I have an offline wallet and an online wallet restored with the master public key (watch-only mode). I'm trying to send funds to a third-party address by following these steps: https://electrum.org/tutorials.html#offline-mpk The problem is that I can't sign the transaction using the offline wallet because the transaction uses addresses that the offline wallet has never seen and are empty (this is my guess, but it makes sense). I'm getting the following error: "wallet not synchronized". It kind of makes sense: how can you spend something that (apparently) you don't have? I guess there must be some way of synchronizing the offline wallet (apart from bringing it online). But how? ??? Thanks! by definition, an offline wallet is not synchronized. are you using 1.9.7? previous 1.9.x versions had a bug that prevented offline signing. |
