EFF Challenges New Jersey Subpoena Issued to MIT Student Bitcoin Developers

This was an interesting read.  Would you exchange a small amount of your CPU time (mining) in exchange for removing advertisements?  I think I would give it a try.

"Tidbit uses a client's computer to mine for Bitcoins as an alternative to website advertising: in exchange for removing ads from a website, a user would give some CPU cycles to mine for Bitcoins instead."

I like their idea and would use it on websites loaded with ads. It's a much better alternative that allows me to still provide revenue to a website vs just blocking ads.

If this subpoena is allowed to stand it, will NJ be able to randomly subpoena people in other states? What a joke.
