http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/10628946/Fewer-than-one-in-five-Britons-trust-Bitcoin.html There is a poll at the bottom. Currently "I believe it's a fad" is winning :-* Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: Axewax on February 11, 2014, 08:19:31 AM Bump.
Permissible answers are: 1) I use them regularly to buy goods/services. And 3) I'm intrigued but don't know where to begin. Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: BTCIndia on February 11, 2014, 08:23:06 AM Bhenchod!
They're so shrewd when drafting options of Poll. What is your stance on crypto-currencies? I use them regularly to buy goods/services I own some but only for speculation I'm intrigued but don't know where to begin I don't trust the idea I believe it's a fad I think they will be criminalised Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: Axewax on February 11, 2014, 08:31:42 AM Currently, option1 is on 48.2%. Need a clear majority in favour before I hand over to someone on day shift.

Typical media shit for brains. My $.02. ;) Actually this guy has written some informed pieces about bitcoins including his article "10 places to spend bitcoins in the UK". Which featured my business. So he's got a fan for life in me. Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: mdotstrange on February 11, 2014, 09:41:50 AM Step 1: Mass media creates FUD around Bitcoin which influences the people who pay attention to mass media
Step 2: Mass media polls those very same people and find they have a lot of fear, uncertainty and doubt when it comes to Bitcoin Step 3: Broadcast the negative poll results throughout all of the mass media channels Step 4: Repeat step 1-3 Once what we know as mass media is dead- these simple tactics won't work anymore- their manipulation techniques are pathetic BUT they are fighting Bitcoin now and not ignoring it which means soon they will lose. Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: bitfreak! on February 11, 2014, 10:43:03 AM Quote with a further 29 per cent saying that they did not know if they would ever try a digital currency Lol, that's funny, when the majority of normal money only exists as bank credit on bank computers. Apparently 29% of people don't even realize they use a "digital" currency on a daily basis.Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: hilariousandco on February 11, 2014, 10:51:10 AM Poll options suck. There's never going to be enough options to cover everyone, but I currently own some but only for speculation, but I want to use them regularly to buy goods/services, so I don't know what to vote. Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: EvilPanda on February 11, 2014, 11:57:02 AM At least the poll came out nice :D "I use them regularly to buy goods/services 51.16% (88 votes)"
Title: Re: Poll on the telegraph about bitcoin please vote Post by: minerpart on February 11, 2014, 12:03:35 PM The Telegraph is read by the sort of demographic that could put a lot of money into BTC. So vote away - no log-in required.

There's nothing I really want to spend my coins on yet, but hopefully that'll change. I wish there was a I currently own some but only for speculation but I want to use them regularly to buy goods/services option. ;D.
