From my experience, I see Bancor as a liquidity network more than I do as a decentralized exchange. You are able to convert to and from any token on the network through smart contracts. Perhaps take a look for yourself - I'm not great with english ???

I heard many good things about Bancor and this is one platform that is able to maintain its purpose and a certain amount of popularity. I am not a heavy user of Bancor but I got an account in there which I open from time to time having some coins or tokens in their wallet. I am sure that Bancor has the reputation and a promise of a good future ahead. Many of the good projects are integrated into the Bancor platform.

They also through their hat in the ring as a block producer for the EOS mainnet. LiquidEOS is like top 10/21. Seems like they got some good visions.
