Was wondering if it is possible to add a 1 or 2 radeon cards to my current pc that has a nvidia. Nvidia for gaming and radeon for mining? Is it possible? try to keep the one next to your nvidia card empty and put the amd cards in the other slots i would also just install the driver under device manager, dont run the full installer for the amd/ati cards because i know the nvidia installer already loads a GUI util on boot , you dont want both running. also on cgminer i think is the command line switch -d 0 and -d 1 you will need to check the scrypt-readme to make sure you are able to disable the nvidia card from being mined on good luck !!! I currently have a p7h57d-v evo motherboard which has 2 pciex16 and 3 pciex1 slots am going to have 2 gtx 780 in the pciex16 and am wondering if adding 1 to 3 cards connected to the pciex1 via pciex16 to pciex1 powered riser would be okay or am i risking the motherboard being unstable? What do I risk? My current psu suppport quad sli/crossfire but i will be using a separate psu for the additional Vcards. Thanks Title: Re: Adding radeon card with a nvidia card in one pc?
