Post by: demiculus on June 22, 2018, 04:08:14 AM
How do you research altcoins to invest in? I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.

How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?

How do you find your way to altcoins in a variety of ways to get the altcoins? However, investing in coin is important. You should find them through the founders to buy the altcoin.

Same way as approaching investing in company equity - find a problem, then look for companies that are addressing that problem. The more knowledge you have about a space, the better decisions you can make. Plus with Telegram and the general openness of the community, it's never been easier to get in touch directly with founders to ask them about their company fundamentals.

There are lots of problems that don't need to be solved in a 100% decentralized way, or that need a proprietary token. If a project has passable reasons for using both and a reasonable roadmap, it probably has strong long term potential.

I think there is too much emphasis on 'hype' in the crypto world today. Investing in hype means everyone will be trying to sell at the same time, probably right after the coin hits an exchange, which diminishes your returns. Invest in technology and people.

There are a number of instruments available for researching/ measuring the good altcoins to take them into consideration. However, further data collection is required to determine exactly how long-term/legit affects your decision.
I often visit this site: https://newcpucoins.com/ and this Telegram channel: https://t.me/New_Cryptocurrency_Telegram to view new coins
After choosing a coin which meets some of my criteria, I will go to next steps to evaluate it by myself

You do alot of reading starting from the announcement page through the whitepaper and you check all references out as well as those that are affiliated with the project and look for red flags. And if you find any you ask about them and if they ignore or attack your questioning then you know right off the bat it's a scam.

Most of the time im hinting the signature of different people. Or sometimes just hit the service section and see which are the new campaigns coming on the way.
This gives me IDEA that what companies are there which just launched themselves in the market.  ;)

Then I will go and visit their ANN which is best source for the information and you learn about its buzz too. Thats first point of contact.

Later on is simple, I will just keep hunting the bounties to see if there is any new project that enlightens uniqueness. Thats best source to find new alts.

find out more about the origin of the founders, and know the future goals of the project to be lived. if the project has good potential and looks promising if used as an investment and has clarity about the type of coins to be launched, then no doubt altcoin to be launched has a good potential for the future

First of all need to read the white paper and evaluate its strengths. Join social medias and telegram channel to get more information. We can use groups and forums to get expert ideas. Then you can take the decision.

I don't have certain criteria. I always study the description of the project, feedback from those who have already participated in it. Then I act only intuitively. I used to make more mistakes than I do now, but I don't know the exact reasons. Probably every investor gradually gains experience and then feels the signals on a subconscious level.

Starting with reading is a good way. The white paper becomes the first reference to check the project, so as to know the purpose and benefits of a project. Being able to solve the problem with new ideas and can be applied to the basis of determining a good project. Team experience becomes important to drive project growth. So, how to find a good project of course we have to check it in detail, so the risk of investment will be reduced.

There is great way to work upon this. You always go for the coins which have unique ideas. Obviously the coins which are just work of copy paste from other ideas are generic one and they will never work properly or may betray their investors in the time to come. Its always better to ignore such coins and thus what you get leftover is the crypto coins which are worth investing into.

I am always looking out bounty section and ANN section of particular coins to know more about them. Will always check how they are being recognised in the community. I will invest in those where the crowd is moving. Because in crypto the more the supporters the more success to the crypto coins.

It is easy, a promising coin should be different from others, it should have such properties no other coin has, and ideally it should be created by some known outstanding developer.

Altcoin research is not a easy job because current situation is really unpredictable so better we should analyse the chart,  white paper and road map of the project we will get the good projects in quick time.
But we don't ask for the some other suggestions then only we will pick the right platform.

I believe that in addition to capitalization, the number of investors and other things, we need to take into account the relevance of the idea. A lot of the same ideas, and such original ones that make you believe in yourself, very little. It should not be a clone of other currencies and should not be a fantasy fiction. It must be something relevant and necessary.

To look for potential Altcoins I started by reading a thread about new projects on Announcements (Altcoins) Board, then I try to understand what they offer like the function of their coin on their platform, market opportunity, their platform superiority over competitors, etc.

If I already understand the information about their project I can decide that the coin is potential or not

if you are looking for alt that has real potential, then look for alt who already have a product that has been run and also useful or a favorite by everyone. market cap and trading volume also greatly influence an alt to continue growing.

Personally, I invest in altcoyins. I choose altcoins for investment by market capitalization. I buy coins from the top 10 for capitalization. Coins with lower capitalization are very risky to buy, and I do not buy them. My favorite coins are Ripple and EOS.

Personally I do not mainly search for thing to invest on.
I just invest on things that came to my knowledge, such as altcoins that appear in airdrops and etc, it seems like if you search really hard for ICOs you will end up investing in something that doesn't worth and you will end up losing money.

The most important rule in ICOs investing is to make your own research and not to fall for advertising that are trying to attract hype, they usually won't even end up completing the things they promised and will make the investor lose money.
The more caution you take while investing in ICOs the higher success rate you gonna have.

I think that's a really hard thing to do, considering the amount of projects that exist out there, and the ones that just keep on coming. I usually take a look to some channels, and see what people are saying about them. If they catch my attention, I will then read their whitepaper and try to see i their dev team is any good. I try to see if they where involved in other projects, and how well they ended up being. I also try to see if they have good partnerships or something like that, and finally I try to see what they are saying in their own channels.

After combining all that information I decide if I want to invest or not. Another thing that is important, is to see what is the structure of their token sale, because some of them just look like pure ponzi schemes.

The extraordinary should not be except that the price, the number of tokens and payments. Other moments they can praise as you like. Also, the company is obliged to have a finished product, just to show a hint of what they want to produce.

Most of the research are done on through the information you find on their webpage,ANN thread and googling the project to check reviews.
Firstly,  read the concept of the project to know if the team and owner are bring a fresh ideas which will have utility to survive and yield more profit in future.
Secondly, do research about the team involving, the project partnership and also check if the project is been registered (that's bonus guarantee cause not all good project are registered).
Thirdly, go through the road map so you'll know how long you need to hold the coin in other for you to have max profit.
Meanwhile, I usually go for project that have been exist before or have dedicated and hardworking team. Check out UBCoin (https://ubcoin.io/en) and here is their ANN thread  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3109856.0).

Just open coinmarketcap, sort by the volume of trades and start studying coins with a small capitalization and trading volumes of more than 10-15k $. Open website, social accounts. If twitter and facebook accounts are working the project is worth to exploring. Abandoned coins are immediately rejected. If you like something, learn more deeply. Learn ann thread on bitcointalk. It gives a lot of information

But what if I understand nothing about coding and all of these source codes mean nothing to me? Anyway, I use Github when I just want to make sure that the project is really woring on their product, regularly updating and changing their code. It's especially important when I analyze ICOs, it's necessary to know how they spend the money they gather.

Is some project good for long-term investment I decide by several
factors. First from all I check what they wish to achieve and will it be
practical for masses to use it. Usability of the product is important,
without it project doesn't have a future. I check team behind the project.
In the end I check how they promote their project, his active their team
is on several social networks.
I love to read what people have to say on this forum. Many people have
very good comments, and it's nice to see what people have to say here. By
reading what people wrote here you can see what alt-coins are in trend.

My important research before invest anything in ICO .
1 Do your own Research.
2 See their capability team.
3 and looking at ico listing website rate like icobench etc
4 See their progress in every social media.
5 Keep looking how their maintain their project .
6 Validation their team .
7 Look at their promotion with real money. its can knowing they have capital . they have product and they was serious.

It does not promise that the project will be successful. but at least they shows the seriousness and also how they run their project.

I usually join the ico buy group on the telegram. Contribute capital with them to buy ico.

Not worth it. because there may be individuals in the group who are paid to make false recommendations. and such groups will only make you lose your assets and waste money. can be spelled like a scam. I can not believe there are such groups that let other people in by simply paying some money.

The product from the coin project is a good first place to look.  Masternodes are a big deal right now because the stabilize markets by providing incentive for holding some quantity of coins.  The problem is that many masternodes can be too expensive to take a full master node position.  The latest product that I've seen aiming to make masternode positions more attainable are "shared masternodes".  Shared masternodes enable people to gain masternode rewards even if it's just a portion.  It also further meets the intended purpose of masternodes in the first place by attracting people to hold some portion of the coin asset for longer periods of time and to further support these crypto coins.  MANO is one example of a coin that will support a shared masternode platform.

So that's one example of a product.  Another thing to consider is who is on the team.  Basic Attention Token has some of the top Java devs there so you would imagine that they have credibility.

You mean how do we get the list of coins to chose from and invest into? Check for ANN threads on this forum. You will see new coin announcement thread along with the old coins popping up every now and then. Or you can go to coinmarketcap and get a huge list of coins right now available. That site is also useful to get some information like marketcap, current supply and total supplies which are the key factors for determining the price of the coin.

Well, I think if you are going to choose a good alts first thing you need to consider is on the people involve. Next is who are the partners of the project and last would be the road map with its transparency. The more transparent the project is the more the more it would be successful.

It is the right thing to do and also to consider how will the market and the coin may look after couple of year. What will be the scenario and how will this coin perform in the coming time. If it is a unique concept which may not pick up now but in future it will so one should be investing in it.

Actually it is hard to find a campaign of an ICO that we could make sure has a good project that truly has make sense. This could not be predicted as per looking at the market of the ICO so all I can say if you're looking for a good ICO you should be a researcher whrn it comes to your prospective ICO and study the procedures of the coins.

Now if we want to look for alt that has greater potential and real, then look for alt that already has a product that has been run and also very well by the development team is useful or favorite by everyone, because when the market cap and trading volume is also very affecting alt to continue growing in the future.

you can look for potential long-term project references on the GITHUB website. it's a great site. but besides that you also have to learn more about crypto. analysis of how the project works, the prospect offered for the future, and the team within it. all that can help you to determine a project worth investing in. good luck to invest.

There are some tips to find a good altcoins or other cryptocurrencies to invest in. Firstly, I offer you to seek the information about the founder or co-founders of a coin accurately. Because if you know about founder, you will probably identify how trustworthiness that he brings to his coin. For example: with ethereum coin, you might know the founder is Vitalik Buletin, was borned in Russia in 1994, used to be a co-founder of Bitcoin magazine, had got some international bronze medal in IT field, and that sort of information. Next, you should ask yourself that why this coin was created, what its purpose is. In addition, you need to take a look at that coin showed in the roadmap. Finally, leading your eye on its value, capital and trading volume of market. In short, almost altcoins show its huge potential, it would be a great incentive for you to take investing. Good luck!

If the coin was able to rise with the project's Ico and go through such a long and thorny path, then it is already a success for her and here helps to see the schedule of its development depending on the market and how the developers influence it in the future if there is support. For example, the same eos, but at the stage of Ico  it is difficult to choose not a fraudulent project despite all the advantages of the project.

If you don't know who to pick altcoin to invest in, look at their volume or see if they have good community or not. These are some much important criteria when you are investing.

Good luck!

In order to determine whether a promising altcoin or not, I analyze its dynamics on the leading crypto-exchange markets. In addition, I read reviews of investors and crypto enthusiasts at well-known forums such as bitcointalk and steemit, track new information on Twitter and Facebook. No less important role is played by the developers and sponsors of the project.

My strategy is to find ico quite a success, and wait for it to finish. I think not many ico are successful at this time, and starting from presale has a bigger risk though it is cheaper than mainsale. So waiting for them to get close to hardcap is probably the safer way to get a good project.

Yup, too many projects, and we can not study each of his whitepapers. So it seems like a good idea to ask like this. The problem is, everyone has the same problem, and of course will suggest hundreds of different projects, which will make you a headache. But some successful development teams in the past, created a new project. And that could be an additional consideration for choosing a new project.

I can suggest some, but I think I also do not know better than you. And this is crypto, we have the same opportunities and difficulties.
Actually it would be simpler if there were only a few ico at a time, but the developers also had the same chance, and this is our main problem.

Icodrops might be of little help. Some of the projects there provide the amount already achieved, and it may be important to attract other investors.
But there will be no guarantee from any side, and I think intuition is the factor that will affect the final decision.

need a lot of references only to be able to determine the matter. Whitepaper and the team that is behind the crypto will determine whether it can survive, and whether or not in the long run. Besides looking for reference only from the site is also the thing that should at least be done in order to have the consideration to select as long-term investments.

Just go to coinmarketcap.com, choose a coin, go to Social tab and follow their twitter, reddit, and from there join their telegram group/slack channel. Download and print the whitepaper, read it, scan everything on the twitter and reddit, keep tabs on the chat rooms, and read up on their bitcointalk announcement and you should get an understanding of what the project is about and how to proceed accordingly. Also tools like coindata, cryptoping are very useful to back up your analysis.

I am doing research on ICOs, very often not to miss promising projects. Here are some tips: visit listing platforms, I am using www.icoguide.com and look at rates, this helps you to filter projects. As there are a lot of ICOs and it is not possible to read all whitepapers and look through all of them. Than look at team, it should be experienced and caring about project. Idea of the project should be promising and unique, it should not be copied or not realistic. Whitepaper should be informative enough, and it should not be like a bauble full of promises.

Some of them includes project whitepaper, a well experienced team is important, project should have a need or reason for it to be developed, project roadmap etc.

I have invested $5000 in DeepOnion. Why did I?
I have seen the activity of DEV. They are really huge active. Also, it has a good community.
Let's have a compare between privacy coin as DeepOnion is a privacy coin.
Back in the day, when Monero launched, it was not huge valued and it took huge time to reach current position. It has implemented some good privacy features and thus it is here now.
While DeepOnion has already implemented some good features and planning to implement DeepSend which will make it complete anonymous crypto.
By considering those points, I realized its potentiality and encouraged to invest into it. That's how I invest actually.

In investing in altcoins, it's almost same as in normal shares and investing. You do research about the project, it's financials. This is same with. Crypto currency. Same approach. You do some research, read the coin's website, study the whitepaper and do some background work to get information. For me EON token is my token of the month. I've done some work and findings and I'm convinced that this is where to put the money.

I participate only in those ICOs in which Pre-Sale successfully completed and where they gained more than 60%. I select the ICO projects: https://icodrops.com/. If the project wants to collect too much Hard Cap (more than 40 000 000 $) I do not participate in it. Next, I view the rating of the ICO project on the relevant sites, analyze, check the number of subscribers in telegramm, twitter. If everything suits, then I check with the admin on the telegram, after what time the tokens will be credited to my wallet, when they are unlocked and
When they come out on a large stock exchange. Starting from the above items, I choose where to invest.

maybe looking for a good team or advisor profile. I usually invest in existing altcoins with good planning and achievement, but I have to last a long time to make a profit.

Simply go to coinmarketcap.com, pick a coin, go to Social tab and take after their twitter, reddit, and from that point join their wire gathering/slack channel. Download and print the whitepaper, read it, examine everything on the twitter and reddit, monitor the visit rooms, and read up on their bitcointalk declaration and you ought to get a comprehension of what the undertaking is about and how to continue in like manner. It depends on how much time you can afford to spend on the particular project. If you research for investing big % of the portfolio I would put a lot of time before investing.

- Watch their Website. Test it on the pc, mac, smartphone and tablet. Does it looks the same? Does it have bugs?
- READ the whitepaper!. If you invest in it. Don't you want to know about the project from the main source?
- Check their team and partners. Education, experience etc.

Only after that you can decide invest or not. Don't do it blindly.

If the coin is new to ICO I usually see on the calendar about ICO like Tokenmarket, icocalender, and others. There you can see the ICO just opened, then I check through the ICO rating website like Icobench, Icomark, and others. But if you want altcoin investment that is available in the market, you can see in coinmarketcap to see the details of the coin then you can buy it according to your choice.

I just do my own research and try to identify the hidden gems others have not seen yet - the unrecognised new or upcoming pre-ICO and ICO token and altcoin projects. Have got some success in that ;D Generally, you just need to do your research carefully and don't trust ICO listing sites etc. because ratings can be bought. Careful research is very important to avoid scams and other low quality projects - don't trust anyone but your own research!

I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. This will also boost tokens issued on the Stellar platform...

My most recent find among alts is AXU, "Argentas Exchange Unit" token issued on the Stellar platform and listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange, now only at its pre-distribution, or pre-ICO phase. A true hidden diamond, with low profile so far. Experienced people clearly, and cool tech for decentralizing and revolutionizing global banking - their website at argentas.io (http://argentas.io).

The pre-ICO price is 50% cheaper than the ICO price, a sure winner IMO, and I will certainly get some. They also have an ANN thread, I think here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4431900.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4431900.0). I dug really deep in their content, and it is really cool stuff ;D But don’t forget your own research!

My favourite ico projects are utility tokens that are very useful in our daily lives. For exmaple i have a token for traveling, remitances , freelance, health , food and many more those types are my favourite projects. Very important thing when finding good ico projects are the it should have unique feature or platform and strong community.

I do not know any tools when researching altcoins, but only use my searching skills. For chosing potential coin for holding, you should:
1- Searching its dev team (including advisors)
2- Searching its community (Active community and huge amount of member are great indicators for good coins, its cooperators)
3- Searching its info (how about its roadmap, introduction, its function, etc)
I think 3 aboved ideas can help you select a potential coin for holding (and remember that you should be patient when holding).
Goodluck, guy!

Basically speaking on research about which altcoins we should invest would be First we have to make sure If the particular project has got potential or not by knowing its company norms or rules and regulations set by their developers or the devs. and also research about the tools and algorithm's which they use to mould their project or particular coin. and also please check and make a brief research on the investors and CEO'S And the family of the project and done. mostly by researching you will be gaining more deep further information which would be enough for you to know if the particular project or coin is good to invest or not.

You can check for two things, which includes checking for the prospects of a coin based on the technical and practical capacity of the coin and the degree of advertisement and promotion of the altcoin.
The first lays out the ideas, strategies, problems-solutions offered, the executive and advisory team, roadmap, products and others.
The latter also deals with how the altcoin is being promoted to increase its demand and popularity

Researching about some Alternate Coins might take some time because of the fact that more and more platforms are being developed but we really do not know what are their goals and what are the specific job of their platforms. Some websites like ICObench gives us some idea about some upcoming ICO's or ICO's that are already launched. We can also read in the Alternate Coin(Announcement) section in the forum because some of the announcements there are worth reading.

You have to see their whitepaper whether if they have a realistic goal and vision towards the success of the company/project. We should also check if many people have positive feedback on them and they should have supported by the community because it will prove that the project will legit or not.

exactly , but sometimes there's a bigger power called a pump mostly it's happened temporarily…. some people with huge amount of money pump it up to attract newcomers get in the trap , once the volume blow up the one who pump it at the first place leaving by dump it all at once , those people who get lured and get trapped there suffering huge loss and in the other hand collecting crazy profits , nowadays it's more likely a money game. those alt coins that has no clear visions , fake unprofessional/unknown developers come to crypto business for the sake of making money and nothing else but gone for exit scam.

a lot of things need to be sorted out but most importantly , look for the one who has a well known developer with its great track record on making crypto currency/financial technology development in the past .

How do you research altcoins to invest in? I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.

How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?

I sometimes look at the advetisements in coinmarketcap and other sites online. I am also reading in different threads in bitcointalk.org to search some news especially in altcoin sections. Look for different alt bounties. By this time, I do not have much time to spend in alts, I cannot research well and I am quite behind the latest.

What I'm doing is checking them on the online platform, like coinschedules and others, to see their trust scores before they have anything to do with them. I sometimes read the road map and the white paper to understand the objectives and plans of the project.

I take recommendations from different sources.
ICOdrops and ICOratings. Also suggestions from crypto influencers.
I like to go for project with lots of hype. It's not always a guarantee such projects would have long term potential.
It all depends on what suits my strategies at that time.
Ads on news outlets is also a channel to get new altcoins.
And always endeavour to do your own research once you've identified an investment option

All investments are risky. My strategy in finding good coins and promising to invest is only doing research. Research everything about what coins are if they are good and can be trusted to invest. Look at the coin market if the coin has a rating.

Sometimes it is hard to get allocation in high score projects, moreover you have to flip them fast prior to dump

I do actually research for the ICOs that I want to participate in. By looking and reading their platform on the whitepaper you can see there how do their ICO runs and what should they do in some actions especially on token sale which is very important for their project to run. And i also looking to those bounty managers if they also handled bounties from the past that goes successful.

1) Reading the opinion of other members can be very useful. Some of the members do share the essence of their research related to a particular coin.

2) Asking specific questions will also help clear doubt.

Regarding your last suggestion for github, does it also involves technical knowledge like coding and all ?

However, plagiarists and scammers are inevitable, so it's worth spending your time on careful research of new investment projects.

If you mean coins than I think you should look at price frustrations and then decide which coin worth investing. If you are going to invest in ICOs than look at at the rates, first of all to filter the projects, I am looking at www.icoguide.com rates, they are more or less real, then it comes to the project idea, it should be interesting and original. Besides, you should look at team, its experience. These are two main criteria. But you will have more chances to select good project if you will make deeper research.

How do you research altcoins to invest in? I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.

How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?

it is not easy for that, you have to check the white paper and the portfolio first, then analyze it for the next development such as the product or technology. so everything must be the basis of research, because this is very important for every investment speculation.

The token corresponding to most projects is worthless. It's just hype. You can get feedback from the current market. This is also the reason for the fall in prices.

I don't go too technical when it comes to researching. I start by reading the whitepaper then research if their contents were legit. I also research on the CEO and the team behind the ICO. It is important to know their credibility and the things they have done on the previous project. I also check the comments on BCT ANN thread. An active ICO moderator will always have a way to answer questions from a possible investor.

I think the best way to choose an ICO first we need to identify an ICO from forum / thread  and study all related documents like project details, whitepaper etc. Because these are very important factors for a successful ICO project. If all parameters will be satisfactory then you can make your decision to choose Altcoins easily.

GTIHUB, this is an excellent website.
Most blockchain projects implement open source code, so you can judge the project by analyzing the open source code.

It is easy to speak if you know how to analyze the source code. But 90% of people don't understand anything about programming and cryptography.

The best place to look for review is this forum and then the hop should be YouTube. I think currently there are many reviewers in YouTube and I am sure one can get a fair idea about the coins and the project. However, my best bet is BCT because this is where I get to read all the reviews and if there is something I don't understand, I can always ask. The forum is very active and I can be rest assured that I will get a response from someone in due course.

You can also use some tracking tools like CoinMarketCap as well.

Investing in the crypto market always involves high risks and volatility. But if you want, you can find a promising and successful project. To do this, you need to conduct a thorough assessment of the market, examine the data of different ratings. But you do not need to believe only third-party experts, you also need to independently evaluate the project, having studied the development team, the availability of the finished product and development strategy.

Google, as long as the information is online then google will bring it up. From there you can follow link to link reading and getting to know more about the coin. But in the end, there is still nothing better than going to the website of the coin itself, there you can find a lot of information about the coin. How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?

Alright, here we go, what I do first is check in google for any bad reviews, I firstly check if the project is listed in ICO listing websites.
And the fist one which comes in my mind is the IcoBench and if the reviews are good then I continue the journey of research if not then I stop.
But what is most important is that we should not believe 100% what we read and what we show in the videos of those ICO.

In trading activity i did not use fundamental analysis, but only use technical analysis. But if you want to hold crypto for long term investment, you should be has knowledge about fundamental analysis. You have to know that coin has working product or not, and they has partnership with third party or not.

I usuallt just lurk in the forum alt coin section and search for the next best thing through the threads there. I read the whole white paper and just determin whether some of these tokens are actually needed in the future or not. Otherwise, I leave it alonr and never participate on the ICO nor the bounty campaign.

yes of course ask questions with people who are more knowledgeable and experienced so that you also understand better, besides that you check about coins then read reading about them. before taking part in a project you must know who the team is and find out if you have ever succeeded in running a project, be careful when choosing Altcoin that has high potential you check whether the coin has great potential or not.

What i usually done to look for a good project, that is checking on the concept of the project, the team behind it, and also the partners of the project.
And other things that can't be ignore would be the validity of the project itself. if a project has a real world business, then that business should have registered in the country of their whereabout.

the easiest way to choose a coin is that the coin has reached the lowest price and has at least increased one level. this can be known by seeing the history of coins starting from the launch.

You don't have to choose a new coin because the koinya doesn't have a history of coin movements and if a new coin has proven good, you try to buy or invest. You learn more in detail and you ask experienced people and have more details about what coins are good. find out who the team has or is not successful in running the project.

I searched for and selected coins to make investment facilities. First of all, I saw the total transactions for several days. If there were a lot of transactions that occurred, the demand was high. Second, the price had to be stable because of long-term investments, third is the development of the project website must be active, this is to avoid scam coins

Research means by examining the whole project from the smallest  to the largest details of the project. For me these  factors i considered for choosing good projects to invest;
1. Legitemacy of the team
2. Potential of the project to succeed.
3. Long term project.
4. Business Partners
5. Marketing Strategies
6. Communities
7. Project development (They followed road map meaning no delays.)
8. Does their project really needs blockchains?
9. Advisors
10. Team are capable to list their coins on best exchanges.
11. Does Team really care for the Price of token/coins and investors? (team not selling their own token/coins)

Always give yourself time to observe first before invest. And always know your exit point.
