I learned English a lot better because of video games!! Ever since I was a kid, all I did was play games on the PS and my PSP. Gaming has good effects after all  ;D

To be honest, I agree with Squishy01. I also learned english from video games. It is when I played DOTA Frozen Throne. I've read a lot to improve my game. Lol

I watched anime, since there's a subtitle there i would search the word i didnt understand since i liked the show. With this I learned so many new vocabulary words that i can use in the future times. You can also try searching for new words and try to post them in your room, and try to use them in your daily basis, do this every day.

I actually found a website called Core Sound English but the lessons there are for Korean. Basically, what they do is help you pronounce your English better by shadowing to your favorite movie lines. I really find it interesting that I suggest you do the same. You can enjoy while learning at the same time.

I am suprised that so many recommends subtitels for english viewing content, you will learn way more english without using subtitels. Look up the teaching company it could expand things. If you live abroad or have in the past and have studied english it can easily become an obsession because it dominates on so many aspects of the world today, it can also overtake your first language depending on how you get addicted to it.

Travel or live longer periods of time in an english speaking country will also of course speed things, english will always be the dominant language in the world because of its rich content. The most difficult thing can be getting rid of accent area. Listening to vocal songs with good lyrics will help a lot in learning new words and meanings.
