I posted, for the first time, what I thought was a valid question : ("What would be the best place to publish a new consensus protocol"). Posted this on the "Development and Technical discussion" forum. Subsequently, I noticed that the post was deleted. I then came to this forum and also looked through the very first post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15600.0) Unfortunately, the links pointing to "newbie restriction" and "post removal policy" are broken. Back in those days the forum did not have much traffic so things were accepted but now as the forum improves we are/well be seeing more strict rules are in play. I do not see anything wrong. i.e: Back in those days account selling were completely normal (I read it somewhere) but now DT members do not take it easily. However, the answer to your question on where to post a new consensus protocol might be Development and Technical Discussion or Altcoin Discussion, depending on what you are proposing. |
