Title: Pitbull Wallet - Cold storage of digital wallets and passwords
Post by: Joaommp on February 10, 2014, 10:51:07 AM
Hi guys,

I'd like to share with you the latest project of our R&D non-profit, the Pitbull Wallet

It's a device meant to be an alternate way to store off-line passwords and digital wallets. It's sized and shaped as a credit card and the embedded keyboard and e-paper screen allow you to browse and store your keys.

Take a better look at it here: http://pitbull.ondatechnology.org/ (http://pitbull.ondatechnology.org/)

It's currently under campaign on IndieGoGo, so go over there and make your contribution so you can get yours!

I know this did not get much press, but we plan to use this wallet in tandem with our web wallet and cold storage system if they achieve funding. Please support their indiegogo campaign.

Hi apetersson

Sorry for the late reply, I had forgot to get this thread under watch.

From the manufacturing standpoint, everything is pretty much ready to go. The only thing that could cause delays now is the supply of e-paper screens, as there has been a huge demand for the size we use.

The manufacturer has ok'd the software and the manufacturing process. If no delays from component suppliers take place, then, in principle, delivery of the finished product should start around mid-end august this year.

The product is actually quite simple and is going to be manufactured by a company which already manufactures similar and even more complex products for VISA and Mastercard.

I hope this answers your questions

Best regards
