Other than it being decentralized (banks and government has no control over it), the versatility of it i think is the main reason. Plus, transaction from different locations aren't a problem, meaning, money transfer wouldn't be an issue to spread your money. Another thing, i wouldn't want to bring cash in some places (too risky and an eye candy to criminals) well maybe just in my country.

In my opinion, bitcoin will be the primary means of payment in the future, because shopping just gets easier. We do not have to bother with fiat money or credit cards. Just pay with bitcoin only. That's why later bitcoin demand will increase drastically.

first of all bitcoin is already a currency and it will be in the future. it just has more adoption in the future. and the reason has nothing t odo with people investing in bitcoin.
it is all about the fact that bitcoin is the only currency that is decentralized, censorship resistant, boarderless, with a good privacy, cheap, fast and secure out there.
and it is strong and surviving because of these factors not because some idiots invest in it. the investors come and go as the wind.

Cashless trading is the development trend of the future society. At present, only China is cashless trading countriy . This is because China's online payment companies are large and have reached cooperation with banks, but for most countries, This is very difficult, and cryptocurrency can make it easy for them to achieve this goal.

Since the network has been building from algo and it will be difficult to attack the network and remember POW is the really strong system. But the real problem is not about that. The real problem is when you are seeing that about the market has been failing and then so many people are feeling scared right now. I think that's because, the more people who know and use bitcoin as a means of exchange after money, and because of the rising Bitcoin price, so many people are starting to invest and try to take advantage of it

all crypto players especially bitcoin always argue that bitcoin will become a means of payment in the future, but as we see now the btc price is declining sharply, and there are still many governments from different countries prohibiting the existence of btc in their country

Bitcoin is not a future currency because already Bitcoin reach the entire world. So it is current trending currency but many countries are not supporting to legalisation of cryptocurrency because of economic development of the country. So as soon as possible all over the world acccepting the crypto currency.

Because it is simply better than current currencies we use and it is more trusted and decentralized than many cryptocurrencies in the market. It is also not backed by company or person like most tokens so I can trust it.

In my point of view, the main reason Bitcoin/Altcoins can be the future currency because it is a digital currency. And we are in the cyber-era. Technology is evolving every single day. Bitcoin is the future mode of transaction , on line shopping is going to be more easy and in market also no one to carry paper money with himself for shopping, people use ATM cards but their booth are not available everywhere but with this you can do transaction by just one click and also no fear of theft and charging are very lower side as compare to bank charges. Govt have to do lot of expenses on paper currency like staff, printing and transaction cost to make money available to every citizen, so my opinion is this is the future mode of transaction.

It will be so hard or almost impossible for bitcoin to be the currency world wide. As we can see, many governments aren't allowed for such thing to happen.

Basically price of bitcoin will reach millions of dollar in the next couple of years. The future of currency is here and won't go away since people use it to store of value and payment system.

I have an explanation if bitcoin is currently a new technology and bitcoin belongs to a technology that adopts transactions like currency. I think if in the future bitcoin can run well and can replace money or at least be parallel to the money to be used for transactions. so I think that's a bit of my explanation why bitcoin is the currency going forward

I think the opposite, Bitcoin in the future cannot become a future currency because now everyone is always considered Bitcoin is the property they hold and sell when the exchange rate is high to make the profit but not using BTC as a unit of currency. In the future you can only hope for ETH and altcoins will become future currency.
