Title: [Request] [Report to moderator] Limit unhandled reports to the last week.
Post by: InvoKing on June 24, 2018, 10:21:25 PM
Code:
You have reported 930 posts with 99% accuracy (886 good, 14 bad, 30 unhandled)

Those are my stats, i do not report that much since I limit it to few subs. I lately (from weeks) start my days with 18 unhandled reports.
I have actually 30 unhandled reports, so basically after the 12 new unhandled ones will be marked as good (or bad) i will restart with 18 unhandled reports.
I request if possible to limit the unhandled reports to just the latest days (3 days or 1 week max to know if the mods checked all your latest reports or not) or even to remove it from the text since it is stressing and not that useful.

Edit : it is my view point and I respect others idea, please do not spam this request.

It's probably in there to fill in the gaps. For example, if someone had 5 good reports, 3 unhandled, and 2 bad in the past year, but the unhandled reports weren't visible someone would be wondering why the stats don't match up. So, it just showed 5 good reports, and 2 bad, but the user can see they have 5 total reports it might lead to confusion.

Although, having said this I generally agree that it's not that useful, and would be more useful if it reset periodically. However, I'm well aware what unhandled reports are, but someone new or out of the loop might well not know this.

Yes, and a simple message could help :)
For example :
-snip-, 14 bad, 12 unhandled in the last three days /If the score doesn't match up then it's related to the old unhandled reports).

I get the same issue but for me it's not an issue.

I know I have 10 that are premenantly unhandled, the rest are the ones that are waiting to be handled or a report that is right but a moderator doesn't see it fit to remove that post.

Unhandled reports are somewhat of a "soft bad" report as a no moderator has chosen to take action based on your report.

I request if possible to limit the unhandled reports to just the latest days (3 days or 1 week max to know if the mods checked all your latest reports or not)
By doing that, it makes the stats much more complicated (different calculations for each [unnecessary]) than they are at the moment and at the same time, shows "inaccurate overall stats".
