Title: Paying Beta Testers .003 Eth
Post by: BitcoinOnline.io on July 04, 2018, 01:36:29 AM
Paying .003 Eth per tester.

To get paid, same or next day:

1) Sign up at  BitcoinOnline.io  and please upload a profile image (doesn't have to be a picture of you or anything just some image so the site isn't full of blank profiles)

2) Browse the site and try to use some of its functionality. If you're a winner, try to use it all!

3) Leave your honest thoughts, suggestions and or feedback on this thread with your username and ethereum address at which you would like to be paid. No need to cherry coat anything. Looking for constructive criticism.  I may choose to pay a little more to those who go above and beyond...

4) You must actually leave feedback. Copying and pasting what someone else said doesn't count, lol. Though if you 2nd someone elses suggestion feel free to let us know.

If you have any questions please refer to the steps above ;)

I have a question - can you point to a wallet showing you have funds to pay many testers?

@Vod, while your request is clearly valid, we talk here about only 1.38$ per tester and he has paid in the past. I'll give him some credit and I'll do some tests since my wallet has no ETH for gas :)

My user name is: japioca
ETH address: 0xD25FcA271FcC05d6d649274127999F12B957d515

My notes:
1. You allow temporary mail addresses, I don't think that's good idea.
2. Earn -> Affiliate programs: page not found. Maybe some sort of Under construction or Nothing here yet would be better.
3. Bitcoin 101. While it can be useful, it's too much text, even if it's formatted. Break it with some images to make it less tiresome.
4. At some point I clicked the home / main link, when opening, those squares did rearrange - pretty slowly - while I wanted to read something from there. Not a pleasant experience.
4+ Also I would have rather kept only useful info there (news? links?), I don't care too much who joined recently since probably I don't know those people.

I hope I was not too picky :) but I think that the site needs some more polishing.

Before proceeding, I hope that there will be an answer to the following:

 1. How many participants are entitled to participate?
 2. Who will escrow these payments?
 3. What ranks are allowed to participate?

I do not know if this is allowed, but forcing people to create accounts and upload images is disinformation for advertisers.
Also, the amount of 0.003 Eth or $1 is considered a little compared with such service in the services section.
Overall I wish you success

Not interested in your payment but certainly would like to give you constructive criticism.

- Description field after signing up doesn't have a border making it seem empty. Only after the click one realises there is a textbox.
- I know this error would happen. Your server threw an error when I tried uploading a file of 10MB. To be precise 500 Internal Server Error. Handle a fixed profile pic file size on the client side before sending the data on the server. This error resulted in a broken page.
- Selected an invalid file, apart from image and as expected, the server failed again. Handle fileType, fileSize errors on the client side.
-Another bunch of errors I found while tinkering with the pages.

- This has something to do with the popup I guess because screen right now is totally broken with elements aligned at random places.
- The site at this point is just a black and white page with nothing on the screen.
- Everything is so verbose about the website and I'm sure if I start testing the other parts, I will come across many more errors and unhandled exceptions.

1- The first thing i see when i open the website are a bunch of posts called "avatar- avatar" this is totally not needed as no one wants to know who has uploaded what,  especially if its their profile picture
2- Also the format could be much better, front page is ugly and the panels are solid orange, which doesnt look that good, it doesnt really fit the theme of bitcoin even if bitcoin was orange
3-bitcoin 101 has alot of text, too boring for someone to read could probably use some pictures
4- Prices, its a good thing you are showing prices, it does look  bad tho, and you could probably redirect to cmc website of that coin when clicked on it, rather than error
5- Redeeming points, atm points are very useless, only thing you can buy is a tshirt, with no  variety, maybe you should sell antminers or something? (you probably dont make enough for this though)
6- The chat thing at the left side doesnt seem to work

Thats most of what i have to say, other than that the website is a new idea :D

Thanks a bunch, all of your suggestions will be reviewed and prioritized.
Payment sent.

Thanks for your feedback, I'll close or update the thread when I get enough testers. Could use 20 to 30 more.
- No escrow, I'm manually sending.
- Any ranks.
- Currently only testing the beta version of the site. There are no advertisers. If there were, I agree that would not be fair to them.
I agree, .003 is a little now. Give it a year ;)
Cheers,
John

1. There is no confirmation email for registered users, to verify the email address.
- Only during beta testing mode to make it easier on you guys.

2. Connect > News Home > LATEST FEATURED NEWS - This area is empty. There are no RSS feeds
Correct, I have not featured any news articles.

3. Connect > Blogs - It would be great to have one picture in the right of the post to maintain consistency in all post so that it looks good in website
Good advice, thanks.

4. Connect > Articles - TAGS on the right hand side is so small. Not readable. Would be great if you increase the font size
Okay

5. Connect > Groups - Article rating option is not working. Not able to rate
You must click on the group in order to rate it. You must also be logged in.

6. Connect > Groups - Chat on the righ hand site is not working. it says disabled
Chat on left hand side? You must first befriend someone and start a conversation for there to be anything in the chat window.

7. Earn > Mining Pools - Page not found
8. Earn > Mining-Hardware - Page not found
9. Earn > Current-IPO's Page not found
10. Earn > Accept-Bitcoin - Page not found
11. Earn > Affiliate-Programs - Page not found
12. Earn > Faucets - Page not found

The pages above will contain top 10 to 20 different "mining pools" or "ipos" etc. with affiliate links, this will be one way the site generates income. It has not been monetized yet as it's still in early stages of beta testing and tweaking.

13. Media > Videos - Close button in the popup for upload video is not working
14. Media > Photos- Close button in the popup for upload Pictures is not working
15. Media > Sounds- Close button in the popup for upload sounds is not working
16. Media > Files - Close button in the popup for upload Files is not working

Did you try clicking outside the popup window?

17. + > FAQ - It would be great if you can list the Faq's in the accordin style (https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_accordion.asp)
Agreed.

Overall the site is not up to the mark on the color and design aspect. This need to be changed with a help of good UI/UX designer.
Agreed.

1. There is no confirmation email for registered users, to verify the email address.

OP - you have been told this twice now.  If you start sending out any spam emails without verifying the person wants to receive emails - you open yourself to negative trust and financial penalties.

Right now anyone can put in my email address.  Fix it.

Hi,

To be hoonest, when i joined the site i didnt understand if it where a datingsite, social media, or a place to list sales or services.. Still i am bit confused.. So you really have to work on welcoming new users in a better way, make the site more like a guide for the site they are on.. And you should drop the big avatars, make them small, not make the userbase the main "event" happening on the site.. Info about the users like what they are offering and so on should be on that place, not pictures, nobody care about the pictures unless it is a dating app or something like that..

Now i am just completely hoonest... But the site has a lot of potential to be whatever you want really, so if you have decided on one thing in your head, focus on that, not try to hit all the ideas in one shot..

Please give me a reply with what your main goal is and i will give you all my toughts and support!

My username is: thinknow  and eth addy: 0x37175abf372adb063710a94c07bbac1e37ba02d3

Thank you!

I am not going to repeat for colour and themes It is actually bought at your notice earlier.
I will say you asked for beta testing for your site a bit early as many of functionalities is still on "Acess Denied" and does not look like it is fully complete.

Let me put forward my findings.
1. Ticker is ambigious
  Bitcoin - $6661.69 (2.85)
You put -(negative) sign before displaying price , This does not look a standard.  Now 2.85 in parenthesis has no unit associated with it. Whether this 2.85 is % or absolute increase in $ value.

2. Fakepath.
While uploading picture it told me the path as  "C/fakepath/../ "

3. I think textbox are created with white outline in all over your site. Not only description box but also message text in Feedback section is not visible.

4.There is no provision to edit the profile picture when clicking "Edit profile"

5. I changed my Profile settings to "Only Me" but still my Profile photo is available in Public Domain under Photos. (Might be true for every media).

6. Forgot password link is not working to retrieve the information /reset the password.

What passed.

1. Did not allowed me to create a account with existing username.
2. Did not allowed me to reuse the same email again for creating the account.

So I signed up and clicked 'about us' and it says 'great things coming'

This was the first link I clicked - perhaps before beta testing you add content to the site if you don't have time simply remove the 'about us' link.

Seems a little dinky and cheap, but obviously good efforts being put into it.  We're trying to do something similar with http://portal.totalcryptos.com  perhaps we could collaborate in some way?

Then I tried to 'add a post' it says 'access denied'

not a good experience.  you asked for it!  ETH address is 0xB54E5Dc43B8321849C5b4Ef6c690D2252f0BAf8b

The site was was actually a total package but looks plain. All were there but just confused about the purpose of it. Its looks like a social media site and a trading site. It has market and alts price. Its a little bit misleading but i understand that this is for beta test only. Hope this will improve for me to experience and share with my friends soon. Thank you.

Were you logged in? Some features are restricted to members only for obvious reasons.

I'll clean that up eventually but honestly, it's not a priority. Will eventually allow users to modify the coins that scroll etc.

2. Fakepath.
While uploading picture it told me the path as  "C/fakepath/../ "
There are a few different options to upload images. Quite a few people have been able to successfully upload an avatar. Could you please let me know when / how you encountered this error?

3. I think textbox are created with white outline in all over your site. Not only description box but also message text in Feedback section is not visible.

I've been hearing alot of that but feel that if one were to actually look at it and try it's pretty obvious. Thoughts? I could add a box around it and have experimented with different designs but don't like the closed in box look.

4.There is no provision to edit the profile picture when clicking "Edit profile"

5. I changed my Profile settings to "Only Me" but still my Profile photo is available in Public Domain under Photos. (Might be true for every media).

Mmm, I'll test this again, was pretty sure I programmed that correctly...

6. Forgot password link is not working to retrieve the information /reset the password.

Confirmed. Thanks,

What passed.

1. Did not allowed me to create a account with existing username.
2. Did not allowed me to reuse the same email again for creating the account.

I signed up, and spent quite a while navigating through the site, It's really got content and interesting features!

My opinion: The homepage is a pretty much very heavy, I'd guess it is due to the numerous features available on it. Like the featured members, Point leaders and Top referrals, I think it will be better to have perhaps a different page for them, to reduce the heaviness, and then the shoutbox, I don't think it is necessary, because it might be abused by users after all. All my experience was based on a mobile smart phone though, or maybe if all those features could be limited / splitted to different pages for mobile users, it will ensure a better experience for mobile users.
