And the devs have been fire tested, so this project wont collapse on the first issue that comes along like most coins nowadays.

So its a safe investment for miners, with CryptoNight-Fast algo its ASIC & Nicehash proof and the dev team can handle issues.

Majority (6%) of the premine is indefinitely locked, and can be even burned if necessary to stabilize the markets. Its not meant to be used.

The actual usable premine is only 2%.

Please read the chart carefully before making hasty conclusions.

Its a possibility, Telegram is popular but its not as useful as Discord because its just one continued stream. But I do understand that some people prefer to use it.

Check the ANN for stats, 6% of that is indefinitely locked. And the block reward goes up, till it hits 20 ccx.

I just downloaded and installed the GUI Linux wallet for Ubuntu 16.04.4 and ................

It's the easiest GUI wallet install on Ubuntu 16.04.4 EVER. :o :o :o :o ;D

Download the gui binary and run it, thats all!!  :o

No compiling, no downloading and installing dependencies, no googling an error to try to find a fix,

Amazingly easy.

Anybody mining in Ubuntu 16.04.4? With latest version of xmr-stak 2.4.7 AND the Conceal wallet miner in Ubuntu I am getting tons of invalid shares.

 My windows miners work fine, also xmr-stak 2.4.7.

 I have mined other coins with xmr-stak 2.4.7 and have no issues, only with Conceal.

I will try Masari tomorrow just to test it out.

I also tried several pools. I was getting so many invalid shares the pool banned my i.p. so I turned off the miner in Ubuntu. Its my main desktop, dual E5-2667 V3 xeon's and 64 gigs of ram with two Saphire rx570 nitro+ 8gb cards that I would love to get mining on Conceal.

Already joined, last Saturday.

Anyway it seems to be fixed, the only thing I did differently was set a fixed difficulty of 100,000. Maybe some transient issue that resolved itself.

So it seems my problem with the rejected shares was having the cpu.txt config set to use  ""low_power_mode" : true".
Also tested in a VM, the cpu config was set to ""low_power_mode" : true" , which was the default that xmr-stak auto config set, I had tons of invalid shares. When I set it to ""low_power_mode" : false" no invalid shares for the short test I did.

This is in Ubuntu 16.04.4 and xmr-stak 2.4.7

JCE is a good cpu miner (i would claim its the best), just need to put a bit effort in configuring it correctly. Cryptonight-Fast needs the same 2mb of L3 per thread as basic CN, so your L3 / 2 = optimal threads, affined to physical cores works the best.

Also, in CPU mining its really important to have large page support turned on:

Today, as my order of new AMD GPUs have arrived, I plan to mine CCX again. I will however test it first before I go full time mining it, to see how much will it be profitable.

Now I wish Conceal will be listed in a bigger exchange such as Cryptopia and Bittrex because I would like this coin to be more fluid, more tradeable as it would be exposed to bigger markets and investors.

kissmarx, you are right. Conceal is one of the most promising CN coins out there and should be on bigger exchanges. AFAIK, the team is working on it but need to raise BTC to pay the high fees asked by exchanges. Centralized exchanges don't give a damn if you are a non-profit community project or not. Conceal had no initial capital nor ICO funding. The premine will be used to raise funds for listings on exchanges.

Thanks for sharing this website. It's good that Conceal is listed at profitbotpro. Not just Conceal, also more other Cryptonight coins as well.

Is XMR-Stak the best miner to use for this algo or are there faster miners without a Dev fee?
