This is my observation or am I dreaming!
Usually price hikes in Bitcoin have MORE positive price movements in ALTs: This time it is not playing out like that.

If altcoins price move up more with the few upward of bitcoin price, it only happened for the demand and supply. If your thought is true, I think, demand of altcoins is less than previous. If demand rise, you will see the upside movement of altcoins more than bitcoin.

I think people don't believe the alt season is right now, so they are waiting a new fall to make a huge buy.
Maybe in 2 months we will have another alt season !

I believe that altcoins repeat bitcoin-the growth and fall in prices.

I feel we are gradually getting to the time when altcoins will be be able to stand independent of bitcoins. I have seen situations where despite the downward movement of bitcoin, some altcoins are still moving uptrend.

But bitcoin does not rise hard as well, the sudden increase in bitcoin's price is followed by little dumps, it can't even reach $7000 yet but I agree alts are very weak anymore.

I think it's artificial increase of cryptocurrency price. Big players manipulate market with helping of futures. I don't see demand for crypto.

Do not be surprised
The price of altcoins can only hyke when there is a significant demand for the token
A pump occurs when demand is more than supply

But altcoins supply are more than the demands so probability of rising is 0%
Just focus on your trades and profits and neglect those small pumps

It is because the market is so unstable that no one is sure where it will go. The consequence is the lack of volume in several months.

The market is still cautious as we are still in bearish market with some ups and downs. The market have to bounce back to levels from May and only than we can talk of a start  of a bullish market. Until that there is i lot to go.

Bitcoin is dominating over other currenccies. Probably, when the price will increase more, it may have good effect on other currencies as well.

I think price up and down fully depends on demand and supply. Though most of the time price of altcoins move a lot with the price increase of bitcoin. But this time that is not happening. It will rise when the demand flow will go high.

It is normal, bitcoin and alts are coupled at the moment but sooner or later they will have to fly for themselves, particularly ICO projects.

Normally, the exchange rate of BTC will affect the exchange rate of altcoins. If BTC increases then altcoins decrease and vice versa. The investment in altcoins at this point is perfectly reasonable as the altcoin rates are falling rapidly. And should invest altcoins then hold 3 months to make quick profits.

As the bitcoin has reached to a position where no other crypto currency cannot reach. The ups and downs of other cryptos now actually depend on the bitcoin. Currently every other crypto is directly proportional to the bitcoin.

I think altcoins are not responding to btc latest pump because, that pump is still a part of its sideways movement. Meaning no real bull whatsoever. I think we may just have to wait a little bit longer for the bulls to really push through.

I don't know if most of your observations are real analyses or you are really dreaming of it.

I know that you know that alts are also being pushed by bitcoin when it goes up too.

Negative impact? those are the people who are spreading FUD like you and scaring the community newbies.

Well, the price of altcoins are recovering but in a slow motion. I agree that the price of BTC influences the price of altcoins. But it cannot be the same all time. BTC price is improving day by day and I believe that soon the price of altcoins will give a positive news.

Mainly btc have good future value also it’s the master of all coins based on this btc created a good positions in the market mainly all coins price is mainly dependable with btc price  so if they increase price altcoins are automatically increase because people invest more that time.  8) 8)

That's really bad for me, altcoins do not react to pump of bitcoin enough but they react a lot to its dump which every time makes altcoin investments worse. I hope altcoins will come back anytime soon  :-[

You are right, i have noticed it too.

But this is regarding the small alts, some of the big altcoin are jumiping high.
This is a interesting maret situation , one possible explanation could be that BTC price is manipulated thus the other alts does not see the influx of money and stay relativly stable.

Maybe it needs more pumping so alts will be follow to pump. Bitcoin is not on highest price it's always fluctuating in this moment. Maybe if bitcoin will continues to go higher we can see the differents.

The market also affects by the price of bitcoin. Did you notice that when bitcoin dumps other altcoins down too? Because bitcoin upholds the 50% of the market and any fluctuation that BTC does will result also to a certain change in the price of altcoins.
We knew already that demand affects the price but the altcoins depend in the price of bitcoin, if the investors are waiting for the bitcoin to pump, there is a tendency that they can buy more altcoins too. Therefore, it depends again in BTC and ETH.

No that's just the way the market works, financial market instruments always go up and down. Peoples are selling their alts to buy btc as this one rises they make money and alts drop due to being sold then when btc stabilizes they use the profit off their btc to buy back alts and that's what many do, a fact that btc is the high cap driving all cryptocurrencies.

Yes, you are right. The price of Bitcoin has increased recently a lot but compared to that the price of altcoins has not increased that much. It's good to see that the bear market is coming to an end.

Bitcoin over 7K will see the ALTs move higher!

WE will see altcoins pump following Bitcoin if Bitcoin can break out of the overhead resistance at $6,950. But i find that it's so hard for Bitcoin to break out this, may be a small dip is coming.

I hope to see this as well, but I still feel like we are a long ways away from it. The market first needs to stabilize before we see that happen and be weaned off the dependence on bitcoin, but this could take years.

indeed it is true because altcoin always follow the movement of bitcoin so from it altcoin not too react if bitcoin price undergoes pumping and so if bitcoin price rises automatically Altcoin price will go up and can be beneficial again because now there are many people who hold altcoin and wait for altcoin price back
     

It is necessary to overcome the level of 6800$. Then we can talk about the market reversal.  In the meantime, it's scary to invest in Altcoin.  We need to wait a little longer and many altcoins will go up.

As I remember the previous bull run on bitcoin started from some pump on fundamental altcoins. Now we see similar situations some altcoins start to pump like it was last summer.

The market is just on the verge of a pump. It is just improving. These things take time to get their course to run in action. We need to be a little bit more patient and wait, and hold to our investments a little bit longer; for the market to hit an upward slope fully.

The market of crypto currency is extremely unpredictable. The prices of the coins fluctuate regularly. It is not necessary for the prices to follow a specific pattern. As new investors, crypto currencies, government law are relating to the market constantly the pattern will change. Yet a good knowledge on the market will at least allow an investor to make a prediction on the market.

yes, of course, because Altcoin always follow the movement than from now on with the bitcoin prices from a few months ago and a few weeks ago Altcoin directly follow the bitcoin movement and now many people who invest in Bitcoin and hold their altcoin

If the altcoins value is higher than bitcoin then it is only due to the supply of more and if altcoins increase than bitcoin then there will be a revolution in cryptocurrency. I think we are going to have a time when altcoins will be able to become independent of bitcoin.

I guess you are right at your observation. But I think it will take some time to stable market, In compare price of BTC and ALTcoin that are totally opposite if the BTC rises then ALTcoin go down. But I believe we all get the good news on price of ALTcoin.

I think the balance is slowly coming to the crypto markets. I am a person who thinks that artificial bonds between bitcoin and altcoins will weaken and eventually disappear.

bitcoin movement is decreasing it will have decreased altcoin affect, these few weeks bitcoin is not a significant increase, maybe after the world cup I hope bitcoin there is an increase

Actually, not all altcoins will be pumped if Bitcoin will having an upswing, it really depends on the volume of demands on every coin in the market but this will not give a negative to Bitcoin because of we have also a supply and demand rule.

That could be due to the fact that the price of bitcoin is not moving much. And since the price is always going back down just as fast as it went up then there is no time for the altcoins to react to this change in price. What we should hope for is for there to be a more substantial change in price, that way, the altcoins can follow the increase in price.

It is normal that the alternativecoins does not overreacting to the bitcoin pump
because the company of bitcoin and ethereum are not related to each other so no reason to overreacting.

Seems to keep end up being a bear trap. Hopefully it's different this time. I'm not too concerned with Bitcoin still over $6k though to be honest.

Actually, not all the alts had also increase after btc had started a slight pump this day but majority seems to be increasing. I hope that the current movement will continue further such that btc could be able to reach over the $7K mark thus, it could also improve the altcoin market as well.

Yes, I agree wit you because most people believe the market will still dip a bit and they will prefer to buy the altcoin when the price is lower than it is now that is why the price of altcoin are no reacting to the bitcoin pump because the price of a coin is dependent on the rate of demand and supply. I am sure when people pump the price of altcoin, then there will be positive rise in the price.

I think they are not over reacting in bitcoin pump,
it is a normal phase of the business and there are times that the company is become conscious because their existence is not unlimited in the industry.

It is not to be surprised that the rising of Bitcoin is more than the Altcoins. If supply is more than the demand price will go slow.

I see good future for bitcoin, altcoins will also rise after increase of bitcoin prize we just need more time. I will tart to smile when altcoins start rising like last year.
