According to observation, I think we are at the bottom and now and there are high chances that the price of Bitcoin might go upwards in a few weeks.
The last time Bitcoin cam this down, the next few days BTC went upwards quickly. So I believe that the price might soon cross $7500 in a few weeks.
We should hold our coins tight in this critical time because sooner or later the correction will end we will see a spike soon.

There are different trends created by different people with different outlooks
and expectations.

Are you just looking at the horizontal price level? Sure, there should be a bounce here. But it's too early to say if this is a meaningful bottom. I need to see a major reversal from bulls and support on the subsequent pullback before putting any stock into it.

The bears have a few things going here. We dropped from a long term mode ~ $7,800-$8,000, then we we retested it and failed. A supply event off a mode failure is a pretty bearish setup based on Tim West's system, which has served me well. I'm waiting for a better short-term setup or clearer failure before reentering shorts, but it doesn't look good.

It's not just that "might" but rise will definitely come very soon. The opposite reaction will take effect after everything has been stabilized and bitcoin seem to be stable @ $6,100 right now.
Don't be surprised about it, they are here not to discuss good things that are about to come with bitcoin but they only want to spread some negativity and FUD.

I know we dipped below $6,000 but the $6,000 area (ish) is becoming a point of suppprt. It seems those controlling the market do not want it to go below 6k for long or if at all.

I do expect a rise soon as this is what now, a triple or quadruple bottom? There seems to be support in this price range so yes, we could see back above $7,000 soon.

I say $9k+. I am saying this because we have encounter the recent price of bitcoin we are experiencing now.

Bitcoin is always weird because you think that you've hit a floor, and most of the time you HAVE hit a floor if it patterns like a standard market, but for some reason it never seems to stick in one spot for long and will either dive without any reason or go up again just because. $9,000's are entirely possible, but the question is how does it actually get to that position in the first place. I don't have an answer to it, I don't think anyone else does. We have to wait for the bots or whatever market forces there are at work to kick it back up in a good direction.

While some form of a recovery might happen, we can't discard another leg down afterwards. The support around $6000 was tested and breached, which isn't really that positive.

Maybe we'll see one more attempt before the bears have used up all their ammo. Either way, just wait until the market becomes green again. There is no point in stressing about what's happening.

Currently we're still up +100% from the price last year, which is still a more than reasonable margin. Accepting bull runs also means accepting the corrections happening afterwards.

Bulls are feeling mighty exuberant now and I could see this making one more push up in the short term. But I want to see buyers supporting the subsequent pullback before switching to the long side and buying dips.

The bigger picture is really not clear to me. This triangle pattern (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4117864.msg38137771#msg38137771), while technically breaking down, is not following through as expected. I have some alternative counts that aren't worth sharing yet until the pattern morphs. Needs time.....

People need to learn to have patience, it's very naive to expect a new rally just a few months we've crashed from ATH and currently sit in a bear market. Sure, a new rally might begin at any moment now, but realistically it would take 6-12 months, judging from previous patterns. Bitcoin should be treated more as a long-term investment, so it's better to plan for years rather than weeks, because the volatility is still very high in shorter time frames.

I don't think that we've bottomed yet.

$6.7k support previously was broken, and right now we're seeing the $6k level as support. While as much as I want this to be the end of the bear market, there simply hasn't been enough time for prices to fully consolidate at the moment.

More likely than not we'll see another dip under $6k, and people panic selling, making the prices go to anywhere between $3-5k as it bottoms.

But I do think that this is the time to start buying. We're very close to the bottom of the bear market here, and you'd be a fool to not start gradually accumulating while prices are so low and take advantage.

Too sad but true, that is one of the factors why bitcoin can't rise a lot because of greediness of some people which happens in the bear market. Yes,it may take those months as you mentioned but the time has been wasted if it continues the bottom effect of the value. There should be something that can help uplift bitcoin's name even if social media keeps judging it or spreading fake news on it. Soon,bitcoin will rise and forget about the negative vibes about it. Those people who will remain as patient and will hold the bitcoin will no doubt reduce the lost of their money but even they will make some good profit from the market, because bitcoin price is not going to stay here for ever, but will hopefully very soon start increasing its price and hopefully we will very soon see the bitcoin price trading above 20k.

at this point i really doubt that we are going to see a stable bitcoin. the only reason why price is here and the market is like this the bear whales are dumping bitcoin and keep on crashing the price to make profit. if price is to become stable they have to stop that and stopping means rise. so if the manipulation were to stop price could shoot up to $7k level and if it really stopped then we would be back at testing $10k resistance in a couple of weeks.

Different people have different thoughts about the future of bitcoin price. In my opinion I realize that it will take some time to come up again because the price today is very low and is decreasing more. Investors should remain cool and patient because this worst situation will not last for long and will be recovered soon. This is not a big problem.

Yes to see the bitcoin chart persisted at $6,xxx in a few days, the possibilities and expectations with the bitcoin value persisting in that number will boost the value of bitcoin again in the next few weeks. Previously I was sure if the bitcoin price would stay at $5k, but after seeing this, I'm pretty sure also the bitcoin price will soon rise in the near future slowly.

Absolutely no doubts,  because this is the final bottom price ( which a new bottom line of this fluctuation). So probably it will never go down more . And also because bitcoin growth rate nowadays is back again to 6k after 5k ,which is big sign 'cause as of now it's gradually increasing,  so definitely bitcoin will rise now and touch down the ath again soon.

yes of course, bitcoin prices will bounce back once the market is pumping up fast. pumping will take place around July or August, though in mid October prices will fall back, but I think the price in December or the end of the year will explode again, boom and set a new record. the recent decline did not make me panic at all, because I always believe in fluctuations and market performance and bitcoin.

It is sure good to see some optimism but that does not mean we do not have to be realistic even with the optimism.
I am very bullish long term, but in the short term, this market still have more space to test lower, and at this phase, I would not even be so relaxed expecting anything based on assumption or just some little movement in the market.

Firstly, for a manipulated market, you really want to embrace the trend so you do not fall for fake signals but as far as I am concerned, this market does have more possibilities of downward movement than upward movement.

"I think" is not enough. You can tell what your opinion is based on. Now there are no positive signals for the market to turn around. Moreover, in order for the bitcoin price to return to its maximum, at least a year of stable growth is needed. This year we will definitely not see any positive records. God forbid we don't see the record low price of bitcoin.

It's basically impossible to know. Markets bottom and most people just don't see it coming. Some people stay in denial for years about market reversals. There's people that still think the S&P500 didn't bottom in 2008, they stay in denial for years. If BTC starts going up there will be people in denial for years too waiting for that $3-5k bottom that never came.

Nobody can predict bitcoin price for sure so as long as bitcoin still around $ 5000 , it means that bitcoin is have many demand.
For me as investor, I keep holding whatever will be because I believe on bitcoin.

In short term BTC is totally unpredictable for short term - you have a good correction to the downtrend, then 1 simple news about totally unknown exchange being hacked, and you see in next 24 hours price to drop by 10% or so. But in the long term I consider we have same situation as we had in 2014-2015. But still, before the skyrocketing, I expect we might observe dumps to $3000, as the big banks like goldman sachs will step in and would do to be the ones to get the most from the uptrend.

The more I read these threads, the more Im convinced we are going to 2k.

Denial is a powerful force. The more the denial, the bigger will be the panic. And thats the danger, thats why I believe we are going for a 90% fall from ATH.

A 5% rise is not a bull run. We need to be at 10k to even start considering one.

How come reading positive threads affect your force of denial ? You must have got some super natural powers to convert these positive vibes into negative ones. Don't mind but I have got to say that this just my opinion which I am sharing with all of you and I believe that sooner or later Bitcoin will bounce bank harder than it has fell down. Your observation based on what ? A baseless one I must say. No one knows what holds for this market and I would not be so sure of any possible movement upward anytime soon since the market is in a huge downtrend and there is a huge possibility of it going even lower as the case may be. It is best to always sit it out at this moment until there is a clear signal that the market is ready for an uptrend rather than assuming based on one single principle or a short term price action.

Well that's a respected statement mate, it doesn't need to be a bitcoin fanboy but in general all ideas and opinions here was certain. If you're mindset and perceptions towards bitcoin was positive, then keep it as an inspiration and hold on to that. You should bare in mind that bitcoin will soar higher in the next remaining few days this June, and well be able to experience that bull run again.

There are no guarantes as to where the bottom is, and I definitely tend to lean in favour of BTC prices correcting further in the near future before it is able to start its recovery phase. But this phase isn't right now, imo.

Now, BTC may well cross $7500 some time soon. However, even if this happens, it will not be something that is going to result in a significant amount of reversal in the market sentiment, which is the real issue that is here atm.

No one knows for certain when will bitcoin recover. In a short term view, it may move upward gradually but it is also a possibility that it will fall down more. But without a blind optimism, I'm quite certain that in the long term, it will finally recover.

Absolutely right, bitcoin's market trend is unpredictable. It can either go up or go down and we dont know when it will rise after a dip. Currently, cryptomarket is following a downtrend of price and bitcoin go dip at around 6K$ to 5K$. Just keep holding your coins. Any panic sell off would result to contiuous dipping of bitcoin's price.

If this last ditch bounce to save $6,000 fails, it could get real ugly once we're back in the $5,000s. A lot of buyers might give up hope then because it'll no longer look like a range. So we'll have lots of supply from the $6K-$12K range pressuring the price down. That's a recipe for downtrend.

You are correct mate, no one knows what will happen to bitcoin in the long run but let us just be optimistic that everything is alright and things will be back to normal wherein bitcoin's price will recover very soon.

If real adoption comes and this is used for transactions and as store of value, the scarcity won’t make a stable price possible. Maybe on stuff like trx or eth where they can print a gazillion coins, but BTC is most likely to go up, you can’t produce more.

we can only predict the price of bitcoin but can not be sure when bitcoin prices will rise again because bitcoin prices are always changing and prices rise or fall can happen at any time, we just have to be patient and wait for the right moment and remain optimistic

Im very happy now , because the price is stable to more than 6000 dollars and I hope the price will n9t down. If we noticed the price decreased under 6000 dollars but after few hours only they back at that price. I hope the price become $7500 like what you want.

Well though the price right now has stayed a little above 6k, it did drop to 5.8k after this post. So i don't think we can say we've safely hit the bottom and would rebound from here. A lot of fingers are crossed since that is already the new all time low for 2018

You should also look at some market realities and the previous data of the year 2017 because this is not a static system but a dynamic one and it changes with time. Even in January 2017, the values were down but the market rose till the end of the year. Also the rise in Bitcoin carries the whole market with itself because of the fact that Bitcoin has a huge share in the crypto market.

Yes.I had strong belief in bitcoin.Do you know ,I had 2000$ in terms of bitcoin.I was holding it for the long.I use to sell ,only I need money in emergency.Or else holding is the best option for all.I had inverse 2000$ ,with the trust  in bitcoin.The price of bitcoin will cross 7500$ in few weeks .The people who inverse now will get some profit.

You just contradicted yourself mate. Telling when bitcoin price will rise again is as much as trying to predict the price of bitcoin, they are all predictions and there is nothing anyone can do with respect to the two of them.

One thing like you said is just for everyone to remain optimistic and know there is a lot for bitcoin in the future in terms of huge positiveness. There is actually a possibility that we may end up seeing a rise anytime soon but could be a short one and not some huge buy in the market.

I have confidence in bitcoin rising soon that expected. Hopefully by the time August end, bitcoins will be trading on a new higher level of 7000 to 8000 price. It will definitely end the year with 10,000 and over.

Even re-bouncing from here now does not mean we have finally hit the bottom for this short term. The market overall is in a bear trend and even if we see any reversal now, it is going to be a short reversal and not some extremely bullish activity. Nevertheless, that is needed as that would at least give some of us traders some fun which has been lacking for a while now without much activity in the market except for some day traders anyway which for this market, is a lot of risk to be taking.

As per many people, the whole crypto market has started its up trend from last Friday onward. But we need more confirmation. Some altcoins like ada and waves are showing decent level of up trend in last two days. Bitcoin also moved around $600 positive which is more than enough for confirming another 2 or 3 weeks of up trends.

It depends on the rate of demand, when it increases the value also increases and when it decreases the also decreases and goes in that direction, the graph line is straight on general basis. Current market is suffering from down falls due to the decrease demand rate but it might increase in the upcoming days because the value is low and man people will demand to achieve the Bitcoin on such low price.

Now days the price of bitcoin is not good and people are converting their money from bitcoin to Altcoin because they think the future of bitcoin is worst and it will crash if the situation remains constant for some time. We were expecting this but bitcoin has not making any significant progress since you make this post.  We just hope this month of July we would see another very high significant progress and by August, we should be above $10,000.

Your chart seems to be playing well as we have seen decent growth in the bitcoin prices from last couple of days. It seems to be going towarda its resistance of 7000$ it would be interesting to see if it can break that resistance.

Yes, the value of Bitcoin is increasing and we have been noticing that its value has increased as few days ago we saw a highest downfall but on the next day right after that downfall the value started to recover and today we have a better value of 6707 dollar which is improved value.

Once the price falls people get panic and lost their hope, but we all know about bitcoins growth. Price increase and decrease are commonly happens in the market. We cannot predict the market, now the price is down. But the price will increase after this month. But soon the price will starts to increase and shows its growth as soon as possible. Patience only now we need to watch the market, but sure the price will boom up by the end of this year.

I am optimistic about the bright future of bitcoin. I am not disappointed of bitcoin and I am sure that in the near future the price of bitcoin will increase. If I had more money I would invest in bitcoin because I know that bitcoin will take over the market in the future and the whole world will use only bitcoin as their regular currency even in their local markets.

In the next 2 years, Bitcoin will be high again for sure. Good call by pawanjain, but we shouldn't jump to the conclusion that we might see the needed bullrun. Not yet, we need a strong support at above $7000 before we can talk $8000-$10000. There's a lot of positive news lately, that causes the price to do some reversals from $6000-$7+++. Maybe the OP is making another call and can update his thread so you can follow his predictions. Its going to be critical and exciting in the specially coming August as the decision will be handed down by SEC regarding CBOE application for a Bitcoin ETF.

Yeah it really is sooner or later we will get the result from all of our hardships so take your time to invest from time to time it is still not too late. Well the fourth quarter of the year most of the time leans more on the positive movements than bearish. So a lot of us probably have the same preview of how btc will end the year even though i don't expect a 20k ath this time. 😄

I trust bitcoin's potential to rise anytime from now. The rise and fall in price has been its nature and there's no need to panic. If we are too afraid of its volatility and has lack of  commitment, then it won't help us to focus and decide wisely. It's been a long wait, and to us things has taken place in a better way when we kept hold of the cryptocurrencies. Once again the price has fallen low without any prior indication of a fall. Everything has taken place in a single day, and expect the recover to get initiated from the start of August and march towards reaching the $10000 barrier.

I can expect only because when we hope for further increase in value then it falls on the next day which has happened several times and now it took a lot of time to recover but this is the result of our actions which are not good. We should avoid selling on low price as it will maintain the increase trend if we stop selling on low price. Experts have pointed towards bull market which can happen within the next 6 months.

Follow your guts and what you know, rather than following experts. It is something everyone should know by now, that this is a market you want to have trading knowledge to be able to make the right decision and so is all financial markets. Probably, you have been getting in at the wrong time without considering how the market is reacting exactly at that spot. Prediction is not 100% correct but comes with uncertainty when we compare our prediction with the actual value we get.
