I have tried to sell tokens in the past which resulted in losing all that I had, I need more advice on best Exchanges for mostly all altcoins and how safer they are to use?

If I am not wrong,you are searching a best exchange for trade,buy or sell altcoins.In this respect,I suggest you to use Kucoin exchange.It is easy to use and they use high security for safe.So,if you want,you can use this.

If you ar looking for a exchange with safety in mind then look no further then binance.If you want to buy new tokens which have just finished the ico and haven't hit mainstream them look at kucoin.

I like Bitmora. As for me, it is one of the easiest to use.
Also I support Cobinhood. It is new and have exclusive coins.
Both of the do not ask to pass KYC in order to get money back.

I like crex24, I currently have my priv token on it also coinex, gave traded with coinex and I can say it's safe for me.

If you really need well secured exchanges to use, i would recommend you go with the top first 20 exchanges. Although, some of the exchanges below these ranks are also secured. You only have to ensure you are using the correct url and not phishing sites.

I want to start a shitcoin fund on binance with my 0.1btc but I don't want to give them my personal information. Is there anybody who had any problems with a lvl1 unverified account? (only verified by email)

I've seen polo and the others locking up accounts without a warning but yet to see anything serious about binance.

Cobinhood has zero fees, perhaps worth checking this one out?

If you are worried about exchange hacking or do not want to transfer to exchange wallet for selling then i will suggest you to try wallet based decentralized exchanges like fork delta, idex and ether delta, no account needed you just need to connect your wallet and trade.

This is a rather complicated question ... There is no universal exchange, on which all the altcoins would trade. But the largest exchanges are Binance, Bitfinex, OKEx, Bittrex. I recommend having accounts on each of them. The IDEX is also an excellent exchange. It is quite difficult to actively trade on it, but you can buy any token of the ERC-20 format on it.

We can already preview which site is on top as of now and using them would somehow give less risk but not a guaranteed thing for them not to experience issues even on Binance on their recent bug incident.

At the time allmost everyone choice Binance when someone asking about best exchange. That's true - it is not bad. But i need to say that another, like Hotbit, Bittrex, Tidex - also nd bad and easey to use. Do not choice the exchange with a high fee's.

I have had good success with bittrex.  They are easy to use and very secure.  Trades, deposits, withdrawals, etc have always been fast and secure.  Their chart tools are the best but I've seen worse.  Bittrex wasn't accepting new customers for a while but that should change.  Because of their recent policy to turn away new customers you can see their volume went down but that will change too.  They are a good exchange and I highly recommend them.

If you want less risk, you should go with decentralized exchanges but current decentralized exchanges are even risky for me. OAX is not ready yet.

For me the best exchange is Binance, it's comfortable. Also it has its own mobile app and it's awesome too!

For me, the best crypto currency exchanges are: Binance, Kucoin and IDEX. It seems to me that at least one exchange will suit you.

In my opinion the best exchange with less risk is Binance,i am using also Kucoin.

I would start by clarifying the exchange into two part which is Centralized and Decentralized exchange.
Centralized exchange are exchange where all coins listed are being customized with each wallets address for transactions, while Decentralized exchange is an exchange that requires you to unlock your wallet by yourself.
Fast and reliable Centralized exchange are Binance, Kucoin, HitBTC.
While Decentralized exchange are Idex, folkdelta and etherdelta.

I've been fine with Bittrex, but expect most of the top exchanges to at least be semi-risk free (relatively speaking). Just read up on reviews and any user comments from folks using the exchanges.

Best to stay away from exchanges with iffy policies, low volume or those who have been hacked already.

Not sure why you lost those funds and if it was your mistake or did you just step on a landmine, but I would avoid shady small exchanges like Liqui, CoinExchange etc. and stick to the bigger, more credible ones like Binance, Kucoin, Huobi and some others.

I think the best and least risky exchange is Bittrex. While Binance and other exchanges have been hacked, but as far as I know, no hacker can attack Bittrex.

All exchanges are risky. We should use multiple exchanges and not leave our properties on the exchanges, because the exchange can be hacked by hackers at any time.

I encourage you to use Kucoin exchange. Although Kucoin is a new exchange in 2017. But this exchange is extremely safe and has very low trading fees.

Best exchange is the one that have your security of your wallet on mind, by allowing you to activate a 2fa as a second layer security. Also a best exchange is the one that keeps most of its funds on a cold wallet so that in case of a hack, it can sustain itself.

Although yesterday Binance exchange was attacked, but Binance has taken the flaw remedies. I still fully trust and always use the Binance exchange

there are some exchangers that are good and safe to use and one of them is binance, many people believe that if a token is listed in binance then the volume and price will rise significantly because there are a lot of big investors there and therefore if you token that you have got a purpose go into binance you should not sell it before it happens

Recently, I have not heard that hacker attacks on stock exchanges happened too often. The number of exchanges is growing very fast, but the number of break-ins is becoming less. This suggests that exchanges are becoming more reliable than before.

Since these exchanges are centralised I don't really think there is an 100percent safe exchange out there. It can be hacked. But I still prefer binance because they do are huge,more secured and refund  stolen tokens due to any security breaches.

I think a pretty safe and good exchange is Binance, I do not mean to promote. Developers Binance also frequently updates to notify information about security updates. Meaning they are serious to keep the security of their members.

As my friend saying that exchange was also taking a risk because you exchange you token in the lowest price to sell it. It safe but make it sure that exchange was not scam. Laways be vigilante on what are you doing like that exhange and always take a risk and try to find a exchange that better and gpod for the exchange because all of exchange was same.

I have been using Idex Exchange for buying and selling crypto coins for over 7 months now, without loosing any of my coin, which is serving more better, Therefor, is a very less risk exchange to used.

Decentralized exchange site should become the first place for you dude. If you are still using centralized exchange and it looks like the majority of them very similar one to each other but they are only different with their policies and agreement. If you are wanna trading ethereum asset and the only anwer to use decentralized exchange site like IDEX

On binance it is convenient to buy and sell tokens. A small difference between the sale price and the purchase price. And everything is very simple and understandable

to be honest, I never feel secure when my token or coin is on the exchange, but I think it's true that binance are better than others if you compare them from some strategic aspect like security and more

Nonetheless. I choose Huobi and then Binance for this one. Why? Huobi.pro is the best in multi-layer security in all of the exchanges right now that inlcude email, google 2fa, and passport verification. Your account doesn't simply get hacked. For Binance, no wonder it is safe because it is the biggest echange in terms of daily volume right now in all exchanges. The CEO of Binance announce recently due the incident of hacking that they will allocate 10% of fees goes to emergency fund that will compensate any hacking or similar activities.

Just use decentralized exchange like idex, no shitty fee, no the obligation to upload your important data and no chance of getting scammed when the exchanges turns out to be hacked or bankrupt.
All those centralized exchange are usually shit although some of them are great but just learning from the past to what happened to previous exchanges.

Open coinmarcetcap, choose exchanges, and find out wich have a big trading volume. Big trading volume means a lot of people trust this exchange. Is called wisdom of crowd. Ofcourse sometimes exchanger cheating with volume, but in top 10 you will not find such exchanges, and even if there will be such, you will see alert from cmc, about fake volume. Shitchanges that are cheating frequently deleted by cmc from base.

Bittrex are currently with new security  system improvement i use the exchange for my online trading for almost a year i can't experience any kind of troubles using BITTREX, i can't derictly i suggest to you to use bittresx but i want you learn if suite in your standards to use it.

For me there are lots of exchange which are safe to use only you need to do in order to avoid hacking your account there is to enable 2FA for your account protection. This is the best move to do because we cannot stick to only one exchange because not all of our tokens are available in one exchange so we need to sell it to another one. We cannot avoid this things so be careful.

The best exchange with best security would be binance it has a great api , binance is easy to use and your investment would always be safe.

This question is a complication instead of No international exchange, wherever the altcoins are traded. because the highest exchanges are Binance, Bitfinex, OKEx, Bittrex. a lot more. and I recommend finding new accounts of each of the high exchangers. and IDEX is a good change. It would be a challenge to become active in this trade, but you can buy any of the tokens to the format of the ERC-20 here.

i think you need to use exchanger with a simple interface.
and you need to observe that exchanger like where is the buy & sell button, and how to use that.

I also check coinmarketcap to see the volume of large exchanges and the rankings constantly changing, which makes many investors excited because the competition is getting better and better. Many strategies to attract investors come to their exchanges. I believe that this year there will be much better exchanges and we have more choices

theres a lot of exchanges market out there, its too long to mention in here but im glad to share some exchanges that has no or less risk in trading and in fees. Huobi, okex, bibox, bancor, mercatox, cryptopia, livecoin, binance, bittrex.

i used binance and bittrex. i have not encountered any problem trading in that exchange. before using an exchange be sure to search it first to see if they got a good review to avoid lose of money.

It depends on what you are going to use the exchange for.

If you are looking for just safety to sell off your coins, then I would recommend Binance.
The only thing is, you can't sell your btc for cash.
But if you are looking to cash out, I don't recommend using any exchanges at all (they take a huge fee) and just go peer to peer.
You can protect yourself by using an escrow service, there are tons of them.
You can find buyers and sellers all over the place, but localbitcoins.com is one of the biggest ones.

If you are looking to do some trading, then you want an exchange with the lowest fees.
Basically, any of the newer ones that have their own dedicated token is good (their dedicated token makes fees cheaper).
So, once again, Binance, and also Kucoin and Bibox.

If you are looking to do day trades, than you need one with high volume.

What exactly do you mean by selling tokens that resulted in losing all of them? And which exchange were you using? So far, I have been using at least 4-5 exchanges and I have not encountered a similar problem. Is it really the exchange that has the problem? Or perhaps it is in your individual account? Please use 2FA and change your password regularly. You might want to try Bittrex, Cryptopia, Binance, KuCoin, HitBTC.

I've been using Bitstamp for years and love it. They have been hacked for a couple of thousand of BTC in 2015 but they have been very transparent about it and it never impacted the user's balances. Their support is responsive and very professional. They are trading with EUR, USD, BTC, Ripple, ETH and will add BCH in a month or so.

I was using bittrex and polo from last few years without any issues but now you have to verify your account to get withdrawal limit high and verification is mandatory, and one thing you can use decentralize exchange like index.market.

Loss in trading has no relation with exchange. Exchange has realtion with safe or not the money and its true but it does not mean when we choose the right exchange then we will always profit. Those are very different thing. But of course choose the great and less risk about hacking is very important. Binance is the best choice i think.

Bigger exchanges doesn't necessarily mean that it has better security or services. Hitbtc for example, is one of the earlier exchanges but the service is shit. I'm using kucoin and OKex for now and I haven't got a problem with it.

I guess he's using a scam exchange that would usually suck up all your balance. Or he misused and not read the terms of using the exchange. The OP is somehow unclear on what was the issue about his tokens and the exchange.
What you have in the list of exchange are the best exchange that could be recommend to someone who's looking for a good one. But, for them to be aware, even the best exchanges may encounter certain issues. So, issues with exchanges is normal, but the best one could give you a quick response from the team while resolving it.

Perhaps I think the op are lack of knowledge about it that's why it  results of losing her token. There's a lot of exchange site and I would say it's good for trade. It is hard to say if what is the best or less risk because most of them are good to use and it depends on your knowledge on how to use it, how to secure your funds.

I think binance is a best exchanger in the world for now. With high liquidity, good customer service, and beautiful user interface. But, I think huobi.pro has a potential too

maybe you can also try gate.io or coinexchange because it has a good security when in gate.io password consists of 2 passwords that password we login into the market and one more password to make transactions and we can make it different so we are less likely to lose the coin that we have.

I really like Poloniex and Bittrex,  since they operated is never any issue with hack like other exchange,  and till now I still use it for trading.  And for decentralized exchange I used wavesplatform,  also I used Binance.  I think more safe to trade in minimum  4 different exchange , and put money by each 25%, this is good risk management for our money because too many issue of hack now.

Kucoin exchange is amazing when it comes to its security feature.First there is a phrase you can chose that helps you know you are not accessing a phishing site, secondly 2FA is a must, and you must set withdrawal security feature known only to you.So even if someone got your password,hacked your email ,managed to gain access to your 2fa,he may still not be able to withdraw your funds.There even more features not mentioned here.

there are lot of exchanges are available to buy crpto coins and trade, poloniex, bittrex,bitfinex,kucoin etc.. are best, if you choose any exchange first you check there security options, if there is high fee also lot of security options will be available,there are lot of new exchanges also there, more coins also available to trade, am using 7 exchanges that's all are very good.

Lately I see more exchange then ICOs.. :)
Seems they all use the same platform and are just a copy/pastes of each other, just colour and menu changes.
All in all, you need at least 2FA in each of them, to be peacefull.
Can`t imagine how one might not use 2FA in these days, when hacking become more vulnerable and doable, as never before..

Its very easy to use. But the risk of those decentralized exchange, is your new token will suddenly dump.

How can you lose all your coin? Maybe you sent them to the wrong deposit address? Because the coin can't be lost if yoj already deposit them on exchange the only exception is when someone hack your exchange account. Always turn on mobile auth for better security, binance and kucoin have grrat security and i never have any problem trading there.

there are several crypto trading exchanges but few them are having quite secure and safe and according to my opinion yobit.net is the best exchange because yobit never delist any coin from the market and trading always on for every altcoin and moreover it has all safety features like 2FA for mobile as well as for email.

Probably EtherDelta is most safe, but volume is very low and fees depend from the Ethereum gas price. Anyway you could not find one exchange for all tokens. So try to use top-10 Exchanges and avoid new exchanges, it could be a scam.

Well if you're looking for the most secure exchange than Binance beats every other exchange going by its records. They also recently launched a program called SAFU, which is a fund for those whose coins might be hacked from the exchange. Also it provides very high liquidity which is a must for many.

What do you mean by you lose all you had when you wanted to sell your tokens. Were you hacked? or the exchange you kept your tokens was hacked and you lost your tokens. Anyways it's not a good idea to keep your long term coins in any exchange no matter how trusted the exchange is. Binance, bittrex, kucoin and co are good to sell your tokens.

For me the best exchanges are Bit-z, Binance and Kucoin. They are relly secured in terms of security. They also have faster transactions compared to other exchanges amd with lower transaction fees.

Risk is hard to quantify but the biggest exchanges in safe jurisdictions should have lower risk. Use more than one exchange to hedge your risk.

There are quite a good number of exchanges out there with good reputation. Exchange site is also one of the crucial aspect in crypto, hence requires caution before you choose to trade with them. In all, it is not advisable to keep your coins permanently on exchange sites if not being traded. Binance, Kucoin, and Coinbase hae good track record and you should try those ones too.

Do you mean less risk in account security or in trading activity. If you mean less risk in trading activity you have to chooce exchange that offer stop limit function with high trading volume, and these exchange is Bittrex, Binance and Kraken. They offer stop limit order so this function you can use use as stop loss and trailling stop too, this function will minimize the risk in trading activity.

I think you can use decentralized exchanges like index, no annoying costs, no obligation to upload your important data and no chance of getting a scam when the exchange is hacked or bankrupt. but I think if All these centralized exchanges are usually not it makes sense though there is a good one you also have to learn from the previous exchange.

From my perspective finance is good option for you. Because it is safe and very easy to access. Every transaction you can use finance. Many people’s are use this.

For trading, I find Binance and kucoin to be relatively safe up till now. There are no problems with withdrawal of coins and general trading. The support team respond in a reasonable time frame which is a plus point.

First not that there is really no exchange platform that is 100% safe,  we have seen in resent past how much they are prone to hacks and that a lot of people have lost lots of money to hackers that millions of dollars 211906.  of crypto, I wouldn't trust  these exchange at all, however, exchange platforms such as Binance are relatively safer than others No matter how safe it might be though, i dont advise anyone storing coins in them

both types of exchange etherdelta and forkdelta I have used, and I can feel the advantages and disadvantages. both of them almost have the same features. but the drawback if so many people make withdrawals, the transaction can take a long time. So from then on I did not use both exchanges, and currently I prefer to use hitbtc and bittrex rather than forkdelta and etherdelta.

Curently, there are many exchanges for us to trade. But as you know, which one is high trust? By some times for trading, I realize that some exchanges can be the best, such as OKEX, Binance, Kucoin, HoubiePro,...Try now!

Kucoin is probably one of the more reliable exchanges, I use it all the time to buy and hold my favourite hybrid PoW/PoS crypto-currency, Deeponion.
I used to use cryptopia, but kucoin has a lot more volume, making a more liquid market.
From what I understand, the likes of Deeponion are applying for larger and more trusted exchanges too.

I think there is no exchange which we can trust %100 in the cryptocurrency world. But I am generally using IDEX, and it has a very easy using and has a lot of good altcoins and tokens.

I have accounts in 11 exchanges.

What keeps Kucoin on top for me is the security. Lot of security added.  Like additional name , Questions to withdraw, Email verification and more if you permit. I trade DeepOnion, NEO, DAG there all the time and never had a problem.

There how many exchanges in the market with low risk. Binance is a great platform for Crypto exchange. Idex, Okex are also great options.

Looking for best exchange, I would say one is the best but will talk about the one I know and have tried, I think poloniex, bittrex are save to my own understanding because I have used these two and still using them and ever since I got in to crypto I have not heard of them been hack or funds stolen, but people are leaving them to all these new exchange with high volume but I don't think that is enough evidence to trade with high volume is best exchange but you have to look at security wise which is more important to me .

i do recommend you to use okex, binance, kucoin and bitfinex. All of them are top exchange i do think its safer to trade in top exchange cause they got high volume and seems like mkre trusted rather than small exchange. Its really recommend to not store your coin on exchange, its better to safe it on hard wallet or on other wallet.

For top altcoins, Binance is the best, but exchanges like bittrex, poloniex, houbi, kucoin are worth a try if your token is not on binance.

Decentralized exchanges are good to use too like Etherdelta, Forkdelta, IDEX but then you just have to be careful to use the right site because there are many phishing sites that may hack your wallet since accessing these sites require you to input your private key except if you are using metamask then there is no need. Centralized exchanges have more volume though so it would be good to trade there if you have large number of coins. Some exchanges need KYC so better take attention when registering to an exchange.

I had a really great experience with CEX.io for fiat/crypto operations. They have pretty low fees for fiat withdrawals. Especially, if you withdraw to VISA the fee is always fixed $3.80.

Bigger exchanges doesn't necessarily mean that it has better security or services. Hitbtc for example, is one of the earlier exchanges but the service is shit. I'm using kucoin and OKex for now and I haven't got a problem with it.

If you are looking for a exchange with less risk, you'd better use a decentralized exchange. You don't know if the centralized exchange will be hacked in the future and can only hope it will never happen. At least put your altcoins in your own wallet.
