Here are my daily NCAA basketball and football pix.  I go through all games on a daily basis and select the ones I feel are best.  I encourage you to take my filtered pix and go through them yourself to see which ones you like and go with them!  I usually take 1-4 parlays on my pix including one parlay with all selections.  Anyway hopefully a few of you will follow along.

Are you betting these lines or just picking winners on this forum?

I know I posted something a little bit ago and I emphasize again I mean no disrespect (text can be read one way or another), I just don't understand the method you're taking.  If you bet $10 per ML tonight, you would be risking $461.05 to win $60.  Doesn't that seem a bit risk heavy?

Maybe you should have read the reply I wrote to you on the other thread as well as the first post explaining how I bet and seeing that I bet PARLAYS.  Here I will make it really easy for you and paste the answer I gave you before:

@j3steven I would totally agree with you if I were betting straight bets but that is why I mentioned a little thing called a Parlay.  I usually only bet straight on the "Upset Pix" and yes that was not a HUGE upset but it was still an upset, I dont schedule the games, just pick the winners.  All but one of these bets (Wisconsin Green Bay) were available ML today on Nitrogen Sports.  I dont want people to blindly take my bets just because I said so.  I put them here as input and hope everyone does their own research as well.  Also, I dont plan on losing 1 in 6 very often... After today I have enough winnings to lose every bet for 2 weeks straight and still be up.  Feel free to post your favorite pix here.

Once again, I will put this pretty straight forward for you so you can stop making these posts just to try and get people not to look at my pix and go look at yours... I BET PARLAYS PARLAYS PARLAYS PARLAYS PARLAYS and I make a profit!!!!

would be better if you put how many "units" are you possitive ,that record tells nothing,  if you are 50-0 but with only 1.050 odds games, its the same as 5-0 with 1.950.

I have to agree with the people questioning the value of Ryan's picks. Ryan you can't just post these picks and say yeah you do a parlay with them. You have to say which teams you are putting in each parlay and for how

Bad day today but things can turn around quite quickly with another undefeated day.

The point of this thread is not to set out exactly what to bet as that would be no fun for anyone.  It is simply for me to put out the games that I believe are good bets and for others to take and research as well and parlay whichever games they feel appropriate.  I just calculated out my units since Feb 5th when I started the other thread in Games & Rounds and I am +15.2 units in the past 6 days.  I don't plan on being positive everyday, I count on winning big one day that takes care of a whole weeks worth of winning.  My winning parlays came out to +22.2 units and my losses came out to -7.0 units.  I have found that this method works out very well for me and I'm happy with it.  I would love for you all to follow along as well!

Is it just one Parlay you do each day?

I was assuming I was going to get this type of response so I tried to emphasize I'm not trying to bash you in any way.  I don't care how many ppl look at my posts versus yours.  I'm in the capping game, and have been for many years, to inform the people who don't know so we can all be profitable.

I am bad about reading instructions and definitely don't read every reply, so I apologize for overlooking your original response to me.


In case anyone is curious, if he was to Parlay all 6 bets last night and waged $10....the win would be $32.34.

the comment about parlaying the bets was irrelevant since it would not have won.

Your post about the "last 6 days payouts" is not clear.  what is the -$10 and "WON", what does that mean?  Just put +$32 or -$88.  Putting the win/loss doesn't help much.

Edit: oh, are you saying if you had parlayed every day?

Yeah, so if I had parlayed all games I selected.  the "WON" means I would have won the amounts shown... so $88 on Feb 8th and $180 on Feb 5th.  And for further clarification I do make a parlay each day including all my picks.

Ryan, any idea how often you hit one of the "all game" parlays?  I know you change it up, like some days it's 10 games and some days 5, but how often - is it like once a week, etc.?  thanks

Over the last few weeks its been about twice a week.  I have also had some really close calls that lost them for me so it could have been even better.  The funny part is I have hit more often on the bigger parlay days!!

See this could be useful then. Keep it up!  I can join in and as long as we hit even once a week it would be profitable, wouldn't it?

yeah on the bigger parlays which are usually near or over +1000.  On the smaller ones such as todays we would need a couple wins.  There weren't very many games today that looked good to me.  I am eyeing betting on Louisville at -15 and SMU at -8 though...

Not really, no.  For example if you parlayed all six picks today, it would only pay +324.  Increasing the number of picks increases the risk (you need every pick to win) but doesn't move the odds that much in your favor since all of his picks are massive favorites.  If you are playing them as straight bets it's also ineffective since one loss cancels out your winnings from 5-10 wins.

Thank you for making me not feel crazy.  I posted something similar to this before.  Each time I comment I seriously want to make sure I am not coming off arrogant, so please Ryan don't take it that way.  At the very least maybe this can help increase your profits.  

The two main problems I have with this system is everything just said above, and also the fact the almost all sportsbooks won't offer the Moneyline plays you take.  Like last night, you took Michigan State ML....the spread was -15 at tip off.  What was the ML on them?  Because I couldn't find it at any sportsbook on- or off-shore.  Doing this for years and I'm not sure I can recall a ML being available when the spread is (giving)10-12+



EDIT:  If you have a system that you like then keep it that way.  I think ppl post like me and above because there isn't all the information needed when trying to offer up the betting advice.  Showing what you are parlaying and what the odds are should be posted I think, but that is just my opinion.

I looked at your picks, and did the homework.  That's what you responded to.  Instead of refuting anything I said, you are playing semantics.

MSU was available when I bet it at ML -1852 on Nitrogensports.eu (http://nitrogensports.eu/r/183/).  it was by far the biggest favorite I had.  The system works for me so it is what I will stick with... If you want to watch I welcome everyone!  And feel free to post some of your picks here as well if you'd like.

Yeah today is not a big payout day if I win, but others are.  Is that what you are looking for?  It was a nice payout on Feb 9th when I went 16/16 with a payout of +1800.  If I win tonight I will be very happy with a payout of +300 because those are the only games I felt worth betting.

Does anyone know of a betting site that takes bitcoins and has "progressive parlays" ?  They are parlays in which you can still win if you lose 1 or 2 games, but the odds go down each loss.  That would be perfect for my picks...

Welp that sucks... Georgia St 10-0 in conference just lost to Troy 3-8 in conference.  UGLY!!!  Oh well, still have a chance for some wins.

I sort of do round robins.  On days where I have a lot of games like today I bet one parlay with all games and 2 with half the games on each side and sometimes change it up a bit.

Eh I only have 14th place.  I was also sooo close to having a one loss parlay last night that would have taken 6th place (11 team)... With basketball I have seen better results with the ML pix so I'm gonna stick to that for now, but with football I bet the spread quite a bit.

The picks today are looking good so far. 

I am picking Syracuse and Missouri on the moneyline tonight.  Both are not favored

I like both of those.  Especially Missouri... Not really sure why they are underdogs as they beat Alabama by 20 earlier in the season.

Wow that call by the refs at the end of the Syracuse game was terrible.  Totally screwed Syracuse as well as anyone who bet the spread as the coach got 2 technical fouls and thrown out of the game and they lost by 6... Anyone else see that?

Many games are rigged by the bet hauses or to make them more fun to watch.. all the sports.. like my arizona spread win days ago.. the foul call in the last two seconds hehe. Anyway not even knowing that is easy to win all times.
The most ridiculous rigged sport is the nfl.. but if it wasnt , one team have had gone perfect not losing even one and winning the super bowl at end. And thats is boring

The foul call was fine, the techs were basically mandatory.

The line was 6.5.  Nobody got "screwed".

I agree the technicals were mandatory, but I disagree with the charge call... I thought it was aweful with how they are supposed to be called this year.

I had Duke -6.  So in a sense I got lucky with the techs.  On the otehr hand Duke had 2 freethrows in the last minute that they missed which would have won it for me.

So close! at least you got a push... Its pretty crazy how often the lines are spot on for games.

Ouch!  Yeah I'm mad at myself because I had decided not to put anything higher than -1000 in my parlays anymore, but did anyway yesterday and look what happened... lose a game that barely added anything to the payout! +2.4 units on the parlays is nice.  Are you putting down 1 unit per game also?  If so are you putting down a flat unit to win whatever or are you putting down whatever to win 1?

It shows in the links how much I put down, but at the moment I am putting down 2 units on the large parlay and 1 unit on each of the smaller parlays.  If I win one of the smaller parlays it usually just gets me back to about even for the day.  For me its all about the undefeated days with the big payout.

I use NITROGENSPORTS.EU (http://nitrogensports.eu/r/183) and have never had an issue.  I have tried out Jetwin a bit and it is ok but I have found that they often have games missing and their odds are not as competetive as Nitrogen which has the lowest around.

If you want to have a little action you can parlay the 3 plays i am playing today.  I usually do a small parlay on the side as well as my picks if i have 2 or three picks for that given day.

Not sure how much i am up unit wise on just the parlays bc i dont strictly track them as i do my individual plays but i can tell you that i am plus units on parlays alone when i have 2 or 3 game days.  I dont parlay days when i have more than 3 games.

Also i went back through this thread from the beginning to yesterday and you are sitting at ~+100 units in this thread.  Just thought you or anyone else who follows you may like to know that information.

Alot of those units came on that one day where you hit like a 20 play parlay as well as like 5 other parlays on that same day.

Yeah, seemed pretty obvious so I locked it in at 4 on nitrogen and got my buddy to take more action vs me at 4.5.  I'm pretty sure they're going to beat St Louis too.

I am not stopping MLB picks.  I am stopping MLB ML plays. I was testing something out and did not see promising results. 

I still play MLB UNDERS as it is a system that i have played before and have no plans on stopping those plays.

Also i do not have any problems with any of the betting sites i use.  I said that there was a bug in the casino bitcoin software that will not allow you to make a bet if the juice is set at EVEN or +/- 100
