A graded AU58 for example is selling on Ebay for $2200 but people always ask high prices.

Damn that is high..but then again I am not a coin expert. Perhaps it is worth it.

There must be a catalog or recent auction price for comparison.

Hey there KrogothNYC,

Here is the relevant page.  1914d located near finger.  I cannot determine grade from the photos provided.  Columns go by grade, from left to right: G-4. VG-8, F-12, VF-20, EF-40, AU-50, MS-60, MS-63

I'll trade you 7 ounces of silver

This might be the worst low ball offer I have ever seen on this forum.

Hey otrkid1970, just a suggestion but I would get this coin graded by PCGS or NGC before trying to sell.   I personally would not buy such a high value coin without either being able to view it in person or if it was graded by one of those two.

Best of luck with your sale and cool rare penny you have there.

TY it will be going to the Grading service if i don't find any buyers. Escrow is available to anyone who wants to be able to see it before releasing funds.

I agree with LC, never showed the front of the coin to us either. Either it would need to be graded, or I'd need to see it in person with a magnifyer.

Definitely need clearer pics.  This coin is often counterfeited due to the value so having it graded for authenticity will help immensely.
