You know her better than I, but what she is saying appears to have nothing to do with religion, she is pointing to the need for emotional support. ("It's going to be alright" in this context means "I will take care of you.) An anonymous currency like bitcoin, though I find it fascinating, disconnects us from communal interaction. This also has practical implications (we can't trust each other, "everybody's a scammer," massive friction in economic transactions, etc.), but what your Mom is pointing out is that it's very lonely. Express your feelings to her, don't gossip about her to us. She cares about you. We are just words on a screen to you.
