Title: Assurance contracts
Post by: t2k on February 08, 2014, 05:45:00 AM
I'm interested in the bitcoin Script language - looking for someone who can comment on the potential implementation of assurance contracts described here:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Contracts#Example_3:_Assurance_contracts

Is something like this possible on the bitcoin network today?

The simplest example I think everyone understands is the kickstarter model... People promise to contribute variable amounts of money until a total promised amount has been reached, at which point all the transactions go through.

Thanks!
