What's wrong with her? She's great in Leon.

You can find much worse, like that blonde from the last Transformers movie.

It is unfortunate, she can only hide behind her beauty for so long.
Maybe voice-over acting is more her thing.

Is it bad of me to say that I find most of these famous actors that everybody loves generic or actually not very good at what they do and always try to put this deep and meaningful spin on everything they do for the sake of impressing people?

That is their job: to impress and reflect human nature.

Life is really stranger than fiction and while actors do their best to project everyday madness to the best of their personal experience, many just need to quit.

This is sad but let's admit it - very few young actors are good.

I know the reply is a bit late, but they're doing a shitty job of it and don't seem very convincing, plus I thought an actors job was to 'act', you know, act out there role rather than be a role model like the majority of them are trying to be now? :P

On the bright side I think I know now why I like older movies/t.v shows and anime so much now.

There are far worse actors than Natalie Portman about. Actors who essentially just play themselves in movies annoy me, but that's why I have greater appreciation of actors who tend to completely transform themselves with each role.

All these type of movies follow the same formula. They always have a love interest no matter how cliche are unbelievable.

I've seen the first Thor but won't be seeing the second.

If only she could do something along the lines of Black Swan but a bit more out of character. Having her work with a reputable director on an interesting project would help in selling me a ticket.

It's edited to make it atrociously long (cut to faces in the crowd), but her original laugh itself was super drawn out... And a bit creepy.
