I did some research for last few months regarding cryptocurrency. I got some crucial questions in my mind. One of the questions is: Will other coins go to near to the bitcoin value or bitcoin will go up again? 

That is not impossible but hard to achieve! I have been playing in crypto currency market since last 2 and half years and if your talk about a competitor of bitcoin, the one coin comes in my mind is ETH. Even thought bitcoin and ETH are structurally different and have different usage, but ETH is the closest contender of bitcoin in terms of pricing and market cap. The smart contract capability of ETH is what made it immense popular and widely accepted by the global start ups.

So for me it is ETH who has the capability to come closer to bitcoin. However, I don't see ETH price is beating bitcoin by any margin.

Even the 2nd most popular and most used coin is far from getting near with the price of bitcoin and not to mention bitcoin now is struggling but even though ETH is still unable to come close. I agree with you it is not impossible but will be so hard to achieve there will be so much development to happen if another crypto wants to beat the price of bitcoin.

In next year there is no chance for that, maybe in next years if something very bad happens to BTC. If you just observe crypto market then is very easy to see that every other coin is just follow BTC regarding price. In terms of price ETH is not even 10% in comparison to BTC, and if one day price of BTC reach 100 000$, maybe ETH will be worth 10% more or less of that price.

If you think on market cap value this is something different, since this is combination of price and coin supply, BTC is limited to only 21 million (in circulation 17+ million now), ETH is above 100 million coins - if BTC stay at this price, and ETH double value it will still be on second place by market capitalization.

Even the 2nd most popular and most used coin is far from getting near with the price of bitcoin and not to mention bitcoin now is struggling but even though ETH is still unable to come close. I concur with you it is not impossible but will be so hard to achieve there will be so much development to happen if another crypto wants to beat the price of bitcoin.Bitcoin is running faster than any other currency

I don't think so because bitcoin has take the lead way ahead in terms of price and i am not sure any altcoin will even get closer to it not to think of just next year. Not even ETH has the chance of getting close to bitcoin not to think of other altcoins.

No, I guess its impossible. It would be highly improbable. Why? Because BTC value is very speculative and the ONLY way, BTC owners see some growth, is if BTC will be more widely accepted as currency. In my opinion, that is VERY unlikely, but even if it happens, there is no reason for any other coin to rise to same level. BTC will dominate cryptocurrency (IMHO 1%) or whole coins vanish into nothing (99%)

Unfortunately, no, it can't be happened because I believe that it will be rising up again for the next few days. Maybe there is possibility that it will be deeply down but I don't think so that it's value can be nearest to other crypto value. However,  even if how dip it will be one thing is for sure and that is it will pump again and do recover and atlast reach it's highest peak.

So, you are trying to say that no other cryptocurrency can beat BITCOIN never ever !!

no they won't.

because the only reason why bitcoin is rising is because it is a currency that is actually being used. altcoins are useless tokens that will always be used for speculation and trading. such coins can not have a sustainable rise. they will fall after they rise too much.
like ETH which is a shitcoin which went up to $1500 and couldn't keep the pump up so it dropped down to $400 and it is still falling

No i don't think so. BTC took years to achieve its position today and BTC is the pioneer in this business too. There is no chance for other coins to beat BTC in just a year. I don't think so.

I think that yes soon all new crypto projects like Socratus will become more promising than Bitcoin invest in Socratus

It is possible nothing is impossible in crypto we knows the ups and down. Some coin might overtake bitcoin as per value but to overcome the structure of bitcoin it might take a year to compete with bitcoin and the numbers of people who uses it.

Not going to happen in terms of value, Bitcoin has around 50 percent of total market share which is really massive. If this does actually happen it will take a long time (5-10 years at least)

We can not change the past nor can we know for sure what we should do now is to invest as well as help bitcoin get the trust and love of many if As for the future there will be other coin better bitcoin is also good

If things continue downwards then Bitcoin's market share will increase. Many a shitcoin will die completely. The big ones will remain as ever but probably lose too. Most of the forth that arrived in the last year and a bit will float away into nothing.

There'll be much more money to be made than BTC if you buy the alt survivors when they pump again. It's anyone's guess which'll thrive again beyond the obvious ones.

Bitcoin is the first and main cryptocurrency.. I think that it will always be the most expensive, because it is very small.. the closest competitor is etherium..

Although anything is possible in the crypto market, it is very difficult for any coin to catch up with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is in a bear market right now and despite of it's low price it still is at $6000 which no other coin has even crossed even half of this price. Bitcoin has been in the market for a long time and this is what has become the reason for its high price. ETH is a the second best coin and even then it is less than $1000k price. So surpassing Bitcoin is a very difficult thing and will take a lot of years to happen.

I don't think so if it could happen, I also couldn't tell of comparison or even justifying with regards to this matter since we couldn't tell exactly what will the future of crypto like altcoins or bitcoin could be since it was very unpredictable. But let's watch the market and see what altcoin will come on top or if it would still bitcoin.

I don't think that any other coins will come to close to bitcoin but i do believe that bitcoin will rise up again before the year ends. There are some other coins that has capability and potential to be next to bitcoin but it will never be replace bitcoin.

There are very few coin that match up with the level of btc like ETH, Ripple,LTC and all other popular coins. But i feel mostly ETH would be the one to catch the pace of btc and even reach more higher levels.But btc would remain the king of all crypto world as it has got that potential to reach to any level in no time as such is the volatality.I suggest i would keep an eye on ETH and also invest there little and keep some targets for good returns in the near future.

The second most popular and most widely used ETH and Ripple coins are much closer to bitcoin prices and not to mention bitcoin is now struggling but even though the ETH is still not approaching yet. No, they can't. Even Ethereum didn't manage to reach the price of Bitcoin despite large user base. Bitcoin price will continue to increase in the next few years. Altcoins will always be less valuable than Bitcoin. Usually when Bitcoin value goes down, altcoins also lose their value because of FUD and people exchanging their coins to BTC which they can easily sell.

Ethereum for now is the only ALTCOINS i think can come near to Bitcoin in future because of the demand it has for the token created under its platforms... Another coins i believe can do that its the one supported by many government of each countries..

I think the value of other coins will not chase bitcoin because bitcoin users are getting more and more even though the price is currently decreasing, bitcoin will remain number one.

Well, the only coin in my mind that could rise up to close up to the bitcoin price is still the ethereum; based on its high level of relevance and usage. That is my thought about the ethereum but the bitcoin is definitely due for a bullish run and I should see that happening towards the last quarter of this year.

In past sometimes Other cryptocurrency except bitcoin made a incredible progress. Many people attract Altcoin instead of bitcoin. And the reason is falling the price of bitcoin. According to many economist prediction etherium or ripple may take the place of bitcoin soon. Etherium is mainly use by many investors for long term investment because of its less volatile nature. Many people attract towards ripple because of its fast transaction speed then that of bitcoin. So these currency have potential to take the place of Bitcoin.  :)

It will take too much more years before that will happen. Even the ethereum,it will be difficult for it to come close with the bitcoin. Remember that the creator of bitcoin is genius and we know all that,i think they will never allow the

I dont think so because for now bitcoin value is very far from other coins even if they will increase and bitcoin will drop down still other coin value wont get close to bitcoin because the difference of its value is very far.

I do not think any coin will come close close to bitcoin next year. Most of these coins, their prices still hinge on the price of bitcoin. So far they are still dependent on bitcoin, then they can not surpass it

I guess that no coin could ever surpass bitcoin. Bitcoin will grow on value, and will be dominant cypto. It doesn't however mean that Ethereum could someday be the leader in terms of market value.

Everything is possible to happen in cryptocurrency,bitcoin now is still the king of all coins it is hard to beat by any coin for now but who knows what will happen in the future.

One way or the other in due time there will be a new/old coin that will closely priced within the bitcoin range, but on what middle price is that is question to be answered on that very day alone.

Your answer is straightforward. I like your confidence regarding BTC. But still, I feel BTC will lose some value near future, maybe it will come to $5000/BTC. As a technical analyst, I do not find any hope right now.

A lot of replies said no and i'm with them. Next year we can expect to see some increase but it won't be close to the price of Bitcoin. A year or two won't be enough for these altcoins.
 
Imo it's more of an example rather than a reality rods didn't said that $3,000 is going to happen 100%. I also don't see Bitcoin heading towards $3,000 it's not impossible but from the looks of things chances are much higher for it to go up.

Other coins and tokens can not even approach the bitcoin price. Bitcoin is too detached from the rest of the crypto currency, and hardly any of these coins can approach him. Most likely, such a convergence in the price may be due to the loss of the bitcoin part of its value.
However, I think the cost of bitcoin is not so important. We need the stability of the crypto currency in general rather than its rapid price growth.

Not that early. It will happen but not next year. Ether has already reached $1K+ in its value. So it's a good candidate to achieve the current price of bitcoin. For sure many would look forward to that day. Right now just take every chance to invest and trade to have a good profit.

I think none of the present coins are not even close to be on the same level with Bitcoin of close to that. But maybe there will be some new coins till that time...

for me perhaps there's a possibility but it depends on some crypto community or let we say other big players if they want to contribute on other alts instead on btc which very promising.  'cause the most important is the demand and supply of coins so it's impossible there's an other alt coins growing in the future near to bitcoin without any support unless if all investors evacuate in the future ,  lol , 'cause coins must have massive demand and supply before it can go near to bitcoin price which because of being still expensive.

No other coins can come close to bitcoin or maybe surpass the price and I think its ETH I have a very positive in the progress of eth from the time I know this crypto maybe now its price falls but in the future it has the power to kick any coins and be the no. 1 crypto.    

Judging by the status of these coins I don't see not even one that can come close to bitcoins price. Some coins are doing good but bitcoin has set the bar to high for all of them to get over. Bitcoin has been and will still be on top of them all for a long time. I know nothing last forever and eventually some coin will take over but for the next few years bitcoin will remain on top.

Yes, in the long run, we all die. Nothing is perpetual in this world same goes for the cryptocurrency. I am a bit anxious due to recent fall of bitcoin. I feel something is not right.

Well to be honest, it can take a lot of time. Bitcoin has reached a high value and is top ranked so it will be hard to reach its position. Some coins like PRG, ICX can go really high if they continue with their performance. If PRG’s Paragon Space is successful, it can reach the top and dominate.

Bitcoin has had a great performance. It is very difficult to reach that level. So it can take a really long time to get there. But it is definitely not impossible; coins like TAU, ICX and ADA can reach there with their excellent performance in the crypto market.

There are many new bitcoin emerging here in cryptocurrency and some are listed in the market but no one can surpass the value of bitcoin even ethereum it still stay at the back of bitcoin.

Already many coins are almost close to bitcoin because I think other coins have a chance to compete with bitcoin. We all are passing through very competitive world. So, if the price of any other coin come closer to the bitcoin then I will not be wonder. But it will not be so easy. Many of us including me think that if it happen then only ETH can replace the position. But it have to raise twelve times and the price of bitcoin have to stable in this position. But it will not happen so easily. So, it will not happen very soon. We have to wait a long to see this situation.

It's true, there is no wonder. Nothing is eternal. Everything will be changed sooner or later. Look at the Dollar it was the best-valued currency all over the world until EURO introduced.

Like everyone said it is possible but right now it is hard to reach. Bitcoin did amazing last year and set the records so high for other coins to reach. Although a lot of coins right has a lot of potential but still it is not enough. Maybe years from now some coin will be able to break the records bitcoin has set.

It would very tough for other coins to reach that level of btc as btc has crossed 20k mark last year and even this is very rare that any other coin  to raise to that levels and set some new benchmarks. I would keep an Eumye on eth only which has got the potential after btc to reach that level, else I do not see any other coins coming near that level.

Also, this new technology always has better technology than the old one. But I think btc will still be king. It is considered as the gold of this market

I think the bitcoin will increase again. Because most pennies in the crypto market cannot replace bitcoin. Because bitcoin is king and most famous in the crypto market

I see its future still no one to match bitcoin, because after all the bitcoin is the parent of altcoin that exists today and it takes quite a long time to approach the value of bitcoin. but I believe that coin-coins such as BCH and ETH will be close to bitcoin values next year.

Of course no doubt bitcoin going to go up again after this correction evaluation of bitcoin after all this bitcoin going again into the normal price and all altcoins and token are going up also but I don't believe become closer their price to the king of coins.

To be honest, it is difficult to predict the price of altcoins at this stage because the market is still in the chaotic mode and we are not sure what is going to happen down the road in terms of legal and corporate point of view. However, I am expecting positive momentum for the crypto market as a whole in the coming decade but it is very difficult to predict the exact price of Bitcoin Altcoins at any given point.

Yeap, Future is always uncertain. No one can predict about future. But we can have some assumptions regarding the current situation. I also expect a positive and good momentum in the cryptocurrency market.

I don't think any coin will catch up with a Bitcoin as it is the first cryptocurrency in the world and most of the crypto investors and users trust in it. I agree because I think other coins like Ethereum can come closer to the value of Bitcoin if not next year maybe a couple more years to come. I am actually not checking the current status of each coin but I can see something like that will gonna happen in the near future. 1 year is to short time that current situation in the crypto market can change so much.
Bitcoin is still main entry point for many new users in the crypto world.
Also, mainstream media mostly report about bitcoin.
So, most people will still invest first in bitcoin and value will remain high.
In the long term, let's say 5-10 years, I believe that is possible that we will get new crypto world leader.

No other coin will be near to bitcoin if you are talking about the price of it. Price of bitcoin is comparatively high than altcoins.

For me not, in my opinion bitcoin was and will be always first on market thanks to more and more users who will be investing in bitcoin.

and regarding to close bitcoin values I find it hard, because I'm sure the bitcoin will rise again, and will rise next year's everyone's expectations.

I don't think it will possible for any coins to come closer to a price of even 5000 USD to challenge bitcoins supremacy in the cryptocurrency market. Some coins can appreciate in value and moon, but by the time it will get closer to bitcoins price , bitcoin too would have increase more than expected.

If other crypto currencies will approach the price of bitcoin, then bitcoin itself will grow and most likely the predominance of bitcoin will remain the same in the region of 30-40%.

I think many investors hope that bitcoin will soon rise. There are a lot of promising coins which have a fairly high chance to climb.

Since you are a newbie still you correct in prediction I believe, most of the newbies will go to sell the bitcoin but your expectation actually needed and true about the bitcoin market. I see many people does not have the correct understand on bitcoin that is the reason the volume has been reduced.

Please bear the current dump market. With in some months you will be find the bullish run in the price chart.
You will be get the enough growth on all the coins whatever you see in top 10 list.

lot of coins have better tech than BTC in another fuction, but as far they dont have better "group" behind it
it wont make that alt more valuable even it more usable than btc  ;D

because BTC is one that bring ALT, alt adpot btc tech in to it,

there are coins that near bitcoins, and xrp even surpass ETH, but for longterm i still think ETH is the number 2, cause many big company use ETH platform to make token for their project  ;D

I am not sure any other coin will rise close to the value of bitcoin even the most potential altcoin which is ethereum can try to but I doubt if it will move close to bitcoin value because the price of bitcoin is higher than other coin in crypto and it will continue to go higher when the market recover because its community will increase with new investors and this will help the price grow.

because since a few years before no one can cover bitcoin prices until now, even other coins are expected to replace bitcoin so far can not approach bitcoin prices, the price is still very far away and will not be able to replace bitcoin next year

BTC will never be able to close, if the BTC plays perhaps the other coin also loses all value. I think, BTC is the king of the Crypto market.

I think that’s hard to achieve for altcoins to come close near to bitcoins price not unless a certain altcoin will be created somewhat has the same features as that of bitcoin with much faster transactions. But I am sure bitcoin will rise up again, if not now maybe in the near future.

There are many altcoins available in the market with the cheap gas fee and faster than bitcoin transaction. Example, you can check the Segwit2X it is faster than bitcoin but it is ranking more than 100+ rank as of now.
Then kindly check the investors view of point, none of the bitcoin investors will be have focus on future as well.
Hopefully as you expect even I am waiting for the time to see the bitcoin over the 20k USD in the price chart.

If bitcoin does'nt make a move i bet you some coin will worth more than it value. With the way crypto is going now.

Bitcoin has big influence over the cryptomarket. As you can see, when Bitcoin skyrocketed last year, other coins also increased; and when Bitcoin plummeted, others plunged. It seems to me that Bitcoin's price decides the others' prices. Even in the long term, not just 1 year as you suggest, Bitcoin's price is still by far higher than the others'.

if you did really dig deeper like back tracking charts and all you should be able to answer your own question. Do not get me wrong man this have been ask all the time and is mostly asked by newbies, If you look closely a few years back Bitcoin stays the number one coin when it comes to value, and based how the market goes it will stay like that for atleast the next five year to be objective and according to forecast too. now I am not saying there is no chance that other altcoin can reach or surpassed bitcoin's current value but it has to be one major event for that to happen.

as i think etherum could be a candidate to do this.
but its also an calculation between coin value and price...

Bitcoin leads the crypto market. As it goes up in value, so will most of the other altcoins. It is unlikely that any other coin will surpass bitcoin but other top coins like Ethereum can come close to it from time to time.

yes i think 4 or 5 may come close, over the next few years you will see a lot of the hyped no substance projects fade to zero and the real blockchain projects emerge

If the big ETH is far behind, how about the other altcoins, even Ripple was rumored to replace the position of ETH & BTC still cannot match the ETH market cap. Maybe someday, but not next year for other coins price to be close to Bitcoin’s price, for now the growth of crypto market will boost the growth of Bitcoin’s price, vice versa.

As of now I don't see any coin can close to bitcoin because bitcoin is on a higher level and bitcoin is main vmcoin of all coin in crypto.  Even some will go up the price I think no coins can beat the price of bitcoin unless bitcoin go to bottom.

There is always a possibility for growth and there is always that chance that a new altcoin can grow bigger that other altcoins. But for bitcoin i do not think so. Bitcoin is already established as they say. Faced a lot of challenges and still overcoming market challenge and as it surpass all of those it becomes more credible. now that alone is not easy to overcome by others, same goes with its value and price.

I hope some coins can catch the price of bitcoin and be more free in the future. I think the coins should be more independent from the price movements of the bitcoin.

I have been here in crypto for almost a year now and that question is always popping everywhere. In my own thoughts that scenario is very possible but it would not happen very soon. ETH which is very capable of dethroning BTC is very far behind and it is dropping also.

If any crypto has the potential to approach to Bitcoin’s position next year, it is going to be ETH. Because ETH is one of the currencies that has the second most market cap in the crypto market. Besides, it has the ability to attract some good and potential investors into the market and has had a good demand in the market. Litcoine is also growing and we can expect the top four crypto currencies in the market to go up.

I hope they will come forward and do some competition with BTC but my concern about the quality of ther coins. If BTC lost 5% of its value then other coin lost 10%.

maybe not gonna happen if some coins will go to bitcoin value, but some coins when listed on exchange it is more expensive than bitcoin. but only a little. right condition that can make old coins have same value with bitcoin maybe when bitcoin price down really fast

everything can be happen in cryptocurrency, but i think it is very long way to get altcoins price close to bitcoins price. since bitcoin are the cryptocurrency's trademark and most of peoples knew very well about bitcoin rather than other coins. need for some fresh new idea to implement even more sophisticated than blockchain technology. and might be used by everyone for daily payment. in outline, the curreny that can replace fiat for daily use.

i think its not possible in next year, may be 4 year or more, now altcoin market is depend on bitcoin market, because all exchanger use btc pair for trading..

Yeap , I also think that in few years other cryptocurrency will surplus the BTC. But at this time BTC has to rise soon so that people's confidence regain on cryptocurrency market.

I did some research and analysis.  All the time I came to end a same result that is BTC is the king. But I expect to see some competition in the cryptocurrency market. This is the reason I asked this question . Thanks for the reply.

Ether may be the biggest competitor with Bitcoin but even Ether's price is far from near Bitcoin's price. Plus, I don't see any motivations having enough ability to spark Altcoin's surge in price that make them surpass Bitcoin.

Whether bitcoins go up this year or not is unpredictable but even that won't Altcoin are far from keeping up with it. I mean the gap price is too large to bridge. Addtitionally, to buy other digital currencies, you have to pay in Ether of Bitcoin. Accordingly, Bitcoin's demand is always higher than the others'. So I come to conclude that Bitcoin will outdistance all other coins for many years to come.

Unless an awful sudden shock happens to Bitcoin, there will be no chance for that anytime soon like the next year. Altcoins's rise seems unsustainable since they're only used to speculate, meaning that they don't have as high real value as Bitcoin.

I think bitcoin will remain the King of crypto and do not see any other coins getting anywhere close to its value in the next year. Ethereum will probably remain second most valuable at approximately 10-15% of bitcoin value. This has typically been the way it works. When bitcoin jumps or drops, altcoins follow suit.

I think the opposite. The price of bitcoin is always moving and the price of the altcoin is moving along the same trend. Although anything is possible in the crypto market, it is very difficult for any coin to catch up with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is in a bear market right now and despite of it's low price it still is at $6000 which no other coin has even crossed even half of this price. Bitcoin has been in the market for a long time and this is what has become the reason for its high price. ETH is a the second best coin and even then it is less than $1000k price. So surpassing Bitcoin is a very difficult thing and will take a lot of years to happen.

Yes , you are right.  It is not easy to surpass the BTC with this conventional cryptocurrency such as ETH . I think a new technology and better idea than BTC cryptocurrency can play a  vital role to improve the cryptocurrency market forever.

Because of the amount of use it can have and the growing need for it, I think ETH will keep pace with bitcoin as it has done so far, but if they find any way to verify or regulate so much ICO scam out there, I see the price of ETH going up like foam.

Crypto growth in this year is getting slow just because they are affected by scam projects flooded in the market.  Of course,  will take some precautions before doing investment but still sometime they fall into nothing. No doubt it could affect in the future trend of crypto. We couldn't stand alone with the help of investors and users as well.

Looking in the list of all digital currencies, we can see how big bitcoin's gap to Ethereum on the market capitalization and price columns that's even very obvious already for a long time. So, i don't think that there's any other alternate coin(s) too that come close to bitcoin's market price alone because we know that it took so many years for bitcoin to reach that market price.

2019 is only 6 months away and yet ETH is no where near to BTC with regards to its price. If price of bitcoin goes up, eth follows and so with the other way around. ETH exists only in the shadows of bitcoin thus i think that it would not beat btc with regards to its prices nor will it come near it come 2019.

This is the main problem for the cryptocurrency platform. All the cryptocurrencies stays behind the BTC. That is why this market is so volatile. To make this market stable and sustainable other cryptocurrencies have to come out from the shadow of BTC.

Well there is a chance. It may go either way whether bitcoin will be devalued in which its price would go down so other coins would be able to get near its value or its value would go up and other coins would go up as well and it would go near its value. There are many coins at the moment even thousands of them and if it will be able to have the support of its community and will be really useful thus an increase in demand then there is even a possibility that it would be able to take over the position of bitcoin being the king of crypto.

BTC will remain the king for some years to come atleast and not or say hardly any coin can have such a huge momentum in so short while. It is difficult, if for a short time to value any altcoin can compete with BTC is impossible, now only ETH or BCH can compete with BTC, but for a long time, present or year After that they can not.

I see the graph of altcoins is still following the Bitcoin’s price movement, which means the crypto market is more likely to be proportional to what happen to the Bitcoin’s market, as Bitcoin is the main pillar that sustains the crypto market. Because nothing is impossible, so there will be an altcoin that will replace Bitcoin as the main pillar or at least become a companion pillar that will become Bitcoin's main rival in the future.

There is already a contradiction in your question. You ask whether other coins will approach the value of bitcoin if bitcoin rises again. If bitcoin will grow in price, then of course, no one will be able to approach it, because there is a big gap between it and other crypto-currencies both in price and in capitalization. Other coins will be able to approach it only if the bitcoin itself falls very rapidly in value and then its capitalization drops. There are no other options yet. No coins yet have a chance to rise to the height of bitcoin.

Many thread asking like this but we always answer with the same answer.  For me no one can close to bitcoin value or price because bitcoin is main coin of all coin in cryptocurrency so bitcoin will be grow more and nothing beats it.

What you say is true but the one discussed here is the possibility of Bitcoin being replaced by altcoin instead of discussing Bitcoin's past.
If this bearish trend keeps going this will weaken another coins, the big one will remain standing while the shitcoins will collapse.

I'm on the same perspective as yours sir. I love both bitcoin and ethereum. I do believe that there is nothing can come close to bitcoin other than ethereum. Maybe ethereum can't beat bitcoin but still I do support it as it makes the crypto market a lively interest.

While there is a price dominance of bitcoin over other types of crypto currency, until then no single coin can approach the bitcoin price. The gap between the price of bitcoin and the rest of the crypto currency can only be reduced if bitcoin itself loses part of its capitalization and also falls in price. While other options I do not see.

Maybe there will be some other coins or new coins which can approach the value of bitcoin. However to close the value of bitcoin it seems that thing's very impossible will occur, because as we know, bitcoin's the only major coin and serves as a defense for the existence of all crypto currencies spread on this earth.

You have more fun and comedy sense I believe. How do you expect the unknown crypto currency to reach the market well and good. There is not even 1 percentage possibility to grow near to bitcoin. There are some cryptocurrencies higher than ethereum in the market but rank and supply wise they are not in the top rank so far.
You may suggest those kind of project also, we may take in consideration. Next to bitcoin, ethereum is the only coin we can accept it have potential to increase in that level. Others zero.

Anything can happen on crypto which either altcoins will able to catch up on the price or not on next years but basing on the timeframe it wont really be that easy. Checking out the current dominance of bitcoin in the entire market it is 53.4% as of this writing which means people do highly trust bitcoin and 6k usd price wont really be that easy to catch up even ETH wont able to attain that price easily.
