PHASE is a community masternode coin, based on a new algoritm named TRIhash which is currently still in beta.
We will soon be forking from the old protoncoin chain using this new algoritm. The fork height will be at 90.000 blocks.
Everyone will be able to download the new wallet and miner beforehand on the new upcoming website.
Due to the fork, old masternodes of 5k proton won't be accepted by the network anymore and will cease to receive payments. Until then, they will continue working as usual.

PHASE will become a 3-level tiered masternode coin which can be used for fast and anonymous payments.
The new algoritm will provide fair mining and is ASIC resistant.

With the change of the wallet ,your PROTON will become PHASE.Your  old PROTON wallet will be rejected from the network at block 86k.
Please update your wallet as soon as possible.

First level:
Collateral of 10.000PHASE
Will have the known reward of 42,5PHASE.

Second level:
Collateral of 20.000PHASE
Which will give you 2.2 times more chances of being rewarded with 42,5PHASE when a block is mined.

Third level:
Collateral of 30.000PHASE
Which will give you 3.6 times more chances of getting rewarded when a block is mined.

Install instructions:
Windows
 Find the ProtonCore in your pc, it should be in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming
1/ backup your wallet.dat and backups folder in ProtonCore folder
then exit wallet if it is running
2/rename ProtonCore to PhaseCore
3/rename proton.conf to phase.conf
then run the new wallet
if incorrect genesis error is popup
delete everything except wallet.dat and phase.conf and masternode.conf
edit phase.conf
and add:
addnode=80.211.25.138
then start up the wallet again

 Linux
stop daemon before doing the wallet change
-same process as windows ,the protoncore is located in root


-The tiered MN will be activated at block 85k and at block 86k the old wallet  will be disconnected. When we reach block 90k, the founders rewards will quick in and the old MN will get dropped of the network. Lastly, at block 100k the block reward will be reduced by 30% which will happen every 90k blocks.

1/stop the proton daemon:

2/come to the root
cd /root
3/
a/Download installing script file

b/Make the script executable
chmod 740 phasecoin_mn.sh
c/Run the script to install
./phasecoin_mn.sh
 

3/after the install script is finished, you ll have to copy and paste the new masternode genkey generated by the script in your masternode.conf line in your pc s wallet.Save and restart your pc s wallet
4/start your mn from the wallet
5/check in your vps if the masternode has started

Talked with support, they reported that the developer is fixing something, and that's working....

Hi all, I was banned from PHASE discord and my msg deleted. Do not follow script or enforce blockchain to whatever they wanted to be; That will do the same as saying all are wrong, and when everybody is wrong except you that means you are just centralized and dont care about community. All sites MNO and Exchanges and MinerPools are now in the wrong side accordind to CEO only the stupid explorer that is not even a wallet is the owner of the concesus true. So if all do as they want they all end up alone, no miners, no exchanges, no MN's, no nothing.

The bicoin SW should do the work alone, one cannot start saying everybody is on the wrong chain?!? there is no rigth or wrong chain, there is the consensos chain's ones bigger than other, and once you say everybody is on the wrong chain, that means you are alone...
If all nodes just keep running the sw will ban itself the dictator-Explorer that they want you to follow, and that will ban every single exchange or MNO service you have.

Good luck, and that True consensus chain wins...

For people that use terms like "Violent take over" and complain about the collateral change. I can understand your frustration, but in case you weren't following what happened in the recent month:

Proton was a project with one dev that left and scammed his community and investors basically, the price went through a huge dump (0.0000008btc for a proton) and people lost huge amounts of their investment. Dev decided to leave, and abandon the coin. So we obviously faced a dilemma either we don't do anything and everybody loses everything OR we discuss as a community and we build a team of "volunteer" people to make the project revive again.

After weeks if not month of discussion and votes we decided to:

Rename the coin
Change the collateral
Introduce a tier system

We voted every specification, logo, name etc, everything was decided by the community, a community of People that were abandonned by Proton's dev...

So I understand your frustration because you used to have a MN with 5K coins and now you at least need 10K, but I believe you should see it in this perspective:

Before the community takeover (and if we haven't done anything) your 5K MN would be worth something like 30$ and it was even going lower... to eventually the death of the coin and your MN would be worth nothing. Now thanks to our community work and everybody's time and dedication at least your Phase coin are worth something and you have a great project and roadmap to look forward, we are delivering on everything we promised we will deliver, we will make something out of this coin and we will give it a purpose as stated in the first post of this topic. So yeah technically if you have 5K of Proton (now Phase) you can't have a MN, but at least we save your investment that you almost lost... and the price is still currently quite affordable and purchasing the extra 5k shouldn't cost that much. Or you can just use a shared Masternode service or team-up with somebody else to have a masternode. There is plenty of solutions.

And to answer the "violent", it tooks weeks for us to realise that the Dev just dissapeared and sold his Proton coins and scammed us, by us i mean all investors, I'm somebody that trusted like you in Proton at some point. Then we just decided all together on discord to create a team with anybody that will feel like helping and search solution to revive the project. We voted on every specifications, we all agreed on what to do to give a future to this project and I believe we are on the right path. The other solution was purely and simply to stay on the other chain and have Proton coin that are worth nothing without a team or a roadmap anymore... without a purpose basically.

People make me laugh. Violent overthrow!! How dramatic. In reality, pretty much all of these coins follow the same rules, the longest chain will win out. The old wallet is no longer being supported by the developer. Do you want to stay on that chain? Go ahead.

In any event, my pool will support the new algorithm and wallet in the next week or so.

 With the recent wallet change CB are unwilling to update their systems at this time without charging us a considerable sum of BTC for which their are no funds available to the team to pay for such things YET.
 Accordingly as of the 15th July the CB PROTON ticker will need to be suspended (no deposits/no withdrawals) which is likely to be for a few weeks.
 We recommend you withdraw your PHASE/PROTON coins from your CB accounts to your local wallets OR to Graviex before this date, this way you can be assured your coin will not be locked up in CB.

@everyone We have a new (not mandatory) update for the wallet. Due to unforeseen circumstances in the GPU kernel code, the GPU miner won't be ready on time.
Nevertheless this also creates opportunities, as of now you can CPU mine PHASE yourself!
In the most recent update (2.1.2 v2) you'll be able to monitor your hashrate.

"TriHash mining algorithm is inspired by X16r algorithm, which is created by
RavenCoin, and X16s algorithm, which is created by Pigeon coin. The goal of
this algo is to combine best of both the worlds by combining logic of x16r and
x16s with an additional haval256 algorithm to make asic harder to implement it.

This algorithm consists of 17 algorithms. 16 algorithms from x16r and x16s, and
haval256 as 17th one. These algorithms are chained together in both random
and scramble fashion to provide extra level of difficulties in making an asic. The
algorithm uses last 35 nibble of previous block hash, which is 17.5 bytes to
determine the order of the 17 algorithms in a chain fashion. It uses the 35th
nibble (hex digit) to pick whether it scramble the hash first before using the hash
to determine chain ordering. If it is even then it scrambles, other wise keeps the
hash as is.
Each nibble is a hex number which can only represent 16 numbers (0-f). The last
17 nibbles are pair with the 31st - 47th nibble to formulate number from 0-g. This
number is then used to pick the algorithm to put in the chain. If the 31st -47th
nibble are odd, then it adds 1 to its respective pair. Following is how they are
paired:

We are happy to announce our first bounty campaign!!
This will be an invite a friend bounty, but probably not as you know it.
For EACH friend you invite into our discord, you will receive 10 PHASE.
Each time you reach a multiple of 10 successful invites, you will receive
an additional 50 PHASE.
Every 3 weeks on Sunday we'll announce a winner with the most invites.
The winner will receive 500 PHASE!!!
That's also the date we'll pay out everyone else who has joined the bounty campaign.
We really want to grow our community, once we have enough members we'll start with our second campaign.

Some basic rules:

- Friends have to stay at least 3 weeks on the PHASE discord server
- You don't need a minimum of friends to be able to join. For EACH friend you invite you get 10 PHASE.
- NO FAKE  friends, you will be banned and stripped from all your invites!
- When there is a tie the 500 PHASE will be split into the amount of people that are tied.
- We have an invite bot installed to check and validate invites.
- You have to create your own invitation link in this PHASE server, best is to create a permanent one.   The bot will keep track. If you don't know how we'll be glad to help.
- We'll pin commands in #invite-campaign , which you can use to view your progress.
- If you want to participate in the bounty send an email with your discord name and wallet address to invitecampaign@phase.zone or post your wallet address in the #invite-campaign.
- Emails sent to the above address will not be used for anything else.

First rewards will be on 7 October 2018.
