Gox is the major fuck up that causes btc price go down. Some will like this, others will not!

CampBX soon to follow.  Good riddance to both.  Exchanges are the Achilles heel of cryptos.

You all better hope that Gox goes down, cause if those 70000 BTC appear on Stamp or even half of it we´re going to 0.

Gox has been a problem since 2011. I am soooooooooo glad they are fading into the sunset.

What if Mt. Gox will do the same now that pirate40 did in August 2012? That would be cool because people who are stupid enough to use gox deserve to lose their coins.

I've been using them for over a year and I've absolutely never had a problem withdrawing money or depositing money.
The only thing "bad" that's happened to them recently is losing ACH deposits, but you can still deposit with personal check, money order, and withdraw via money order, international or domestic wire.

The only thing that sucks about them is they are slow at everything including customer service, and their GUI sucks balls.

I think a lot of people are convinced that they are somehow "going under" because one of their 3 deposit/withdraw methods are gone... lol. It is nothing LIKE the Gox situation.

I haven't been keeping up with the news because I'm usually not concerned about price drops... but WTF is going on, is this another FUD phase with a short downturn or should I actually be worried?

why aren't you concerned about price drops..  you think that there is constant buying demand at this price and beyond?  Even if there was enough people to buy it up to $1000 again you would need that to be constant or it fall again like last time it tried to go to $1000

Haha I have like 8 or 9 coins in gox. Oh well.

When somebody scams me for $100 I usually put $500 to make him suffer.

I'm not really worried about it, the dumb whales that were dumb enough to have so much money sitting on gox will be out for blood and will do much more then I could/ever would.

Plus 8-9 coins isn't that big of deal to me since I've been around since they were a couple dollars a pop.

I do feel for the people that had hundreds if not thousands of BTC sitting on their, hopefully this all gets resolved.

Moral of the story: Don't leave money you can't afford to lose on ANY exchange.
