Title: (beginner) How many bitcoins a month I'll get mine using ATI Radeon HD 7870 2GB? Post by: DatCaron on February 11, 2014, 05:01:50 PM I'm thinking about entering the wave of mining bitcoins, and I wonder if it is worth investing. Did you know approximately how I get mine for months with this card?

Dont bother to try and mine Bitcoin with any GPU, it's pointless with the difficulty so high. Have you considered mining other coins, Litecoin or such ? Dig around the forums some more, lots of information here. Title: Re: (beginner) How many bitcoins a month I'll get mine using ATI Radeon HD 7870 2GB? Post by: Benny1985 on February 11, 2014, 05:06:28 PM You won't be able to mine Bitcoin very well with a GPU. You'd be far better off mining an altcoin like LTC, VTC, or DOGE then converting to BTC, as you'll earn between 50x and 70x more coins.

Post by: HellDiverUK on February 11, 2014, 05:11:22 PM Use one of the many mutli-coin pools (like Wafflepool, Middlecoin, etc) that allow you to automatically mine the most profitable altcoin and then pay out in BTC.
I use Middlecoin with a R9 280X, and it pulls in 0.01BTC a day - it's about the same speed as a 7970. You will probably get half that. Post by: goggles1200 on February 11, 2014, 05:54:07 PM I'm using a 7850 on middlecoin and I get about .06BTC a week running around 300MH/s. Took a bit in tuning it, but it's purring along.
