Title: 2 x R9 280X
Post by: xorion on February 08, 2014, 04:24:35 PM
I'm intending to build a 2 x R9 280X with 850W PSU - which mobo CPU should I get?

Where should I mine for most profits?

pretty much any mobo will run 2 cards - if You don't plan to expand, that is :)
if You intend to use it only for mining then get cheapest parts:

there is a nice guide there

It does not make sense to mine Bitcoin with GPUs. This is one of the more profitable altcoin pools I have found:

Get a AMD motherboard with at least 2 pci-e x16 slots. A Sempron processor is all you need to mine.

Try middlecoin or multipool, you will be able to mine the most profitable scrypt coins automatically....

Try poolwarz
and get a mobo that can take up to 5 or 6 PCIe Vcards. Just in case you want to upgrade your miner :)
And check coinwarz to see the most profitable scrypt altcoin to mine. (i had amazing results with dogecoin for example, now i'm mining coino)
