I have an old p5k board https://www.asus.com/media/global/products/yS3ZeqfUdCTCIFT2/P_500.jpg (p35 chipset) and I am considering buying one of these guys http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mabna2--yC1llvenY13iULA.jpg to add another gpu. The problem is that I read about the need to short certain pins on the x1 slot because of the outdated mobo. Can you tell me exactly how to do that with these extenders? Also I will be plugging it x1 to x1. thanks alot |
