From the ZipZap site, it looks as though they will soon be offering the service directly themselves, rather than having to use a separate Bitcoin site, that might lower fees. Looks like you have to go through Bittylicious anyway, so it'd be easier to just use Bitty directly. The only advantage of this is you get to cut out the banks I guess. However the fees are damn high. It's a lot like the old days here in the US when BitInstant did this same thing through ZipZap at lots of walmarts and walgreens pharmacies. Very fast & handy; but not anonymous, and it had higher fees than I was comfy with. It's a start... They've got lots of bitcoin ATMs headed for the UK this year too so this situation won't last forever. It'd be rare for one not to be too far from a person I think. I don't think this system will be very successful or used much, but I guess it's better than nothing and the option is there.
