As the Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency frenzy continues with more and more involvement by the world populace, where do you see Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the next ten years?

BTC hit 1M$ in the future, i think it. May be 2025 ;D

I think they will be everywhere: in shops, banks and even hospitals, I can not imagine my future without bitcoin

This is surely what every crypto lover is pushing for. We want cryptocurrencies to be means of exchange everywhere in the world and every sectors.

It could be that we have to wait until 2030 but things should start shaping up in 2028 to see massive figures, and we would also should have getting rid of most of the scamcoins so Bitcoin would get all their marketcaps and absorb it making the price higher.

It's not as easy as you think it is. Crypto due to its decentralized nature will always lag behind centralized currency incentives when it comes to usability.

The average joes are perfectly happy with how things work already; what incentive is there for them to shift over to pay with crypto currencies? They don't care about decentralization, they don't care about financial institutions isolating and controlling their finances, etc. They just want to settle payments instantly and without the hassle of keeping an eye on what the value of their currency at that specific time is.

I think this is actually a good thing. Bitcoin's blockchain would literally explode in size if we would ever get to experience mass usage, even with LN. The less mass usage Bitcoin enjoys, the longer people at home can run their nodes without having to worry about disk space upgrades.

If Bitcoin would be the ultimate alternative currency, governments years ago would have done everything to ban the crap out of it. No mass currency usage = freedom for Bitcoin to grow.

I do not really expect that to happen, because I see bitcoin as an investment medium. but I still hope the bitcoin exchange becomes easier. and become a legitimate exchange medium along with fiat currency.

I predict that bitcoin will continue to grow and have a market share that will increase. I am optimistic that bitcoin can provide a very good development, nowadays that it can be said the number of users of digital currency and its specialty bitcoin has begun to increase. Bitcoin has also started to be accepted in some places, although it is still relatively small but I think that is enough to convince the public. Bitcoin will have its own users and in the future we will start a new era in the global financial system.

Well i think it's going to be different from what it is now. 10 years is a long time and enough for the market and coins to evolve. Bitcoin may not even be the top coin if it's still relevant at that time. I'm sure one alt will break away in the future, probably enough to unseat btc

As the days pass, cryptocurrencies will lose one of its most essential features: decentralization.
Many people are ready to sacrifice decentralization in facing for the easy to buy/sell bitcoin.
I expect the price to stabilize and an upward trend in the coming years.

I think we will see a lot of things being done using smart contracts. We will not have so many middle mens for everything related to money. Because trust will be on the code and on blockchains not on persons or papers. Sell your house, your car, buy food. Everything related to the commerce will use some kind of smart contracts.

In tean years many things related to blockchain technology and tokens will happen but for bitcoin things will not change much it will be around $1M in 2028  :D

I figure it to be valued much much higher in 10 years because of some very positive
and factual points like there will be 2 halvings in in the next 10 years and there will
be further adoption. The longer Bitcoin and legitimate crypto survive the harder it
will be to damage it with FUD and fake news which should result in fewer people
selling out.

The worst scenario will be the situation nowadays, not too much users. For blockchain, it will be implemented everywhere, for cryptocurrencies, i expect to be a surge in its usage but I think that many countries will launch its own local cryptocurrency for a cashless society.

the problems that bitcoin had last year (block size drama, fork drama, high fee drama and spam attack) has opened up room for altcoins to attract a lot of investors but now that the problems have been fixed and the drama has almost gone away that room is being taken away and altcoins are losing all the attractiveness that they had. specially since people used them and got disappointed when they encountered their issues.

bitcoin will be a very good future because bitcoin really helps not in terms of transactions but the economy despite the many shortcomings and will beat the conventional currency but this will be the era of future developments.

Bitcoins will be always always profitable because no matter how hard it drops in the market , people will always have faith and they will invest a huge amount which will make the price to pump again.

The world will finally have a single currency, the Internet will have a single currency. I personally believe it will be Bitcoin. The use of Bitcoin blockchain technology is wide. Some states want to use blockchain technology in new payment systems to better protect user information.
Blockchain unlocks new opportunities in finance, and has such an incredible potential for a decentralized financial system that does not pay inflation. This is my opinion on the Bitcoin technology in the future. And where will the prize be in 10 years?
The price of cryptocurrencies will rise in a slow pace and a similar year 2017 will be repeated. Bitcoin can reach $ 100,000.

10 years IMO is a small time-frame to witness a big overhaul in the financial system. It took us centuries before we parted with our dear gold as a medium of exchange, and with the government who has an established control over finances and the people, it'll be hard for cryptocurrencies to take over. Probably it will co-exist with fiat, just like fiat with gold and other precious metals, but that's it; no overhauling of the system, just an 'innovation' from its state--transitioning to physical to digital but still mandated and controlled by the government.

I do not see bitcoin only as a speculative asset. I like the idea of bitcoin being used as a currency. I hope that in ten years bitcoin will be accepted in all online stores. But this will require upgrading the bitcoin payment verification system. Therefore, consensus between miners and users must be reached.

Bitcoin will be around the internet may be even as top crypto being used by many giant merchants while other altcoin might vanish within next 3-4 years. Few altcoins like ETH and NEO might still remain as coin in high demand after a decade because they are not just a clone of bitcoin. They offer more than just payment servies and smart contract platform might get even bigger in future.

You know what,no one can predict what will happen to bitcoin in coming years.But for me i hope in ten years bitcoin is very popular and legalized by all country.And no matter how bitcoin drop down in the market it is still profitable because the member or users of bitcoin have faith on it and they will invest which make the price rise again.

The price of bitcoin is going to be unbelievable at that point we have not reached a rate of adoption of 1% of the population which will be something close to 70 million people while some estimates put the number of people that have adopted bitcoin at 5 million, if bitcoin was really adopted even by just 1% of the population it is possible in my opinion we will see a price increase of 5 to 10 times the all time high.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in 10 years I think of more adaptions that could have more users in this crypto. So much things could happen in the next ten years and no one will knows to be exact. Hope their would be more merchants globally so we can use bitcoin in any services.

As the technology grows even more day by day, there will be much faster transactions in the block chain and transactions might go even more cheaper, by the end of the  day the price of bitcoins will grow even more if most of the people will be still interested on cryptocurrency.

All I know is that in ten years, a whole lot would have changed and bitcoin obviously will not be where it is right now as well as the whole cryptocurrency market in all.

I am sure so many altcoins would have even gone out of the market dead, some shit coins will be nowhere to be found, some exchanges sure will be doing great and who knows, some would have really been able to have the chance to do greatly, but all in all, it is a long time from now and we won't expect things to be the same.

Apparently, no one can predict what the future holds for anything, policies could change, it could tend to positive or negative, but time alone will tell.

We should focus more on now and let the future play itself out. If I am to assume anyway, I want to believe with great optimism that a lot of things would have changed positively, bitcoin would have been more established as well as some altcoins, we may have started seeing real life usage than the present moment and obviously, the value by then will not be how it is today.

It will be at least have a better adoption compare to now as tech always take some time to get adapt by new users

By ten years from now, I believe that bitcoin and every other cryptocurrency will be accepted worldwide. Ten years is quite a long time and also a short time and I believe that a lot of thing is capable of happening. Who knows, preharps, the government might approve bitcoin and many renowned companies, will makes use of it. This is why it is advisable to hold your coins now so your don't regret selling them off.

It is quite hard and difficult to predict the value for the next 10 years because even it also difficult to predict value after a year or for one year because we know already that the market is changing with the passage of time and these are actually the market factors which control value. I expect a better future value for the Bitcoin and it will show again its value as it has a lot of potential.

I think the market cap will be 100 times higher than that of today. The number of investors will be 10 times more than that of today and the number of countries that accepts bitcoin will also be many times more than that of today. People will use bitcoin as their regular currency but in large number. 10 years is very big space for bitcoin to prevail in the world.

in 10 years bitcoin will be near its mass adoption or hopefully it has already happened and BTC price will be above $1 million eventually. by then we will have lots more trusted exchanges, and billions of merchants accepting bitcoin instead of millions. it will be a couple of halvings ahead too so we have that to look forward to also.

in 10 years we will see a very different altcoin market too. the current altcoins will be dead and replaced by real cryptocurrencies and we will end up having a 3 part market. 1 bitcoin, another 1 good altcoins, and another one shitty small altcoins like ethereum that are still getting pumped and dumped.

I think the growth of crypto currencys and bitcoin in the world over the next ten years will increase many times.l believe the price of bitcoin will reach $80000 over the next ten years.I think ethereum $60000 will cross.in the next ten years the number of investors will increase several times.application of bitcoin will increase.I believe people use crypto currency in places such as the coffee shop  market  hospital.

10 years from now, only people that doesn't have internet connection or computer illiterate or living in remote rural areas are the ones that still doesn't know bitcoin.

I look forward for this for me in ten years many doors will open for crypto currency like in business,school,malls and even in  companies.Bitcoin have a better future and its price will hit in higher level and many people will interested to invest in crypto so that the demamd of bitcoin will increase.

Cryptocurrency will keep on growing because there are a lot of people who are interested on bitcoins and there is always new altcoins as well that is being introduced in the market so cryptocurrency will really have a bright future.

After 10 years, bitcoin will be in every aspect of life. in many banking businesses, in international trade, in game websites, and more in the field.
it will become easier to buy bitcoin. some security problems will be solved. and I'm sure it will be more balanced prices.

Hardly gonna happen because financially isn't possible but I do think that it'll probably reach max 50-100k in 10-20yrs. As for the tech I see it everywhere you turn in the future. The banks closed, no fiat in circulation, all transactions done via cryptos etc.

Obviously and I really do not see anything different than this at all. For almost 10 years that we have started this journey in the crypto world, we have seen immense growth in value and as well as development since the bitcoin in 2009 is not the same bitcoin today.

I can assume a lot that would have changed in another 10 years from now where we are going to possibly have started seeing real life usage in virtually most countries, a lot of development in the protocol to keep things even more interesting, as well as huge level of demand based on high adoption level.

I don't really think that altcoins have gained any sort of significance because of Bitcoin's 'incompetence'. I think the main thing that made altcoins grow larger and larger is the fact that Bitcoin has become too expensive to buy (people are too stupid to realize they can just buy a fraction), and the fact that if they position themselves in altcoins, their investments will grow at a much faster rate than when they would have invested in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is almost guaranteed to increase in the long term, and altcoins, as worthless as most of them are, will increase alongside Bitcoin, but again, at a much faster rate.

Ethereum goes through the exact same drama Bitcoin has been going through; scaling debates, congested network, high fees, front running transactions, etc. People still use it and it hasn't lost any significance yet. Maybe that will change when EOS finally starts lifting its ass up, but for now they are still the best of the rest.

maybe ten years from now I can find bitcoin anywhere in the crowd place because I'm sure the development of cryptocurrency will always evolve.

After ten years, the price of BTC must be higher and higher, but the price of most altcoin will certainly drop a lot. At that time, it is certain that high-quality encryption will survive.

I don’t know how to prove if I’m gonna give numbers and prices in a market full of uncontrollable investors.. Its hard and the same time can be inaccurate..

my opinion of crypto and bitcoin in the next ten years, there are two possible first crypto will widen its range with more simple so that entering in area of transaction of goods in online commerce or crypto will only survive at like now only in certain area like mobile phone pulse, and buying and selling, hope for the future crypto able to cover the online market buying and selling goods in order to facilitate alternative payments or transactions, may be useful and successful for all of us

i think you are only half correct here.
people who are stupid enough to not understand bitcoin is divisible when everywhere they look there are decimals after the 1 (including their wallets, the exchanges,...) don't have enough money to invest in anything.... because they are stupid!

but another reason can be the fact that they look at the values and think if some price is big (i don't know what scale they use!) that must mean there is no room for rise and if another price is tiny it must go up. for example they see bitcoin at $6000 and say that is the end of the rise. but  see some shitcoin price is $400 and think it must rise just because it is $400!!!

We need a much longer transition time because currency changes from fiat to digitalization takes a lot of time and that requires a ready infrastructure as well. All components must be prepared and if it is true then it may take us more than 10 years to reach the revolution.

This is very related to the process of moving the financial system globally because if seen then not many countries that make regulation of cryptocurrencies. This requires a mindset as well as an uneasy thought. Believe me but this will go well because we all know that crypto is always growing every year.

Most of the economy is already digital, this is what most people don't get. Like 99% of money is digital and then there's this 1% of cash left which is your only chance at financial privacy, before the elites get rid of said 1% to get their closed source token so when you make a payment it gets registered even when you do go to Walmart to buy some basic things. Everything will be monitored and logged, and anything the can find will be used against you in the future for blackmail. The only reason cash is still with us us because it's what elites use to bypass monitoring, but they don't want us (the poor) to have access to this too. Time is up.

I see Bitcoin and crypto currencies ruling the world replacing paper currency and each and every one in this world is used to transact Bitcoin or crypto currencies for any thing they want to do like exchanging paper currency in another 10 years. I love to see that the crypto currencies replace the paper currency and replace banks to serve people in digital mode.

In ten years cryptocurrency will be a name in every household and It will be a main currency in mainstream economy with it been used for payment for salaries and even fees in education.

I think you are right. As it's already happening, many AltCoins projects will continue failing and there will be thousands of useless currencies in ten years. Bitcoin will continue ruling the Crypto world, at least the decentralized Crypto world. I believe Crypto-Currency will be divided in two parts: The decentralized side and the centralized side, ruled by the countries governments.

There is a chance more countries ban Bitcoin and force people to use their own Crypto-Currencies, the centralized ones. Then Bitcoin will be a resistence against this control some governments will try to impose over Crypto world. Those who wants to keep the decentralization strong will have to use Bitcoin or the centralized forces will prevail. Bitcoin keeps strong, centralized AltCoins gain strength and other common AltCoins die or stay in second plan as always.

I think bitcoin in the next few years is more develop and the price of this more than to what we expected. And I think many people will use it to their business and more people will invest in bitcoin.

Ten years from now the price of BTC and other encryption should be much higher than it is now, but there must be a lot of ups and downs along the way, and very few people can hold these encryption.

More people will invest in bitcoin due to get awareness about it. The future is that of cryptocurrency and the world is turning towards it. In this day many big companies have started accepting bitcoin as their payment method, and after ten years the use of bitcoin will prevail in the whole world. Then people will not think of their profit and loss. They will just use bitcoin.

Ten years is a longtime and we don't know if bitcoin is still alive but I hope bitcoin still alive. But I'll make sure the altcoins are still alive because what ever happens to bitcoin they have new altcoins will replace to bitcoin.

I see bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in ten years with more development and successful. And make us more convenient to use it after 10 years. And maybe after years many people using cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in more businesses.

In the coming 10 years I think the whole world will use bitcoin as their legal and regular currency. All other currencies will disappear gradually from the market and bitcoin will take over the market. For long time crypto users, that is normally how we'd see things. Right now since bitcoin isn't really showing a positive image for the unknowing public, it will be very slow but give it 10 years or even a little less, we'll see a good growth.

Ten years from now is a long way to go so I think we can see a good stands of bitcoin. Yes adaptions can happen from today yet their is struggle in the market but it can survive. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from now can be very exciting and a lot of changes in the market.

That will be depending on the investors or rather say people who are still trading in the market, if most of the people is still using cryptocurrency then the market price will always double its value every year.

As the market drop its prices right now people are still continuing to invest because they are taking advantage of the current situation which they can hoard a huge amount of coins right now while the prices are still low.

If in the next 10 years. I can guess the Bitcoin price will be 500000$ and the ETH price is 100,000$. That's a huge number at the moment but 10 years. It's normal

I think that BTC and ETH can't reach those heights because the total money in circulation is much less than that.

If we try seriously to promote bitcoin today and talk to everyone in our communities, after 10 years more than half of the world will use bitcoin as their regular currency. When the use of bitcoin increases the price will also go up and more people will take interest in investing in crypto. I try my best that all my friends invest in bitcoin for their shining future.
