it at dump price you have to hodl it for a good profit.

There are lots of traders that are making profit during selling and buying/up and down prices. Trading is not easy, but there are experts who are good in it and making huge profits, although being experts doesn’t exclude them from making loss, no matter your level of expertise in trading you will surely lose money.

The most important thing is to make sure that the profit you’re making is more than loss. Not everyone is so lucky. If you are not good in trading, then you can buy Bitcoin or some altcoins at cheaper price rate and Hodl till the price goes up. That’s the best thing to do.

I think both of them are crypto which has pretty good potential either bitcoin or ethereum. because of the popularity level of both crypto has a very high level of popularity. so I think you should split a few percent to buy both crypto. other than that bitcoin has the potential to hold in the long run and ethereum has the potential for daily trading.

I have tried trading every now and then and its not that really easy, it feels like someone is watching over my trades every move I  do. When I tried to buy USDT, the price of the ETH suddenly rise up that if I buy back. I'd lose about about 1.5 eth. It looks like they are watching me whether I'd buy back and the exchange seem to be part of it.  Trading certainly isn't for everyone so if you just want to invest buy and hold.

Short-term trading is not my thing. Tried it a few times and in most cases, I have waited too long, or panic sold. For now just hodling a little of Bitcoin and EOS, hopefuly, I'll get myself a bit of ETH to hodl. The rest of alts in my portfolio are waiting for market to recover :D

My opinion is for long-term investment with kindness definitely trustable why I am saying this bitcoin is the largest double up in the country in crypto currency so I said the investment of you is bigger then choose which kind only it will be the positive way to make your investment huge .

At least you are being honest and admitted that day trading is not your forte, your tried didn't turn our right and the end. I believed that most of us here just prefer to hold because of less headaches but you need to have a lot of mental strength to hold and not panic if the market is going down.

As for the classic Bitcoin vs Ethereum, as to what is more profitable, for me its both. Its just how you are going to play your cards here. Both are really good for long term hold. The opportunity is already there, you just have to learn how to take advantage of this opportunity when it presents itself, IMHO.

I think it all depends on your investment. If you are investing for the long term, then I suggest to invest in bitcoin. but if you do a short-term investment then you'd better do it in eth. although the risk is slightly larger but its turnover is faster than bitcoin.

You can choose both bro, either Bitcoin or Ethereum. Their are the King and Queen of cryptoworld. Both are popular and trusted. And this is the right time to buy and invest because this is the part of the year that those coins will start to rise up.

Both coins definitely do have their advantages and disadvantages - you have to make a decision about it after doing all your research and decide which one may have a better future and go for that. Sometimes people just choose both too. But that is a decision you ultimately have to make.

Talking about the market on these two coins, it's clear that both coins have a good role for investment and trading, no doubt because it's proven to be superior to other coins, which still as a leader. There is nothing to be concerned about that, we just need be patient and can control the emotions of playing these two coins in investing or trading, which obviously this is a more convincing advantage.

With both cryptocurrencies having such a high market cap I do not see ethereuem surpassing bitcoin in growth that much in the next months and years so if I were to choose one to trade I will choose bitcoin since the profits are going to be very similar but bitcoin is safer since most of its competitors will never surpass it thanks to the enormous confidence we have in it, while I cannot say the same about ethereum and all the new competitors that appeared in the previous year.

In my opinion I think the best thing to do is to buy more crypto coins while the market price is very cheap but lets make ensure that the coins we are choosing has more chances of becoming profitable in the near future for us to earn a big amount of profit.

Bitcoin is No.1 and Ethereum is No.2 in the list of cryptocurrency. Both have high market cap and people are putting their money mostly in these tow currencies. The reason is that these currencies are most reliable and authentic. There is no scam or anything else. You can blind trust on these two coins. Trade is difficult but more profitable than holding.

I think bitcoin is the best option for investment today, because the price is raising and in the near future it will cross $10000. Ethereum is on the second number in the list which is also good for medium investors. It is a growing crypto and in the future the price of Ethereum will also be in thousands. we have the same logic here. However i still can't put down the idea of having ETH on a long term hodl just like my views towards bitcoin. Safer play should always be may main concern since I am not really a good trader. All the coins mostly are just going to vanished easily

If you have trading experience then you can make huge profits from cryptocurrency no matter it is bitcoin or Ethereum or any other currency. Main thing is affective trading. If you don’t have experience then hold your coin for long time and remember the demand is low and so is the price, therefore don’t try to sell your holding or you will lose your money.

You choose Bitcoin or even Ethereum it depends on what you like. If you're just a beginner, go choose investing over trading because in trading, you should really have an experience about risking your money. You should have a self confidence in losing your money time by time because it is really risky in trading. I will suggest you to invest in long term like 2-3 years and comeback so you can see how much you gain.

It is more profitable buying and selling when price fall and rise respectively.  Holding is not looking great considering the ligering of the price below the peak.

because ethereum sales charts are very stable and safe to trade right now, if you have experience, you can trade, while better to generate profit little by little, but With both cryptocurrencies have high market capitalization, bitcoin is also reliable, but better for investment and if trading today bitcoins have a high risk. but I'm sure both coins will give a big advantage, if we can withstand a while.

If you don't exactly have plans how to trade and profit well, its best to just keep your coins on your wallet and hold. Both of them are good as investment, you can't go wrong in keeping your tokens for a very long period of time. think of it like you keep your money in a token just as you do in your bank account and go on with your day job. You don't have to participate in the economy and trading, you will be profiting from it while just holding.

If tou cant choose between ethereum and bitcoin then you can just choose both. For trading or investing, that really depends on you and the market status, if you dont feel confident about the market today then just invest but if you want to take risks then go for trading but make sure you have knowledge in trading. Then buying and selling would have to take place if you have decided to trade.

For me bitcoin is very special crypto since it is the main pioneer of all coins that is why I choose bitcoin to ethereum. Though for a users perspective ethereum is much better to bitcoin since it is cheaper and many alternative coins have uses ETH as their platform. For trading or investing i choose the latter since investing is more safer than trading for me.

Bitcoin can only work in the long-term process like holding and investing on your business while Ethereum is an altcoin we can't use it for long-term nor we can store him for future we can't start the company with it since its alt so we can only do trade with it. Always remember that bitcoin is for long invest for future and altcoins like Ethereum can be used only I trading.

I my self-do business with alt and mostly chose Ethereum

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the same for investment. Both are the biggest coins in the cryptocurrency market. In my opinion buying in these days are more profitable than selling due to low price. Trading is not so easy and needs a lot of experience and skills otherwise you will lose your money. If you are new here you can just hold your coins.

The market cap of bitcoin is still on the top and Ripple and Ethereum is quarreling for the second position. It means that there is no comparison between bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin according to the market capital is better than Ethereum and if we observe the loss ratio then Ethereum is better. These are the worst days for all cryptos and bitcoin and Ethereum is also passing this situation.

This time is for buying more crypto instead of selling because the price is low for selling and if you have bitcoin or Ethereum or any other currency you should hold them for some time. for now I think is suitable for the buy is bitcoin because the current bitcoin prices are very cheap and bitcoin also has a very limited total supply so I'm sure bitcoin will become very expensive when bitcoin is very difficult to obtain.

These coins were all good if you plan to trade or invest. It has good volume in all of the exchanges except for bitcoin, there are some exchanges that don't have bitcoin to trade.

This makes the crypto market for those investors that are willing to take risk and is feeling well to trade and invest, correct if you don't feel comfortable don't risk your money.

For me bitcoin is the first choice for my investment, because the price is growing again and I can make huge profits from my today’s investment. Ethereum is also good and fast growing crypto but bitcoin is the leading crypto in the world and most countries and big companies already accepted bitcoin as legal currency. I would like to trade in bitcoin because it is good than holding.

As a trader, I prefer to choose ETH because it trades fast and it has a wide range of channels, but as a long-term holder, I prefer Bitcoin because I think Bitcoin is the real cryptocurrency. And ETH can be infinitely added!

Take it easy with these things so you don’t end up making a mistake. Choose one that you like and then you can focus on it, there is nothing wrong if you decide to go for the both coins.

As for now, I think you can invest money cause the price seems to have reached the lowest price and hasn’t been fluctuating much this month. Next thing we should be expecting is a run up, cause I’m very sure that before the end of this year the price will surely get to a very high price.

For me I'll do both bitcoin and ethereum for my investment but I must focusing in ethereum because ethereum is lower price to invest than bitcoin.I'll do investing because as of now I started to study in trading.Buy if the coin is low price and sell if  coin is profitable.

I have chosen both Ethereum and Bitcoin as I know that they are really great. I am always trying to invest in some other tokens, for instance, In Stellar and Cardano.

ETH at this level looks like a great deal IMO. With major market movement and ICO risk taking on the way likely, it seems like a grand ole' idea.

unfortunately there is no safe choice in this down trend market, no matter what we choose there will always high risks if we invest in btc or altcoins rightnow, the risk is too big that investors afraid to hold or buy more tokens. So i think we should cut losses or simply just keep trading to increase amount of tokens for better profit.

We've been thinking of manipulation but have you read the reports that there's no manipulation? I'm not sure if I'm going to believe those reports that this is very normal although the market went through many rought times. And the last bull run showed that it was likely.
The market has still a very long time to recover until we see the price goes back on where we used to see it flying high.
