Title: Many ICOs look exactly like Banks 2.0 why do ICOs then?
Post by: KingScorpio on June 28, 2018, 02:11:22 AM
i increasingly observe, that many icos look exactly like banks with their financial products,

they even use the same language, same legal references, etc.

the team dresses same like the banksters.

i wonder why bother with an ICO in the first place? whats the use of that, when the landscape looks the same,

i rather expect a lot of confusion for those uninvolved and those they want to sell their token to.

didnt people support bitcoin because it was anti banks, because it was different?

regards

Finally someone who gets it.

If Satoshi managed to create bitcoin without running an ICO (as far as we know) then It should be possible for other projects as well but as you can see, these developers are not driven by passion like Core developers for example, It's just about the money. Most of these projects fail to deliver.

didnt people support bitcoin because it was anti banks, because it was different?

And as for this part, It sure used to be but It's not the case anymore. It's all about making money now which is sad.

Most ICOs this days it all about making money but there are still genuine out there. However, I don't see anything bad if we have some project in cryptocurrency spheres that work like bank since they deliver their promises by bridge the gap which the banking sector ignore concerning cryptocurrency and fiat transaction.

We all come from different region and some region it hard for them to invest, buy or trade crypto currency.

Is the profit you get from ICO bad? And people usually invest in bitcoin for profit, not for other reasons. Also they don't wear as banksters, they wear officially as needed, I think it won't be good to see someone with ripped shorts and painted t-shirts. You need to be formal.
Main idea is profit and not all ICO is the same, some of them are really great, different and unique.
