HTTP POST will probably be the easiest to work with in JS, you send data as x-form-urlencoded and receive it back as a simple XML document without all the SOAP data. How many strings are there exactly, and are there any strings that are placed in size-sensitive positions (fixed-width buttons, etc.)?

How many strings are there exactly, and are there any strings that are placed in size-sensitive positions (fixed-width buttons, etc.)? Remember that javascript restricts cross domain requests, so it will have to reside on your server (well, under the same domain, but that's likely to be the same thing in this case) in order to work.
