This depends on the set fee, and if your GAS set is high, the charge will also be high.
You can check here for the current fee.

I do not like the transfer of ethereum tokens and the use of MEW for these transfers. It has a complex and seemingly insecure structure.

When you doing some transactions in Myetherwallet it depends on the volume on how many tokens do you want to transfer and also it depends on the gas limit or set up of your gas, if you want to fast transactions you set it on high so it will transac fast but for me i only set on automatic and im just waiting for it atleast 1hr and my transaction already done.

You need some eth to cover the gas/transaction fee to generate transaction to transfer a certain coin. You can adjust gwei and gas to high for faster transaction. Any exceeded amount will be back to your balance. If the transaction failed the eth you used as gas fee will be deducted.

You do not have to buy any thing, just make sure that you have some ETH left in your wallet to complete the transaction, if there is no ETH left to cover the transaction your transfer will fail and you will not get back the amount of ETH you paid for gas . Now how much ETH you should maintain in your wallet to transfer tokens and ETH successfully ? The answer is, it is not fixed amount but overall to transfer ETH is much cheaper than transferring tokens due to the nature of tokens and the need to initiate the original smart contract .

Quick steps :

1- Open your MEW and select the token/coin you need to transfer .
2- Open ethgasstation.info and check the gas price you should use . ( if safelow and standard is close then just use safelow) ( You can adjust your gas price at the top from down arrow )
3- leave gas limit as default if you are sending ETH. But if you are sending tokens you better ask for the best gas limit . ( set the gas limit high wont hurt you the extra gas always sent back to your wallet)
4- make sure that you have enough ETH left in your wallet to cover the gas price. ( leaving 0.01 is more than enough to cover the gas) usually you will end up just paying 0.001 or even less .
5- make sure that the destination address is correct . ( or else you might lose your ETH/tokens )
6- press send and enjoy  ;)

Every time we transfer Ether or tokens from ether wallet to other wallets or exchanges, the transaction fee/s is depending on the gas price and the gwei of your transaction. The higher the gas price, the higher will be the transaction fee.But the higher it is, the faster it can send to other exchange's wallets. The transaction fee/s cannot be exceed .001 ether.

(…) The transaction fee/s cannot be exceed .001 ether.

Really, are you sure about that? This is the first time I hear of this and it seems a bit odd... Do you have a source for that? Or is it MyEtherWallet prohibiting using more than X amount of Gwei?

The transaction fee can exceed that as it totally depends on how congested the network is at the time you are transacting. There is no fixed price at all for transaction fee and I believe those who made transactions during the crypto kittens saga will know better.

This depends on the set fee, and if your GAS set is high, the charge will also be high.

Gas limit is dependent on the network congestion at the time you are making the transaction. By congestion, I am referring to the number of transactions going on per second waiting for confirmation. The more the congestion, the more the fee you will have to pay if you want you want your transaction to be fast during these periods, and this is applied to the protocol simply to prevent network spamming.

This is a very good suggestion and I hope it is a very useful that will help make a successful transfer if all steps are followed appropriately and avoid making any mistake.

it's very cheap when you already have ETH in your wallet, but if you don't
you have to transfer ETH into that wallet to paid the fee.
the fee to transfer token is often very cheap. with 1$ worth of ETH you can transfer up to 10 times if you choose slow mode ^^

I am providing you a link you can get the recent fees information there https://ethgasstation.info/. Moreover, you will be charged high if your GAS set is high.

That's an informative post. For transactions in Myetherwallet , it depends on the amount of your coins and the amount of gas. If you have higher amount to transact , more gas is required.

So most of the time you just have to set 20Gas, which is a reasonable number.
So most of the time this number is packaged very quickly.

Dear all,
The transactions are needed for everyone to trade. The transaction fee from myetherwallet to other exchanges is up to the exchanges. It depends on the policies, the business trens, the market, and the countries that they deploy.

When doing any transfer from myetherwallet to other exchanges how much will i be charged.
This depends on the processing speed of the Ethereum network. At low gas prices, there are times when gas is very high.

OP is actually asking on how much will he be spending on a transaction.
If not familiar with the terms gas or gwei, you can use this calculator to know how much the fee is in ETH :
https://ethgasstation.info/calculatorTxV.php
Normally, sending transactions won't cost you a dollar. :)

the minimum fee is around 20 cents.
if you need to speed up the transaction you can pay more. Miner will take your transaction first.

Actually when you’re transacting through Myetherwallet it relies upon the volumes. On what number of tokens would you like to exchange and furthermore it relies upon how much you want to set and the limit of your gas. It will also depend on how much rater or fee the coin charge for doing transactions.

for today there is some problem with the payment for each transaction in the network block chain. If you take for example the IDEX exchange, even with the deposit some transactions hang.

It depends on the gas you'll be using. If you want to make a faster transaction the you can set the gas price and gwei  higher than the standard price of gas or you can make less if you want to thrift but it would take a little time for the transaction to be finished and received your tokens.

It depends on how fast you need for the transaction. The higher the gas, the faster the transaction like bitcoin transaction. It is also depends on network traffic. If the network is congested,  it usually needs a higher gas fee than the normal gas fee.

Ethereum's network congestion is now a common phenomenon. Just before last year, Ethereum rarely experienced congestion. At that time, the transfer fee was very low. Now you have to increase the gas to get faster transaction speed.

On the Internet there is always a counter that will count you the transaction and prompt you for the recommended number gwei!

If you have time you can choose 1-3 Gwei as price for gas. Yes, it will be slow but as I say if you have time. But the smartest way is using https://ethgasstation.info and looks at recommended Gas price.

As was mentioned before you can take current gas price on gasstation. It will be enough to send your eth in not a long time. Need to transfer it faster - set more gas. Simple.

Knowing this information would be the good answer for OP, he needed to read and choose whatever type of speed he needs so it will be appropriate
with how much fee he needs to pay in order to execute the transaction that he request, better to keep in mind that there are differences between the
needs of each transactions and also with how long it will take inside the network, that's why we need to choose from those available offers.

of course the cost of gas to make transactions will vary depending on the type of altcoin and to further ensure it you can check it here https://ethgasstation.info/. because the usual gas is always changing depending on the crowded pending transactions

Adjusting the gas too high does not necessarily mean. Most of the time, when you are making transactions via MEW, MEW automatically sets the limit to the current network fee you will have to pay for your transaction and that is usually good enough since you will get your transaction confirmed within minutes.

The only problem you will have is adjusting it downward, as that would for sure slow down the confirmation process unless you just simply do not need to do anything immediately.

You will pay a relatively small price for your transaction. On average, the transaction costs less than 1$, but this depends on the workload of the Ethereum network, as well as the amount of your transfer.

Transfer fees are still high for today.

If you want to transfer to an exchange, let the storm calm down so the fees will be lowered and you won't regret the fee you paid for.
