Title: Alert a-la Inbox to tagged Replies Post by: wvizmanos on June 23, 2018, 08:30:06 AM Hello to everyone,
Still relatively new here and just beginning to browse to all the boards available to me. I would just like to ask if this forum already has an alert notification via inbox to members whose posts were tagged by other thread contributors. I feel this is needed so that the tagged member can easily be alerted and reply if necessary. I feel sorry when I don't get to reply immediately to posts where I was tagged. No, however... here is an alternative process. This is how I do it... 1. Go to search function 2. type your username in between a double quotation mark. e.g: "mdayonliner" 3. Enter a rough message age: For example 2 by replacing 9999, you can keep 9999 but in this case the search will bring everything and it will take long time. 4. Finally click the Search button. PS: Sometimes this search function acts weird but most of the times it's really helpful. When it acts weird then try changing the number for step 3. Title: Re: Alert a-la Inbox to tagged Replies Post by: Jet Cash on June 23, 2018, 08:57:10 AM I guess you could try a search for @wvizmanos
I haven't tried it, but you could check for the line above by using the search. Title: Re: Alert a-la Inbox to tagged Replies Post by: wvizmanos on June 23, 2018, 10:31:33 AM Thanks for the tips. I might also try the notify function if I'm really expecting a reaction or reply to my posts. This way I won't lose time responding. But I hope there's still a better way than this.
