If your status is Member or higher and your merit is 5+ you can join the promotion.

In answer to the question how we will send you the Levitate coins;
after this pre-launch promotion has ended and we have released the Levitate wallets,
you can send me one more PM with your Levitate walletaddress,
and the coins are send to your walletaddress.

I think you should have also posted details about the project here, why it will be unique and worthwhile project and why we would like to hold the tokens of this project? Also it would have been better if you had posted important links like website and announcement thread links.

Wallet setup.exe has been deemed unsafe and a potential thread by virus total..

Any specific reason why?  ???

i also scanned all the different files and also the source code...
all of them are infact infected!
 also ...
the wallets are over 9 years behind to sync?
something seems very wrong about this?

There are no viruses in the wallets. Many virusscanners give false alerts on coin wallets. Levitate is a bitcoin fork, please do not panic, read the information on the website and use the seednodes.

He is right about most wallets coming up as false positives. Just go scan the Litecoin wallet with VirusTotal and look at what all comes up with that. However, that does not mean the wallet is clean. Usually they'll come up as potentially unwanted programs or Bitcoin miner when it detects them. I have barely looked at the wallet, so I can't gurantee that it is completely clean, but it does look safe. Just run it in a virtual machine. That's where I keep my Windows wallets. Or you can use the Linux on Windows terminal and compile it there. It's done the same way you would compile any other Ubuntu wallet. I did not get in the airdrop for this coin nor am I invested in it in any way. So my opinion on the wallet is unbiased.

sandboxing in a normal part of this culture! and even compiling it from a dirty source will still give a dirty compile.
i already compiled it on a totally different platform from what the dev offers for his wallets and it still comes up dirty...

I would not spend one second for such coins even they send me free coins, downloading the wallet may cost you a lot. Sorry LVT is whole risk now  :)

@above, thank you for checking, that is a good thing. The code will be cleaned in the next version.

If you look at the results of your virus check, you read they are not mentioning a virus, but a miner program, and that is correct, you can mine LVT very easily with your Levitate wallet.

Hopefully you are not secretely mining LVT yourself, while trying to scare others away from mining?

Please post in the ANN from now on, as this was a pre-launch thread. The Levitate thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4180752.0
