Now a days bitcoin price is dumping continuously.Based on recent bitcoin market price data how much bitcoin price growth we can expect in mid 2019??

My expected price in mid 2019 1 BTC=30000 USD

I think it can happen, but nowadays a lot of news says the end of bitcoin.
hopefully your prediction about bitcoin will improve in 2019 is true. such as the beginning of its emergence, which has been enhanced to this day. bitcoin continues

I do not believe anymore any predictions - because 90% of these predictions were always wrong.  If the big guys in wall street start to invest in cryptocurrencies and if e-commerce giants accepts bitcoin as payment gateway ( I know this will not be real)  then we may can talk about a growth again above 20k ... but this is also a prediction  ::)

well to be honest there is no such expectations in 2019 as well because so far in 2018 we have seen that prices are gradually lowering and keep on going down day by day.

What I'm pretty certain about the value of btc by next year that it won't go down below $10k. Rough estimation after bitcoin halving will be around $20k - $25k. We can't really predict but we just mainly hope that those predictions that we have in mind will be realized for us to enjoy the profits. Always diversify your portfolio and invest only an amount that you can afford to lose.

I decided to buy 2 BTC tomorrow.Hope i will get some low price and it will be profitable for me after 2 or 3 months.

Oh come on guys. Just take a break right now and think about the current situation. I am not sure what makes you think about the timeline which is yet to come for the BTC.

Why not just focus on the prices that will be by the end of December 2018. The mid year 2019 is far from now, we dont even know what changes it will take by means of political views and also regulatory upgrades. Everything depends upon that.

Yes i believe that bitcoin price will arise over $15k at the end of current year 2018. Now Bitcoin and Ethereum price is so low that i can't not tolerate it because a great loss.

Maybe my opinion about bitcoin price for 2019 could be greater than 30k USD because I see the early prediction of bitcoin yesterday reached 50k USD so I think 2019 can be bigger. ::) ::)

Price up and down is a simple process for bitcoin and altcoins .Keep your eyes open .Before 2019 i hope it will cross over 15K.

When this price dropped will finished, price of bitcoin will cross 30000$.  this year price of bitcoin will cross more then 50000$.

I expect too much for bitcoin for next year. Hope everything will be fine and price will back to the track. I wish that bitcoin will survive and recovered from the long low price.

Don't expect too much this year. As you see in the past month and as of the moment. Bitcoin is struggling in terms of its value. But lets hope that it will grow again as time pass by.

bitcoin is a full of surprise. this coin continually surprised us.

I cant see $30000 for a few years I think the price will go down even further we could see 2.5k this year .I do believe it will go up but not just yet

in january people expect bitcoin price will reach again all time high in the middle of year but in the fact the price gradually fall almost hit to $5000 or below and actually i personally do not want to wait until 2019 to see the price rise up again that this year i expecting the price will high again but seems this is quite difficult

Isn't it way too early to predict about 2k19 bitcoin price, when we are not even sure about what is going to be the market scenario in the 2k18 end. Well USD 30000 doesn't seem like coming true soon. However you never know for the crypto market, how volatile it is...It cannot be predicted with perfection in advance. This continuous dump in the prices of the bitcoin is combined result of so many factors, so this is wrong to say that the same situation will keep on continuing for the years to come. Maybe 2019 brings a new era for the bitcoin industry!!

I think it's really hard to predict if what will be the market value of bitcoin next year considering that the current market price is now @ more than $5000.

That is very good news to hear about the bitcoin price, because most of the people even in this form are disappointed because the bearish trend of bitcoin, i think that we should not lose heart because ups and down is always there in trading, you need to study the market regularly and should try to get some good new from the expert about bitcoin and after that should take a step.

It's not good news. It's speculation. And people have their own speculations depending on how much they know and what they feel about the market. For me, i agree that even before this year ends there will be growth. Though i'm not expectinf anything like what happened last year.

I am expecting a recover and new ATH at end 2019 earliest.

As a long term Bitcoin investor I don't really care that much about short to mid term price targets to be honest.
Of course I check the price, because I am trading as well. But that's a different thing.
Regarding Bitcoin as an investment I have my eyes on the next halving. And after that the focus will be on the 2024 halving.
All the swings between each 4 years is mostly noise to me.

I expect a price between $10.000 and $30.000 but the price at the beginning of 2019 and at the end of 2019 can be different too much, so we can still see very low price.

If you are trading bitcoin then I do not understand why you keep your coins. What's the point of buying coins if you have a stock? It seems to me that it is impossible to trade coins and keep stock on long-term storage. This is a completely different way of earning. I do not agree with the wording of investing in bitcoin.

Why expect it next year when we are just in the half of this 2018, last year price same month was $2k plus and it spiked August till the mid of December but the current price in the present is fluctuating around $6k, losses are too much but there's a possibility to achieve that price again or even more this year, we can witness the lowest point of price this year but the good thing with crypto is you can speculate and expect also the reverse things.

I agree with you buddy.My expected price in mid 2019 is same 30000$.Many had expected the price will cross 25k$ by the end of last year.But due to some regulations in some country,the price of bitcoin is reduced some time and attain stable at sometime.Now the price 6100$,So I think 30,000$ raise is maximum.

For me, it is too early to speculate as of now. We can't predict if its either an uptrend or a downtrend of price. Next year will be again a challenging time for bitcoin. But I'm pretty sure that the price of btc for 2019 is higher than now.

the price in the end of this year, what more to say about next year.
   When I read about predictions for future I like to see arguments, some researches, I like to see effort from predictor,
any kind of effort and on what he build his prediction. I read so many of them, from very optimistic to totally pessimistic,
based on science, numbers, history, conspiracy theory, individual feeling, and so on. Creator of this thread just picked
random number, in that kind of predictions I don`t believe!

Since bitcoins price today is dumping so hard then we can expect for the price to grow above the normal price as well because bitcoins last year has managed to grow from $3k dollar to $19k dollar market value before the year ends.

The more lower it goes the chance of jumping upward is growing. Prices are subject to speculation which root of all evil. Let's dont compare the latest drops to current dump because this is the first time in the history mainstream are talking about cryptocurrencies.

what price we see next year will depend a lot on what happens this year.
for instance if the manipulation continues and it forces the traders who got out to stay out then we will have a much longer down time with more drops and less profit for everyone including those shorting bitcoin. and eventually the price in 2019 can not be that high either and it will take a much longer time for that money that got out to come back in and recovery to take place.

on the other hand if the manipulation stops OR if the market fights back instead of just giving in, then we can see the recovery happen as the manipulative sell pressure is lifted and 2019 price can be a lot higher because the recovery started soon and it would take a short time.

yes I really read the forums and blogs and analysts with good news on bitcoin price rise in 2019 even though they say it hit 20k and I heard this news I did really hope to invest in bitcoin .

2018 is not yet done it's too hard to predict an opinion if this is not end of the year. If bitcoin price this year surpass the last year how much more for incoming 2019.

January 1, 2019 my expected price of bitcoin ranges from $13,000 - $15,000. I think the hard drop in price has taught a lesson so it will be difficult to pay above that range for 1BTC.

The next halving is in 2020 if im not mistaken, so we are going to see a new ATH during 2019 most likely, and the bull market will continue towards the next halving. It's obviously accumulation season. It doesn't matter if you accumulate at $6000 or $1000, just buy, it will be much higher in the next season, there's no point in risking ideal entry points that only exist in our heads, it's time to act now and that means it's time to buy as much as possible monthly.

It doesn't seem likely that a bull market would be able to emerge out of the waters by mid-2019, which is what you're predicting here. The last major BTC bear market took much longer than just a single year to consolidate and reach a new all time high.

Yes, institutional investors are in right now, and markets are more mature, but I just don't think that we'll see much bullish activity in 2019 at all. It's just not enough time for consolidation, imo. We haven't even found the bottom of this bear market yet.

It's much more likely that we'll see some signs of recovery in mid to late 2019, but there won't be anything close to 2017's heated markets. 2020 is an interesting year to watch though, due to the halving that may bring back some bullish sentiments.

Maybe this year is not a great year for bitcoin but I think next year we will recover for this down situation. I don't say any price because we can say what will be the next price price next year.

We won't know until the time comes, anything can still happen but if we compare the charts last year to this year we can assume a slightly predictions. $30k is not impossible that's why I decided to just hold my coins and until the price recover

Making expectations and speculations should be backed up with theories , analysis or at least news for upcoming partnerships , exchanges or companies adopting bitcoin as a payment method , and not just any company but those who could actually make a change .
Sadly many people make such declarations such as did John McAfee earlier this year , but such people are known of low key chilling some alts and their words are not to be taking seriously , we should stay away from both FOMO and FUD and just do what our guts tells us to do , but speculating without having it backed up by a solid arguments isn't something acceptable ..

I expect it'll be "crashing" to some kind of high five figure value after having spent a little time in a "bubble" of six figures and people will be calling it the death of bitcoin (yet again).

If you want a dollar figure, sure, I'll throw a meaningless guess in: $87654.32 after having hit an ATH in December 2018 of $123456.78.

As asual for sure all predictions will be useless again on that year, because whales always bathing in the market which is even there's possibility of growth rate to soar it will always fluctuate because of that cause .So i think no need to make early predictions for it which is for me as of now much better  to focus on the current situation of the market intead of expecting a value in the future.

Most of the cryptocurrency analyst today are expecting for the price of bitcoins to reach $50k dollars before the year ends so i think that bitcoins will have more than $30k dollar price in 2019.

the expectation of bitcoin prices in 2019 will not be more than $ 30k because I see there is currently no good news that could trigger a rise in bitcoin prices, bitcoin prices can go up when there is good news and it seems like it will happen sometime in the future.

I doubt that we'll see that much of a bull market in 2019.

I think that the bear market will at least last until the end of this year before some form of recovery comes. However, based on the previous bear market data, it's more probable that it'll take around 1 year or so from this point on before bitcoin is able to truly bottom (just take a look at the graphs for 2014-2015 bear market).

Hence, it's unlikely for me to see bitcoin over $20k in 2019. Prices only recover slowly at the end of bear markets as there is still uncertainty in the market, and bullish sentiments come back gradually. It doesn't go parabolic straight away. But right now, we're definitely a long way away from any bullish prospects as the $6k support is being tested and most likely will not hold in my honest opinion.

it's just speculation mate, all we have to do today is get investors come back to believe in bitcoin, because in the bitcoin market
there are doubts to buy then keeps prices down, if the price could rise by 10% or more, I'm sure it will make confidence rises in the market

This year is said to be the accumulation period of bitcoin according to some of the bitcoin analysts and they expect the bitcoin to go down further before going up again. The year 2019 might be good year for bitcoin after a not so good performance of this year. There might be another all-time high next year but it still difficult to predict the exact price.

For me, I expected price growth few months after halving. I just based it on the last halving but who knows your prediction would become true. Sure thing, we will beat that $20k in the right time but I think not in 2019. It takes how many years for recovery, for a new ATH.

Everyone must have their own interests and goals. We can not know what the fate of bitcoin will be, but we should always be optimistic because it will make the bitcoin stronger. Making bitcoin a global financial system media is a rational thing to happen.

I think in 2019 the price will touch $250000, because from this year starting itself there is no significant growth in the bitcoin price. Bitcoin holders will expect by the end of this year or by 2019 the price will have tremendous growth. Due to decrease in price people are getting panic to invest in bitcoin.
